Its his ability to learn on the job, to not repeat mistakes, that makes him a baller. Hard to advocate for yourself with such an intangible skill. BYU is lucky he fell in their lap, and also to recognize that last year’s 0-4 quarterback could morph into this year’s 8-0 quarterback.

Jake is a wonderful representative of his faith, and BYU. He has worked himself into being a legit Big12 QB. I am glad he proved me wrong, as I doubted him before the season started. Go Cougars!

Great show and discussion. I thought Jake gave a great interview. He is grounded, a really good competitor, a true student of the QB position, and already a BYU football great! Stay the course GO BYU COUGS!

Is so true with the different diversity at BYU. You look at the players and there are all kind of players from all different places in the US and all over the world and countries. Players and coaches alike. To be it look like a true American teams with all walks of life players who are brothers!

Not sure I understand all the hype about him being a Jew. So what???? He is a fine young man and an excellent athlete, and he happens to be Jewish. So what?? I wish him all the success in the world.
