All 6 original A330s are still with Garuda today surpassing many younger A330s delivered after 2010. PK-GPA and PK-GPD still in covid cargo configuration, but not serviceable together with PK-GPC and PK-GPG. PK-GPE was reactivated in November 2023 while PK-GPF undergoes regular maintenance. Most younger A330-200s have been returned to lessor while these six originals should remain with Garuda for years to come.

I remember boarding a dc10 from Bali to Melbourne stop over at Sydney the plane still had the colours of the airline they bought the plane second hand from ,mars 1990 the plane was empty but I was accompanied by a big one litre bottle of whiskey , seeing the daylight far in the horizon while we were still in the dark flying over Australia ,that was magic.
