- Brandon Bay - Dingle Peninsula - this is a place you need to experience. This is our week 's riding - 15 sessions in 7 days, epic conditions for wingfoil and surf - certainly the best the trip of our season. We think this is the premier wind sports location in the EU...
Here is a rough guide and examples of what awaits..

Wonderful video - great job
Lovely edit Mike.... Very nice tribute to the Bay! It really is mother nature's playground.
Great video Mike! Looks like a lovely winging spot!
Love it. Come to ride with you guys as soon as i can.
Love it
Looks epic
I’ll have to pencil it in for 2024
Great video, mate. Thanks for sharing the spots, I love that about us wingers, windsurfers and foilers, it's all for sharing. I'd definitely pop over but it's a bit of a trip from Australia.
Great video , great spots
Great video, we were out there at the same time. What a place!!!
Looks an amazing location 👍
Amazing vid!!!!
Thanks Mike, motivational as ever...I'm googling ferry times from Stranraer now...
This is brilliant! Cant wait to see where you go next!

Love your vids Mike! Playing in the shop now ;)
Stunning, I hope you got a second week 😃
Ferry prices and weather permitting 🤙
Great video and what super a place... looks nearly good enough to tempt me away from my normal travel haunt😁
and where is that?? haha I must know!
Awesome great job capturing the beauty and vibe of the place a pice of film you will enjoy watching for years to come 😊
@@ktwo-surf You know, the outer Hebrides😁
I love the place
Excellent
Outstanding
Mike... I really enjoyed watching this. Thanks for sharing it and hope you're all well. As a non convert to anything foil based after watching this it looks like a whole load of fun.
Thanks Sir, yup was truly a great trip. Took me a while to find the love for home beaches when I came back 🙂
I was forced to learn to wing - for my job. I has less than no interest and hoped it was a flash in the pan. Now - 70% of my sessions are wing, and I genuinely, absolutely love the sport. Engrossing in every aspect. You should join us!
Did the boys trip many years ago. Sadly my windsurfing skills weren't up to the conditions we had (tail end of a hurricane so biggest sail i used in 2 weeks was 4.7 and waves were huge) but the trip will live with me till the day i die ( including being robbed, broken toes and sailing in 7m swell off Scraganne).
excellent
💥
Really great video! Would it be worth it to plan a trip from far away (I live in Spain)? Or are there chances that you get a week full of rain and no wind?
If you have the ability do it on a medium strength forecast.. or do early autumn, late spring like we did..
Awesome video. If i may ask, that last shot when you carry the foil on your back, would you share what set up that was? strange looking piece at the end of the fuselage I noticed. Thanks!
Good spot - I can see why you ask...
It's a very simple explanation - I'm carrying my sup paddle in line with the fuselage (so you cant see it), and that is the head of the paddle..
No secret weapon I'm afraid, just a trick of the eye!
Can i see your storage van pkease ? I do have a van but its a mess 😅
Epic video, maybe i missed it but can you tell me the period of the year you went there?
Regards
May 2023. We’ll be back there in 10 days. Round 2. So good we had to go back….
Thk’s for answering, we re planning to go in July, won’t be the same but can’t go an other moment
En el minuto 9:20 parece que te salió volando un sable del wing 😮
I'd love to try a downwind from Dingle to Inch, is that something you guys tried ?
hmm, no - dependant on the conditions I would think. To be fair I have not really got the idea of down winding yet - you have to walk back home! haha
What wing were you using?
I use whatever is left in the van! to be fair we took all freewing and shinn wings with us, shared out between 7 of us.. The one wing that looks odd (and I tended to favour) is a 5m prototype free wing pro, that is very close to stock, but with a tad more forwards drive - a bit more free-ridey 🙂The freewing V3 went down well also.
