- No drawing or painting ability needed for this Napkin Art on Canvas. This picture was created using a paper napkin for the scene and the verse. The picture was quick and easy to create. My step-by-step instruction will have you creating beautiful Canvas Art in no time.
I used the Water Method to decoupage this paper napkin to the canvas. Check out my method for adding a quote to napkin paper to add to this picture also.

I have never thought to use the water method on canvas!
The water method should work on any hard or firm non-porous surface Nicole. I will have to get my thinking cap on and come up with a few more.

Loved this playlist so many great ideas for using napkins and most beautiful napkins, thank you for sharing your techniques. What do you do to get the stickiness from the mod podge.
I add water to mod podge to make it less sticky.
How do I create a new look using napkins on an old photo canvas. I have a photo taken in black and white and turn it into a photo canvas. But I didn't like the way it turned out and I just want to use that canvas and create a new look using paper napkins. How do I cover the black and white photo? In short it's not a new white canvas.

I have never done it with a photo canvas but any old canvas I have I just either white gesso or white acrylic paint over it to ensure the napkin has a light coloured background.
If you put the fuzzy side of velcro on the catd it wont be sharp but will smooth it
