- What's up everyone! its been a while since I've posted (going through a lot of channel changes...with more to come) but today I'm going to be showing you how to add emulators to the original Xbox. That's right, the OG Xbox. in this video I'm going to be putting original Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, PlayStation1, Sega, Atari and Gameboy on this bad boy so kick back and relax or follow along.

I thinks its its easier if you change your dashboard to xbmc-emustation, most emulator for popular console already included. You just need ftp roms

For Xbox homebrew games, which emulator do we use? I have Xbox homebrew zip files and I just don’t know where to put them, there’s no emulator that’s labeled homebrew but I do see a “Homebrew Games” selection in my main menu but of course it’s empty, thanks for your time.
Has anyone had FTP problems when you attempt to create the emulators folder? I just keep getting 550 internal error. Does anyone know how to fix this?
So I have a soft mod Xbox and I want to add OG Xbox games so I seen on videos they are on file form but mine it’s on .ISO format would it still work or not

Tried to run Forsaken in Surreal 64CE and it tells me that there was no controller pak found. Game cannot be saved. Is there any way to overcome this?
When I connect to my xbox on FTP it connects but doesn't allow viewing the files, or sending or receiving files? I've tried everything it won't work. I have EvolutionX mod
So I added Silent Hill ps1 right, how do I fix it cause its sped up and I want to have it as normal speed

I got MAME to work in the early 2000s, but since then I've proven to be a complete mongoloid when it comes to making emulators / roms work. Most recent failure of mine was trying to get RetroArch to work on my Sony Vaio with Win 8.1. Anyway, I think with these vids I'll be more successful, thanks for uploading these. I'll have to try this later.

You have to obtain roms yourself, personally I backup mine cartridges that I own and then play them as backups on these systems

Downloading ROMs is actually illegal so I can't share that information on here,

Don't know if this will get a response but I've followed all the steps but for some reason my xbox wont show up under my wired devices on router. Ive tried to set static IP but still unable to connect to it. Any advice on how to get connected to it so I can find IP address?
Is the ip address of your console showing up on the dash?

@@BelowAverageGaming No it is not. I was logged into my router on laptop then plugged my Xbox up to my router but router never showed up any wired devices. So I checked settings on Xbox and it was set to DHCP so I changed to static and gave it an IP and still was unable to find on network. So I didn't know if there was any other settings on Xbox I am needing to change or something I am overlooking.
Sounds like your router Box is blocking your connection, you may have to do port forwarding but that's just a guess
My Xbox is already modified, I just need the mame dvd that plays all the old arcade games, including Double Dragon. Can you help?
I've never heard of a mame DVD, are you sure you're not thinking of an emulator?

yes i found out what the issue was for some reason i went into network and under users i think i set it to 5 and after some tweaking it finally loaded it on and it works like a champ now.

I was just fighting with my nostalgia today but I lost, so I found an Xbox Original in the city and bought it. But it turned out the menu is in some strange language which I don’t understand and I have no idea how to settle the Xbox… So I’m here now digging deeper and deeper into RUclips treasuries … haven’t been playing for 15 years or sth, so kinda totally incapable of solving the issue 😂. So if you could help somehow, or if we could get in touch (I promise I won’t take much of your time 😬)…

As for getting it and it being in a different language, it might be an Xbox from out of the country altogether. And if that's the case unfortunately there's not much you can do and I wouldn't know how to mod a console in a different language lol

@Below Average Gaming I had one more question. Since mine already has Sega, super and Nintendo games on it that play good, is it okay to add the emulators like you do in the video or will it mess it up if multiple emulators are on the system?
@Below Average Gaming so i downloaded Filezilla for my Mac to try and connect. Plugged in the ethernet cable and the xbox lights up but no IP address pops up and it won't connect. It says static Ip in settings. Is there another way to file transfer? My system settings on the xbox are way shorter than every video I find on it. Thank you

Mame games do not appear even after being scanned.
Playstation emulator fit on CD or DVD I have my original Xbox to run it on emulator

J'ai une xbox 1ère génération et dans emulator, je n'ai plus aucun fichier. J'avais une centaine de jeux dont Tetris et Dr Mario dont je rafolle et je ne sais pas comment faire pour les retrouver. Je n'y connais rien en informatique car la personne qui m'avait installé tous ces jeux n'est plus de ce monde.

Can you run a Ps1 game from the disc
No, you cannot insert a PS1 disc in the Xbox
You can play PS1 from the disc using newer PS1 emulator PCSX-ReloadedX
Can Dreamcast be play on Xbox
From what I understand the original Xbox can't emulate the Dreamcast because it's from the same console generation and just doesn't have the graphical abilities for it

Ftp is done by having a ethernet cable pluging into your router, then the xbox

Look into a wifi repeater, pretty sure you can use those and can buy them pretty cheap. Just make sure they have an ethernet port
