The one that really surprised me was Phil Spector (1965). If didn't see this list I would've thought the Stones recorded with more than 10 guitarists in close to 60 years. Great job!

oh really ? recently read it was Mick Jagger who came up with the riff for Brown Sugar - also that Jagger played guitar with Taylor on Sway -( Richards absent on Sway) - seems Jagger played on more tracks than realized - Keith apparently not a fan of Jagger's guitar playing

Amazing list, I had forgotten out a few of these folks, and was not even aware of the two "tech" guys. Also you mentioned Clapton as having guested in studio with the BEATLES and THE STONES , which is of course true and by my reckoning Clapton is the ONLY OUTSIDE GUITARIST TO APPEAR ON A BEATLES TRACK, playing guitar of course because we know Brian Jones played Sax on You Know My Name...it goes to show the the BEATLES WERE THEIR OWN SESSION MEN! Except of course the orchestral instruments the Beatles covered it themselves...thanks.

I didn't realize Eric Clapton had played with the Stones, although I knew he'd played with the Beatles. Perhaps the most amazing thing about that feat(playing with both bands) was the length of time in between.(48 years, 1968-"While my Guitar Gently Weeps"-Beatles, 2015-"I Cant Quit You, Babe"-Rolling Stones)

But I think Sister Morphine was recorded on the Let it bleed sessions with Ry Cooder on Slide guitar - I'm also big fan of Keith's playing on Let it Bleed - he really shone as a player on acoustic slide and electric on that album - it is his swan song

@@ClassicRockFilms Now that I think about it, Ry Cooder played Guitar on the Jamming With Edward album, which one could argue is not a legitimate Stones release since Keith is not present. There's also a bootleg of Brown Sugar with Slide Guitar which I thought was Eric Clapton but I could be wrong about that. I've seen Background Vocalist Blondie Chaplin pick up an Acoustic Guitar on some live video. Jack White played and sang Lovin' Cup with them in the movie Shine A Light. Oh yes, and Buddy Guy appeared in Shine A Light as well.

Jimmy Page also plays on Heart of Stone on the Metamorphosis compilation album and also Eric Clapton is not the only artist to record with both the Stones and the Beatles, Billy Preston also recorded with both bands, you should really do more research before you make videos like this dude!

Jimmy Page plays the wonderful solo on "Heart of Stone". I have found no RUclips videos of the Stones playing that live in1965. There is a telling video of the Stones lipsinging to the track. Keith has no idea where to put his fingers on the neck of his instrument during the solo. Contrast that to the live "Shindig" video of "The Last Time", where there is no doubt that Keith is playing what you're hearing. I've also read that Pageis on the track.
