How did you program the knobs to zoom in and out of the timelime? I'm having trouble with via and it's asking for a QMK keycode. I have no idea. Thanks for the help in advance!
I did have to map the Resolve functions to it using via. By default the big knob controls just the volume and the others were something like play/pause and switching profiles.
The longest time most people spend is trying to install and get the Via to recognize the keyboard. You have to damn near know code just to install the device. I'm returning mine today because there's not much support to help with installation and no instructions came with it just a qr code that lead to unhelpful directions. These videos are getting this device sold, but these same channels aren't showing the step by step set up which is the most complicated part. Check installation reviews across all platforms before purchasing this device. This is not a just plug and go as it made to appear.
I never said it was plug and play, and the intent of the video was just a quick review using the product and Macropads in general, not a guide on how to set it up. Though admittedly it’s not the easiest to set up, with a bit of research like I did, I’m sure most people can get it to work.
@@ljtech20 sorry i explained myself badly: I read all three are clickable when pressed, my question was if they have clicks when rotated (like a mouse wheel) or they are smooth. thank you!
@@beetrootize Oh I get it now! Well, you can feel the steps when rotating them, specially the smaller ones. The big one is a bit smoother. They are all silent when rotated.
@@ljtech20 thank you! Couldn't find this info anywhere. Too bad I was hoping the big one was clickless, I prefer smooth scroll these days... I think I will give this board a try anyway though :) Thanks!
Total noob here so anyway... Is there a macro to have the Bluetooth switch to a different computer like the Craft Kb? Just want to go on record I regret getting the Craft.
Oh man I’m sorry to hear that! There isn’t an option to do that on VIA or this Macropad that I know of. I think that there’s a Bluetooth version of this one, so you might want to look into that.
This video made me get one of these. Got it in today, but I have a question about VIA: Is there a way to record long, complex macros with the record option WITHOUT going fullscreen? When I do fullscreen, I can't open any other windows and navigate what I am making macros for, so I'm doing it blind.
I’m glad the video helped! From what I know, VIA/QMK would allow you to record pretty much any macro you can think of. Not sure what you mean by having to go full screen.
hi man!! nice video. I have two questions. Do you know how to reset de keyboard. and 2second, the lightning? in my via software the window lightning does not appear. I have the big DOIO megalodon. Like and suscribe man! hugs from chile
Hey there! I remember it took me a bit to reset and flash the firmware. I believe Drop’s website has a nice guide for it I followed. This should allow you to configure everything through VIA. Let me know if that helps and thanks for the sub!
Loved the review! I'm about to buy one of this macropad. Probably im going to be the first reviewing it in Brazil! Good content! I just subscribed to help a brother creator

Won't lie, I was 3:30 into the video before I realized the price. That gave a whole new context to this! Great video!
Really great value overall. I hope the video helped!
Nice video man! The megalodon 3 knob is still one of my favorite macropads I've ever tested.
Thank you! Your video of it is what actually inspired me to get one, love your content man!
Does the knob work with davinci by default or did you have to tweak the functions?

@@ljtech20 is it just mapped as left and right arrow keys

Is there an option to command switching headphones to speakers and back and forth?
I’m not sure if there’s a way to do this in VIA. I currently use a DAC/AMP that has that function built in.
Can this be used for clip Studio paint
Hi, just a quick question: are the three knobs clickless or clicky? thank you!
All three of them are clicky and can be assigned to a different function.

I bought this to create macros in MS Word and PowerPoint, but I am 100% lost on how to program it. It's maddening
