Great video but it would be cool if you showed how exactly you reached the bottom torx bolts cause I had a hard time reaching them and it was tricky not getting the bolt and washer to fall off
I'm not really familiar with these later systems. I did have a '93 Mark VIII but never touched its air suspension. Inside that dryer will be moisture saturated beads; reason it needs renewal or replacement is because of that moisture. As long as the compressor still runs one should be able to save money by taking the dryer apart and baking the beads in a disposable pan the oven, 250 degrees for about 3 hours until they go from brown to blue. They must be put back in the dryer and the system put back together immediately or they will become saturated again by moisture in the air. The beads may need to be baked again soon in order to fully get the moisture accumulated in the air suspension out; this is why it would be better to do this before putting in a new dryer otherwise the new one will get saturated right away. Might be able to save $100 for a year by doing this to get your air suspension warning lights off though. This worked for my on my Mark VII.
Look under the hood when it is running. If it is moving all over the place than it is an easy fix by just replacing the isolators I showed. If it isn't moving and even if you keep it still it still makes a ton of noise, then pump is bad and you should replace.
It’s just cheap & easier to do a one time conversion to springs & shocks (rear air has shocks also). Ever seen an o ring kit for that system ? Whole lot of o rings
If you have the proper sockets and swivel and power tools like me I bet removal and replacement process could take only an hour. Service manual pays 1.0 hours.
William Greenlee I have a question when I turn on my a/c it start making a clicking sound for a few seconds. But it blow out hot air .I use a can of AC Pro freon still no cold air .can you help me out Sir
William Greenlee we discovered the condensate canister was ice over plus o ring on canister shot. replaced. plus have steel sway links coming and airbags (one does leak). we appreciate your video & response. winter was hellll on vehicles this yr.
Everything worked fine. But I heard reports of higher mileage air ride Ford's collecting a lot of moisture inside the system so I decided to replace it as preventative maintenance.
my Lincoln keeps sagging and will make a hissing noise every time I turn the car off, I am assuming the air bags are shot because its causing flat tires every month or so . I keep getting repair estimates with labor about $600 all together. the car has 180k miles and it drives good just got a tune up and a oil change. in your opinion , is this car worth repairing ?
I would confirm where the air is leaking from. The flat tires have nothing to do with the air ride system. Get a spray bottle with some soap and look under there when it's making the noise and spray where you think the leak is. When you confirm it's just a leaking air bag, I would have both air bags replaced. If everything else is working in the air ride system (pumping up OK), then YES I would get this fixed, especially because if you wait, it will destroy the pump due to overworking it.
Thank you for making this video!!! I was this close to paying 700 to convert to reg springs

How did you do it I'm stuck

The best part about this video is the lack of speaking, just straight to the point no 3 min intro story, nothin. Get in get out done.
Because I am a terrible narrator so I choose not to narrate XD
And thank god he didn't play music. I hate that.
Switchin mine out for springs 💯❗
how is the ride people are telling me i shouldn't do because it don't handel as well i have a 02 continental
You didn’t happen to see the ac low pressure port while you were in there?
I seem to remember it is hidden under the black plastic front cover or something.
Hey bro where can I get that pcv tube you have there , I've been looking all over for someone with exact same as mine plz help me if you can
Mine make noise and shake or vibrate should I just change it or is it an easy fix ?

Hey dude I have that same car but mine is 2002
Me Too.. and having the same problem.
Are u suppose to have the switch on in the trunk.and what is that for exactly
It is the service switch. It needs to be turned off anytime the air ride is serviced OR anytime the vehicle is lifted.
God bless you!!!
how long did. the. removal of the. compressor take?

@@skeetbryles8538 did you ever find you problem
I'm having sagging problems. I just replaced the bags a year ago tho 🤔
was this replacement for over pumping & sagging?
No, that usually means the air bags need replacement. Over-pumping will burn out the pump.

Why did you replace it ? Did the pump never turn on ?
Everything worked fine. But I heard reports of higher mileage air ride Ford's collecting a lot of moisture inside the system so I decided to replace it as preventative maintenance.
What if the male piece that connects the the compressor to the air line bracks
