It's you channel so if you want to call it a casserole then have at it sister, people get stuck on names of dishes, such as Chicken Cordon Bleu, all it means is an award-winning dish, you can make it with any filling you want, so sister i see a Quiche, BUT that is what i know. i made this following another video i saw and as i made it i started cracking up because i realized i was making a quiche, so i added corn tortillas at the bottom then i built 3 layers kind of like Lasagna using the corn tortillas as i built it, i felt that was more the casserole dish, but who is anyone to say what you call this or that, it is all perspective and your dish looks amazing. I think you are a wonderful chef, i call you that because those people on tv are not chefs, they are personalities, you could dance circles around them as could I, society makes one feel like you have to have a degree as a chef to be called one lol. most home cooks are chef's. I love me some chile rellano casserole! I make it all the time, sometimes I add my leftover taco meat, yummy! Chile rellano is my favorite thing to order when we go out to eat at Mexican restaurants!

They used everything you put on a Reuben Sandwich. (I.e., sauerkraut, cheese, corned beef,etc.) It looked fabulous. And, so does your casserole. Thanks a bunch!!♥️🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️

Frying the filled peppers is tedious and troublesome and is the reason most people don't like making them! It may not technically be chili rellenos but since it's a casserole, you can take any liberties you want! 😘 This casserole has all the components of chili rellenos but it probably tastes better! 😋 I found a recipe for chili relleno casserole and that's how I started making them! ☺️ Thanks for sharing another great recipe! 🥰

There are a lot of Chili Relleno Quiches on RUclips but only a few real Chili Relleno Casseroles, yours is that wonderful original Casserole! How I layer it is a little different from you but basically the same! This recipe is our families favorite go to comfort food! Well done!
This is Really Really good. I used Anaheim roasted chilies to layer on the bottom of the pan and NM Hot Green Chilies for the topping with the cheese. I also used Heavy Cream instead. This one makes one of my top recipes that I will be using from now on. Excellent! Thanks for this recipe !!

Yes, it is 1 lb of ground hamburger, and the can of chile peppers is 27 oz. If you aren’t able to find the larger can of whole green chiles, you can buy 2 smaller cans.
Chile rellenos are my favorite! But man, what a pain in the tookis!!! I have a lot of poblanos from the garden this year, think I’ll blister them and use them in this instead of wrecking the kitchen !!! LOL!!!

Instead of meat, we’ve added shredded cooked potatoes, bread cubes or crushed tortilla chips. All are yummy additions to the casserole.
