I saw this boat in Strangford Lough back in the early 2000’s and thought see was a really nice fishing boat conversion. I didn’t realize she was a custom built yacht and the video show that the owners were really perfectionists. Imagine my surprise when the video shows a Gardner 8L3B in the engine room. My idea of boating heaven

from the owner: yes we were in northern ireland the first time in 2003. i do remember strangford loch and the beautiful anchorages there. we were on our way north to scotland.
A stunning example of classic rugged beauty enhanced by reliable, redundant equipment plus a owner friendly layout. Oh how I wish my dad was here to enjoy this video tour.
This ship gives me the same feelings a Bering 65 did I saw on NautiStyles. An owner who was serious about cruising and made the ship their own. It must be bittersweet to part with it. I feel so happy for those who enjoyed it.
This is by far the most beautiful liveboard trawler yacht on the entire market. No other yacht has this much classic charm. Really great condition, super well maintained. I'm really in love with this classic beauty
Phil, I was weened on Gardner engines, as an apprentice, they were fitted into ERF TRUCKS. I would clock out and polish the valve plates in my own time. These engines are so reliable, 5lw, 6lw , 8 lxb to name but a few. Love it.❤
So much more desireable to me than a huge expanse of white fibreglass and camper style interiors. It's rugged and unostentatious, with something of the age of steam to it. Absolutely beautiful.
I was a marine rigger back in the 80’s (I know, a million years ago). We took raw hulls, and built them to customer spec. From scratch…. I know the trade well, and not easily impressed. Watching this video as a tech, my jaw hit the floor! I am in absolute awe. I want to touch this boat!😂😂😂😂😂
Stunning. Having owned and maintained a classic for over 20 years I can say this vessel is a superbly presented and appears to be beautifully maintained all round. Congratulations to the owner.
Definitely a beautiful classic. From the canoe stern to the raised pilot house to the beautiful bright work. She has definitely been well cared for. Thanks for another GREAT VIDEO. 👍👍
What a beautiful vessel with tons of charm and character. Well maintained and owns a very reliable heart in the engine room. High five to the owner of this absolute beauty. And thanks for sharing 👍
A lot to love here. Maybe a bit small in the wheelhouse relative to newer design and I wonder how she rolls in a swell. But I love the character and looks of her. A boat any knowledgeable boater would be proud to own.
What a neat yacht. I thought it would have been crammed full of sailor's cabins, but it is a perfect family yacht with maybe 2 crew, or a captain and a deck/stew
Lovely old boat but should have a wing engine when you may be days cruising from land. Really like how you showcase these type of rarely seen yachts, never get bored with them.
Excellent boat,I wish I can afford,I will buy it on the spot, real boat build for the oceans....many thanks for sharing this video for this boat.a simple Greek sailor, retayer.
Trawler style explorer, who been well looked after. She not a pretty pretty boat, she abit quirky but a sturdy working lady of the sea. With safety and comfort in mind. Unique is what she is.
Very impressive...this would be a perfect small-scale expedition vehicle. There are many fjords just waiting on her to visit! Those two thrusters would make tight atol entrances much less challenging,
These are fabulous videos you produce. I once crewed on a 90’ Feadship built in 1964 which was the former committee boat for the America’s Cup. It is now a rusting hulk in a Bahamian boatyard which can be had for a song and is out of the water.
Very good value for money. Obviously, the fact she is due for another refit and major overhaul is reflected in that price. I hope the new owner does her justice. 👍
First sight of this boat I love it. She's got engine space to sell !! Inside, I could leave live always on this, though I love anything that is boat. The decor is superb,_ very resting , I love it. _ when would I get money to have my own !!!? Sail safe, please.
Build in The Netherlands. Shipyard 'De Vooruitgang' , located on the Steekterweg near Gouwsluis. It was the Boot family that started its first shipyard there in 1851. It grew into the most famous shipyard in Alphen. Alphen aan de Rijn is located in 'holland' (the province of South-Holland), one of the twelve provinces of the Netherlands.
A really fantastic boat built for reale use, not sunbathing in the Med. The first I've seen you show with a proper seagoing cooker with fiddle rails. And grab rails on the salon. The only downside is her relatively short range, it needs to be about 5,000 NM so that she could cross the Atlantic.
Thanks for the vlog , today are whe on the ship for a buyer from Italië. Greetings Erik & Diana . The next of your vlog on the Enjoy Life sea going vessel ? 😜
This is the most bad ass boat I've seen so far on these walk through. Sure lots if other fancy boats but this is just so thoughtful and practical amd amazing . I dream of owning an amazing explorer like this . Wow. Universe are you listening? 😊
this boat is beyond any boat I've been on. I hate to learn the price, Iam afraid I would have to have her , what an opportunity of a life time what a pleasure Thanks for the tour, Code Red please put the towel back on the fridge door thanks
Very interesting yacht and video. Truly one of a rare kind I wish there were more older steel hull boats like former fishing trawlers adopted and preserved as travel yachts. She could have a sort of auxiliary sailing rig (she can be heavier for her size) but this is a decision of her future owner.
Great hull love the single engine and engine room. Very solid ship for safe pen boating. The only surprise for its it's length, how little space was inside ths boat.
Thanks for watching! Don't forget to check out my website: yacht-buoy.com/
Just wow! Thank you. And how special at the beginning of the video that there was a rainbow over the bow of this beautiful vessel! 🤗

Now there's a place to get in and out of. I bought the boat in my comment on this vid in Strangford Lough.
Thank you! How much do you expect the exterior wood replacement to cost?

This thing has a ton of character, it must be an incredible labor of love.
Thanks!
Thanks for the SuperThanks! I really appreciate it 🫡
What a beauty!,the engine room is awesome, that Gardiner engine will run forever!
Brings back the nostalgia of a bygone era. Beautiful yacht.

Another amazing vessel.... Gardners engines are awesome!
The engine got my attention too. Lots of work topside

Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 🫡
Absolutely gorgeous vessel. One can tell the owner is very proud of his upkeep and maintenance. Very well done.
from the owner: thank you, i do appreciate your comment!
I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.
What a beautiful vessel with tons of charm and character. Well maintained and owns a very reliable heart in the engine room. High five to the owner of this absolute beauty. And thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching 🫡
this is by far the most beautifull ship on the channel!

*Yacht Bouy* She's a beauty for sure, thank-you sir for taking the time to show us around. GOD Bless.
🙏🏻
Beeldschoon beesie met veel karakter. Met veel gevoel en liefde voor het maritieme leven.
What a neat yacht. I thought it would have been crammed full of sailor's cabins, but it is a perfect family yacht with maybe 2 crew, or a captain and a deck/stew
Hope my Euromillions ticket tonight is a jackpot winner, That is a fine Vessel.
She’s gorgeous, but you would have to just constantly take care of it and rub it with a diaper. A Bering or CdM would be my Powerball boat.
My thoughts exactly !
“[Just find] the vessel,” made marketable?
Steel trawlers rule.
Lovely old boat but should have a wing engine when you may be days cruising from land.
Really like how you showcase these type of rarely seen yachts, never get bored with them.
You won’t ever need a wing engine with a Gardner.
@@crelark never say never ..
That is the most perfect liveaboard I've ever seen. Very nice.
Danke!
Thanks for the Super Thanks! It is very much appreciated 🫡
A cold beer, sitting in the engine room staring at and talking to that lovely Gardiner....I'd have to get rid of the misses or she'd interupt
😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha..star comment!
I was in the ER on 3 ships! I'm with ya.
I love it, and I love the gardeners they run forever
Everything looks so rich ,i would be proud to own this .
What a beauty to see. Thanks for indulging us with this eye-candy piece of masterpiece.
Thanks for watching 🫡
That looks like an awesome boat it would be an awesome boat to travel the western coast of Canada and USA and south America .
What an absolutely stunning yacht and a lot of boat for the money. This won't be up for sale for long.
If I was in the market for a yacht, THIS would be the one. Its got living space but hasnt fully ceased being a real ship.
Together with her Gardner engine, this is the nicest yacht you have featured yet. 👍🏻
🫡🙌
Even if I could afford this yacht, I couldn’t afford the maintenance, mooring, insurance and fuel, etc, etc...this is a dream yacht....cheers🍷🇨🇦
The 8L3B engine is a historic masterpiece of marine engineering

Such a nice boat, but I really wish this video was done with a wider focal length.
I love the look and character of classic trawlers. Thanks!
🫡🙌
The beauty on this ship is the old engine.
Very impressive...this would be a perfect small-scale expedition vehicle. There are many fjords just waiting on her to visit! Those two thrusters would make tight atol entrances much less challenging,
100%
Wow! Beautifully crafted vessel..
Always loved the trawler design. Beautiful traditional lines of a traditional sea going vessel, unlike the floating Mansions of many yachts nowadays.
Thank you It’s a boat to dream of, the engine room is superb..
My dream boat...stunning
A gorgous example of a proper small ship. What can I say, PERFECT!
No way does it really have a 53 inch propellor.
@@dreamdiction it does, I am the owner and I know better.

Great content and presentation. 🇦🇺 😊
Now that’s a boat! An interview with the owner would be interesting 🤔
from the owner: anytime, it‘s up to john. the author of the video.
I want this boat 😊
The swedish chef makes some cool boats who knew
beautiful
This is a lovely, proper little ship. Gardner is one of the best marine engine ever made.
I could easily live year round on that ship
Amazing boat... I can live in there for hundreds years! Unfortunately, I don't have money and hundreds years to live. 👍
this boat is beyond any boat I've been on. I hate to learn the price, Iam afraid I would have to have her , what an opportunity of a life time what a pleasure Thanks for the tour, Code Red please put the towel back on the fridge door thanks
😂 I did not think anyone would
notice 😂
Wow... It's a steal at that price.
In a word: FRIGHTENING.
My kind of boat.
Amazing beautiful boat. Niche market but a new owner is out there.
On wish list
What a beautiful boat 😍, if I win the lotto I’m buying it !

Does it haul on the bowline as all good sailers do when they’re far away at sea and they’re trying to find a screw?
Great hull love the single engine and engine room. Very solid ship for safe pen boating. The only surprise for its it's length, how little space was inside ths boat.
Never been on a double ender would love to take that thing for a week or two or six or eight
Beautiful, I'm in love.
🙌
I love this vessel is so unique. I love engine room.
gorgeous unit.
Beautiful!......Come on lotto ticket!!
Brightwork and decks need some love.
I always want to know, but am never able to find out, how much fuel (cost) to sail 200 miles. I know it’s very variable.
I really like this boat 😊
Outstandingly lovely well cared for, credit to the owner.
Beautiful ship
Ferry nice schip Beautifull engine room
really fine vessel i could happly live on that yacht
Thanks a lot for this nice vid ,congartulation 👍
