Thanks for watching!
Been playing C&C for about 10 years and zero regrets, love it so much and it’s all I’ll run now.
Awesome!
We have fully switched to C&C and glad that we did too.
I have been playing C&C for a year. This is what D&D should be.
What’s your favorite aspect of C&C?
@@NorseFoundry two things immediately spring to mind. I like that the characters are not super heroes and the mechanics/tone of the game feel like I am playing a better version of AD&D.
I do like games that are a bit grittier and less superhero feeling -Jay
@@NorseFoundry C&C is perfect for that imo.
I think that was the intent when they originally wrote it, with Gary Gygax involved. It's been said that this is what 3rd edition DND would have been if Gygax had stayed with TSR. @@Decado1628
Looking forward to the books arriving soon!
Amazing!!
It's WAAAY better than any recent D&D.
Lots of people feel the same!
I got my intro to Castles & Crusades at Gary Con XV and I now I'm just done with 5E and WOTC. Old school feel, but modern mechanics. The game is a total blast.
Is it your main game now?
@@NorseFoundry It WILL be. I'm still trying to recruit players, which we all know is like herding cats.
I'm planning on doing a demo at a local game store soon.
Awesome!!
C&C has been discribed as AD&D 2.75 to me which is close IMO. Roll over system (no THAC0), 2nd ed classes, introduction of cantrips, attribute tests rather than skills. I have the 7th ed PHB and just backed the latest reprinting which is noe OGL free. Good stuff.
That's actually a really good analogy for it!
Good to see stuff like this taking an upswing in popularity. Now that there's some room
I think it’s great that so many TTRPGs are getting highlighted!
Thanks!
You got it!
What I love about C&C is that you can use any OSR stuff and put it into the system very easily. I plan to run Barrowmaze using the C&C system. I really don't have to do much work to make it work in C&C
adventures spell book is awesome
Awesome!
I love C&C.
Great Game!
I want to buy their Gygax material. It’s the 5e reference that puts me off.
I say try it! You may be able to look past it
Love C&C, easy to hack on older D&D options you might like.
Yes
Next question
😂😂
C&C is awesome, blows modern D&D out of the water. Highly recommend.
Love that you enjoy it so much!
20 years
Waving his hands around like that I was worried he was going to cast a spell on you from his book. Can't be too careful around those wily wizards.
Always keep counter spell prepared!
Grace is gorgeous
Oof , no disrepect intended but that dude didnt sell it well. Ive already got the books though
Do you prefer it to D&D?
More 1e with 3x matrix
Interesting take!
Im digging it-- but the editing for these books is abysmal. Like shockingly bad
😬😬😬
I think you’re exaggerating a little bit bud.
I wish I was. I suppose you don't notice it if you don't actually read the text-- which I assume happens a lot with old-heads.
