How to remove a trailer brake drum

- In this video I go over step by step how to remove an electric brake drum from your trailer axle. You may need to do this if your axle bearings are bad, or if your trailer brake shoes need replaced. Hope you get some value!

I was bashing the drum with a mallet & looking at the dust cap like an ape before I watched this
Torque sticks are good if you have a proper strength gun, with a proper supply of air. Akd you arent supposed to drop them or go backwards , I dont recommend them as a go to tool for a regular person.

Great video I have a question. Before you took the drum off you spun it and it made noise. Is that normal?
Yeah but you still hear the grinding you never change the brake pads or the wheel bearings. That's the point on that I just changed my wheel bearings I stuck it back on and I hear the grinding still I believe it's the brake pads and I'm going to remove them. Same noise I hear in your video after you replace
Well this video was a waste of time.. yeah let's make a brake video and skip the most technical part of the job.. so glad I learned how to over tighten my lug nuts
