Just be calm, do what you did in your lessons. When they say to drive off when you are ready even when there is a gap just take a few breaths and take your time.

I was very nervous when I took my test, however the instructor was trying his best to loosen up the nerves... I would like to add 1 thing to this, DON’T THINK YOU FAILED BECAUSE OF AN ERROR. True story: I tried pulling a hill start in second gear, causing the car to stall twice. It’s wasn’t until I did the hill start and the smell of burning clutch that I realised I was in second... passed with 4 minors 👌

I passed yesterday morning lesson was 8:22 in Bristol. I only had 2 minors, minors were leaving the signal on a little too long after a roundabout and not getting the car into the correct gear when shifting down gears . I did correct this but this was given as a minor . All the best for everyone who has your test . Try to speak to yourself if your nervous , it worked with me !

I've got a few hints to share as well. I passed fourth time, but I learned all of these handy tips on my second driving test: 1) Do NOT turn right with the left indicator on. 2) Do NOT engage in a drag race in order to slip into the next lane. 3) Do NOT speak sharply to the examiner, you'll feel guilty afterwards. 4) Do NOT trap a car on your side of the road when they are moving past parked vehicles. Any questions?
My top tip practice before your test go through everything you need to go through and stay calm. I did practice before test the day before with my instructor and just a couple of hours before test with my mother. When I got in the car I was extremely nervous feeling like I didn’t want to do it but I took a deep breath and focus on what the instructor told me to do and my driving and passed on first go I was surprised I thought I wouldn’t pass was relieved when I finished
Passed my test on the 12th, found that it was REALLY helpful watching your videos while learning. However, I did find myself doubting my own abilities near the date of the test from me watching the videos, so maybe this is something to advice, to not mix other students methods with your own!

I passed my South African driving test first time on Friday. Although the test is quite different here, watching this channel helped me improve my technique. And I will continue to watch ☺️

I am very picky when it boils down to choosing something that I am comfortable with (uno not my style lol) but I do drive like 4-5 times a week as to not let my driving get rusty haha, but yes, I drive the same way I did on my test just not with all that handbrake up every time when at a stop sign lol.

Update: I passed!! I have the ultimate driving course and I went through litterly everything last night and it really helped!😀😀😀 I failed my first test 3 weeks ago and have my 2nd tomorrow . I've had over 200hrs,I've done the ultimate driving course,I've done an online anxiety course,I've literally tried everything to calm myself as I cannot think and my mind goes blank😔 wish me luck 😂

I wish I drove a manual because you, Sir, are amazing. I drive an automatic, and I wish there was someone like you in my area of Manchester for my son and daughter. How do you get over the nervousness, I failed my drivers tests due to silly mistakes because I was so nervous and my driver instructor was really harsh and scared me and made things worse. I just need to get over my nervousness any tips?
I have my test tomorrow (3/9/2019)I am so worried about my test.on test day I become so panic and nervous.I fail my two tests and this one is my third test.I don't know how to control my nervousness.
Not even an R driver anymore but here I am. We had a notoriously difficult examiner who gave even the best drivers a ridiculous number of minors. I did 2 tests. The first one was with a different examiner. I got 1 minor but failed because I didn’t see a stop line (there was no sign and we were driving straight into the sun so I couldn’t see it at all, go figure). The second time, with the difficult examiner, I got 10 minors (and passed). My standard of driving hadn’t gotten worse, the examiner simply picks on anything he could consider not 120% perfect. Even my instructor said I shouldn’t have gotten any minors, and he was a pretty strict guy.
Got my test tomorrow 1st December at 8:10am I know I can drive but I’m just nervous that someone else is going to make me fail or I’m going to do something stupid wish me luck 🤞

I failed my first test with the wrong lane of the roundabout going right but going into the left lane I’m so gutted as I did so well on that roundabout so many times but my instructor said it was because of nerves and my thought process of joining the roundabout and leaving it into the left lane at least I know for next time as that was the only major I had

Is the test in the Isle of Man the same / roughly the same as it is in the UK? I know the theory isn't since there's Isle of Man specific questions for example horse trams, the parish walk etc but I was wondering if the practical is the same (except that you can take the test at 16 on the Isle of Man)
Guys , today the first time I driving after I passed my driving test .I passed a red light on pedestrian crossing by accident, what do you think? Does every pedestrian crossing have a traffic camera?
My examiner could have easily failed me for when I was moving out from a parks place on a busy road and started moving, thinking that car that was approaching was far away enough but then I realised I didn't wanna risk it and stayed in my place. But the car approaching already slowed down a bit for me which meant I affected the other driver. But I didn't move off after I initially moved the car when realising that the car was coming fast. So the examiner didn't mark it down as a major fault.. However if I did carry on to move off, the driver behind me would have slowed down considerably and I would have failed. This was in the middle of my test and me thinking I got a major fault for that and failed due to the hesitation and affecting another driver when moving off, I wad fucked.... but someone I passed with 4 minors mwaahahahhaaha. I did have a nice chat with the instructor in the middle of my test which I think helped? Anyways I love my examiner lol

However if I did carry on to move off, the driver behind me would have slowed down considerably and I would have failed. This was in the middle of my test and me thinking I got a major fault for that and failed due to the hesitation and affecting another driver when moving off, I wad fucked.... but someone I passed with 4 minors mwaahahahhaaha. I did have a nice chat with the instructor in the middle of my test which I think helped? Anyways I love my examiner lol
