    I appreciate your point about "you don't know what you don't know." While it's true that you can find any information online, it's useless if you don't know where or what to search for

    Sooooo it’s a few takeaways from this.
    1. Investing into courses and your own education (w/o the need of college) can help develop self-enlightenment).
    2. Rich people aren’t always happy, and whatever image or facade they tend to portray on the internet amongst the youth cannot n should not be imitated nor worshiped.
    3. Success is in the journey not the destination!

      I'll probably make a whole separate video about this, but in the meantime, just know this: demand determines your dollars.
      The market doesn't care whether you like doing the thing; they care whether or not you can solve their problems. If you like solving their problems, you'll PROBABLY be better at doing so, but that isn't always the case.

    How do you have 160k subs with a low view count?

    • @LaviaBLI
      @LaviaBLI 4 месяца назад +6

      He is not consistent enough, he just started right now to be more consistent so the algorithm will take time for his numbers to go up again. If you look at Jordan a while ago you would see his numbers being up there so that’s basically it and my understanding BUT I could be wrong

    • @JordanGreenYT
      @JordanGreenYT  4 месяца назад +7

      ^What he said, but there are also a few other factors.
      1. The niche that I'm in (self-improvement) is predisposed to low view counts. For example, Teachingmensfashion is the only creator in my niche (that I'm aware of) that consistently pulls in 100K views per video. The caveat is that he has nearly 7 million subscribers. Hamza tends to hover around that range as well, but his sub count is also in the millions.
      2. Because I've taken a more general approach to self-improvement content, I've attracted various different audiences with various different interests. Some people have literally only watched my curly hair videos, and that's all they know me for. Same goes for fitness, NoFap, manifestation, etc.
      However, I have a core audience of 1-2K people who watch whatever I post, and those are the people I make my videos for.
      3. The majority of my newer subscribers came for travel content, and that was an entirely different demographic than my primary demographic. When I started posting self-improvement content again, I actually lost quite a few of those subscribers. The algorithm doesn't take that into context; it simply works with the response it sees from viewers.
      4. I've covered pretty much every topic there is to cover as far as self-improvement goes. This means that my content has gotten relatively repetitive, and that means I'll have less recurring viewers over time. Though I always make an effort to provide new/better value than the previous version of each video.
      I could honestly make a whole video about all of the mistakes I've made on RUclips that have led me to this point. If that's something you want to see, definitely let me know!

      @@danfoster6327 I can't say who is legit as far as the paid courses go. But for free content, I've been locked in with Myron Golden's content for a year or so.
