This video help me even understand my dji mc 2 better than any mic 2 videos, really appreciate your video and your thought process about viewers doubt and concern ❤❤❤❤
Im from india and also a content creator , i bought this mic last year. still now i have watched more than 50 videos about the best sound settings of this. but no video could solve my problem. finally yt suggested your video and i watched whole 45 mints. now im a master of this mic😍 thanks bro ..
I have to say. This is the most detailed video. Very well explained. I was going bonkers trying to figure out how to use this mic. Thankyou for the video.
Wow! Your DJI MIC video tremendously shortened the learning curve with my recently purchased DJI MIC 2. So much so, I discovered I can start/stop video/audio recording with the DJI OSMO Action4 with only the MIC 2 transmitter, thanks to your video and the recent firmware update for the DJI OSMO Action4 Camera. Thanks again for the great information you provide for “in the field”use of DJI drones/video/audio equipment. 5⭐️’s!
Perfect, thanks! Wanted to add in case anyone cared because I had to buy it to find out. The receiver will connect to a phone or Action 4 via a USB C port for charging if you don't want to use the adapter included and have it attached via the hot shoe clip.
You hooked me again! I thought 45min video on mic’s was going to be too much but I learned something new (as usual) Thank you for the details, it sets you apart and keeps me coming back.
Your tutorials are 100% excellent this is the second time with another product and I’m using your channel to set it up and I am impressed. Keep up the good work. Very detailed.
Very happy to see how well something that might have been somewhat complicated being explained in such a good way. Always good videos from The Drone Creative.
So wonderfully crafted and created, this is too informative and dam helping video. I bought the mic few weeks back and had some doubts. I would like to thank you for such a helpful contents. I now have no more doubt post watching your video. Thanks once gain for a wonderful informative video on this DJI device.🎉
Awesome video! I just bought the DJI mic. I was between this and the HollyLand Lark Max and both are great, but these are more widely used by creators and we get these type of amazing videos like yours. Have you had the chance to try the HollyLand’s? If so which would you say are better? Thanks!
Thanks, great video. I was able to upgrade both my transmitters to the newest version, but was unable to connect my receiver to my computer. It just would not recognize the receiver. Guess I will have to leave it where it is. Even tried different USB ports, and a different computer. Must be something in the receiver not working.
Look, I just bought the DJI MIC twin set a couple of weeks ago. I seen few videos trying to get the best settings and to know how to use the DJI MIC. This have to be the best and more detailed video guide on the DJI twin mic set I’ve ever seen, seriously bro 👊🏽 thank you so much for sharing this video with us! Respect 🫡
Great detail. I have this set and love it, but need to use it in a creative way this weekend. I'm going to use one mic for a speaker and another as a Q&A mic for the audience. I originally wanted to use the safety track, until this video showed how they are both recorded as one track. Here's my idea/question: If I set each transmitter with the appropriate gain and set to record locally, then set the gain to -6db for the receiver, would that be a smart choice? That gives me a safety track in stereo as part of the recorded video file (using a MILC and OBS). The main downside is that the individual recordings will be the default and will need synced in post. Thoughts?
Hello! Great video...question that I can't see to find an answer on: Does the dji mic protect against clothing rustling? With my past lapel mics that rubbed up against clothing, you can hear the rustling of the cloths which would impact the main audio.
Ok, disclaimer, im completely new to any kind of videoing with my iPhone. However I’ve just bought the osmo mobile 6 and looking at sound now. My question is- why do i need a receiver? Ive just ordered the mic 2 on its own , but why would i need a receiver? Hi from NI too! Thank you.
Any tips on releasing the hot shoe adapter. Just got my dji mic today & it's really, really, tight. I'm worried I will break it trying to get it out again.
I am hoping you can help me out here. I need to run my Osmo pocket three for four hours straight. Will it continue to run if I plug my charger into the battery handle?
Thanks for the great tutorial, one question. When I use the Lighting adapter I am no longer able to select Stereo, it's locked into mono on the display. This happens even if the receiver is not actually connected to an iPhone, just the act of adding the adapter locks Stereo out. This does not happen with the USB C adapter. Is this how it should be, or do I have a faulty adapter?
To answer my own question, after some research it seems that yes, that's how it is, no Stereo when using the iPhone adapter. Another thing to be aware of is that while the receiver is plugging into the iPhone you are not able to hear any recorded audio on the phone.
I looked at one of your other videos on this and was trying to get a generic mic setup to work with my RC remote. I could not get it to work and basically gave up. But I searched and found I had to format the sd card in the rc controller and it would work after that just fine. was super frustrating!
Hello, a couple of questions. When I connect the transmitter to my macbook to download the audio, once I close the window and select eject disk I get: "The disk "NO NAME" could not be ejected because it may be used by one or more programs." (this despite the window having already been closed) is this normal? Another question, how can I use the microphone for example for a video call from my macbook, how do I connect it? Is there any additional configuration to change the internal microphone of the macbook and switch to using the DJI MIC 1 microphone. One last question, when I charge the Receiver and Transmitter from the USB C cable, how do I know when it is fully charged? On the Receiver's screen it only indicates charging, but I can't see what percentage, or how do I see it in the transmitter, since it only flashes green. Thanks in advance
Sir, your vids are not just brilliant they are super, super brilliant. Started off with your dgi osmo 6 vid that just.... wow helped so much. I have a dgi twin mic set up. Out of the box... worked a dream. Now everything looks (lights etc) as though all is paired and should work. Sadly.... can not get it to record anything simply on my iPhone 15 reg box or by recording via dgi osmo app. It should work... but just doesn't. All looks linked etc.... but won't have it. Might mention, interestingly your comment about the link button on the two mic's being able to stop start recording etc. Doesn't work with mine at the minute. Must be a setting issue. Grr..... just can't work it out. Too complicated matters I'm in India till mid March afore I return to Uk. He'll... please? Pretty please. Once again, your bids are brilliant! Congrats and many thanks. 😊 PS Boss, delighted to add a PS! Been fiddling messing about, going out of my mind for two days. Unable to get my set up to work. Grr! Searched GDI iPhone mic problems grr... idiot me.... turned out to be connector bottom of receiver not pushed home hard enough. Probably 2mm. Anyhow... now resolved. Fab vids. Thank you. All sorted!!
When recorded in stereo mode, and you want to keep audio from only the left mic recording. Are you able to edit the sound from the left mic to play back in your video shared between both left and right. or is it stuck on left and can't be changed? Thanks
I have this issue on my DJI mic system that the internal recordings have these... skips... or stutter from time to time, so its difficult to edit or sync the sound with the footage. I've looked into it, and I saw one YT clip that talks about it as well. I'm going to update the firmware to see if it fixes it, haven't used it in a while. Then i'll try to reach out to DJI. They've already "fixed" the mic once, as it altogether stopped recording internally, and the pc couldn't even detect the storage space when connected.
I would definitely try updating the firmware as the update notes mention "Fixed issue: transmitter audio data was occasionally lost when recording for a long time".
I am shocked that they did not include a hold button in case the talent push the "stop recording" whilst I am filming. As wedding filmmaker I cannot use the receiver cuz when it looses the signal I do not have any audio on camera. I came here to see if there was a "hold" feature i could not find by myself.

Have you had the chance to try the HollyLand Lark Max? If so, which one do you think is the best between that one and the DJI?
Excellent walk thru.
You get a bonus for such a review, like twice 👍👍
Thank you!

superb video thanks for all the informative info
Fantastic good explanation 👍
Brilliant video. DJI should use this on their website and of course pay you very well for doing so.
Thank You!

Is it possible to connect more than 2 mics to one reciever? Like if I buy 2 sets but connect 4 mics to just one reciever?
Very good information. And I want to know how we can connect GoPro12 via bluetooth with Dji mic 2.
Superb information thanks kudos
Very nice..thanks for sharing sir😊
Very useful thank you
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Very good video
Great advice.
Wondering if you could help Matthew. Just purchased dji wireless microphone but can't get audio on my Samsung phone. Any hints or quick fixes...tia

Do I need to use mono or stereo mode when using both mics on two people?
How do you know when it’s using the audio from the mics and not the iPhone or iPad? Is there a confirmation that it’s using the mics?
Do a short test video. Otherwise use an app like blackmagic cam where you have audio levels
Whast about the setting on a dji action camera 4
Mine won't make a phone or the dji camera record when I push the record button

Haha yes just change it to mono in your editing software
I can't get to work with the iphone 14 pro max doesn't detect and doesn't record anything. Is there a way???
Does this have noise reduction?
Can dji mic1 record from a mixer
As per usual a great informative presentation.
But way too many adds.
These little mics are pretty good.
I have this issue on my DJI mic system that the internal recordings have these... skips... or stutter from time to time, so its difficult to edit or sync the sound with the footage. I saw another YT video where the guy had the same issue. His fix is he formats the transmitters before each use and this fixed his issue.
Time to change that name again Matthew 😂
Just going to keep adding categories to it until I reach the channel name limit.

Yes there is. Its in transmitter settings. Its called REC stop lock. He literally explaines it in the video on minute 37.30 😅
anyone has issue with DJI Mic cold show adapter stuck not going out 🥴
