The dynamic between Ryan and Shane is amazing they literally act like a marred couple Shane being the disgruntled wife whose husband never takes her anywhere nice and Ryan being the clueless husband who has no idea what he did wrong.
I really just adore that this series has turned into basically a sitcom-documentary for anything they do. Putting in the "hey, a salamander!" and the "you're such an idiot" makes it far more real than any other 'investigation' program. Love it!
Not to mention the beginning part with the motel and then the burger part! I feel like it helps lend authenticity to anything they investigate since it's so genuine. Also, it's basically how my friends and I would investigate any of these things - bantering and poking fun and laughing through anything 'serious'. A++++

This is such a good episode, the vibes are immaculate. Ryan isn't scared out of his mind, Shane can see where the Bigfoot lore comes from and is into it, cracking a cold one with the 'foot, and the Pacific Northwest vibes. Just great.

bigfoot is a myth. If it was real, it would have been caught by now. Do you know how many people look for bigfoot and track them? Thousands of people do that. If they cant find concrete evidence then it means there is no bigfoot. Its just in their head. There’s also a cut scene in the nearly 60 or 70 special episode that the director/cameraman shows of Shane repeatedly hearing a sound even though the back wall is right behind them and he’s terrified and just started running fast towards Ryan leaving the cameraman behind from the Rolling Hill’s episode. This series is great. They manage to strike the perfect balance between the unsettling and playful banter that makes it interesting without being overbearing.

bigfoot is a myth. If it was real, it would have been caught by now. Do you know how many people look for bigfoot and track them? Thousands of people do that. If they cant find concrete evidence then it means there is no bigfoot. Its just in their head. Many people use bigfoot myth to make money, write books sell them make tv shows, make restaurants etc. Its fake.

AllWillFail watch their live Q&A of postmortem Shane admits that in some of the cases he gets scared but somehow he turns that part of his brain off so it doesn’t affect him. There’s also a cut scene in the nearly 60 or 70 special episode that the director/cameraman shows of Shane repeatedly hearing a sound even though the back wall is right behind them and he’s terrified and just started running fast towards Ryan leaving the cameraman behind from the Rolling Hill’s episode. The cameraman looks and sounds well pissed when telling the story because he could hear the noise too and Shane just left him in the dark because he took the flashlight with him when he just bolted! 🤣🤣🤣

This series is great. They manage to strike the perfect balance between the unsettling and playful banter that makes it interesting without being overbearing.
Potato Sniper yeah they play the “neutral” role very well. They could easily fake all of this footage and have a more intriguing episode. But instead they make up for it by just fucking around and giving us the REAL experience.
