Am I the only one that like the factory exhaust tips outlets better than this setup.. looks cleaner with oem setup… sounds good either way. Thanks for showing the dyno.

Absolutely. To each his own, but my baby is rockin'stock all day! She's almost perfect from factory. Only mods I will end up doing is probably different wheels.

Most cars have a factory cold air intake setup so unless you want more sound it will be a loss of power. In the install you can see how the duct is sucking air at the highest point, on top of the radiator. So no matter how hot the engine bay it will suck in cool air
yup, we were just testing the boostlogic intakes and it had no gains.
What exhaust you running my dude? Was really looking into these cars but decided to hold back on it cause of the almost non existent tunning options. Glad I came up on your video.
Just a slightly modified stock exhaust. Tuning is now available through Tuned by Loi!

So are these numbers at the wheels (which with a drivetrain loss of about 12-15% looks relatively OK) Or corrected to crank in which case these are way too low..?

Those intakes are going to perform even worse while driving, due to the elimination of the under hood ram-air style scoops in the stock setup.
So, it's best to just keep the stock Intakes??? What about the Gruppe M Ram Air Intakes? Those probably would be better. And also, the RR780 Supercharger for the RC-F wouldn't work in the LC500? That kinda sucks. That would be so cool if it could be made to work...

Where did you buy the hood
You should give us a video of the acceleration after the tune to show the difference between that and the stock tune!....How does it feel? Did you have Loi raise the rev limiter to something higher than the stock 7,300 rpm?
I may post another video this weekend. Rev limiter is the same, but he added burbles.

Perfect as a daily! Comfy, beautiful, reliable, and powerful enough.
The only problem with going e85 is that it's not flex fuel compatible. I couldn't find a kit that was.
Just replace the fuel lines, get a ECA, and get a custom tune from Loi and you'll be good to go for e85.
is there a tune for the 2019’s and will there be higher hp gains with full straight pipe exhaust setup with headers?

What would the theoretical HP increase from stock be?
hard to say, each car and calibration is a bit different. With all supporting mods I'd say probably 100-150 max whp from stock

They recommend hood pins but I installed without. Replaces the factory hood using oem mounts and hardware
Toyota needs to make the cars more accessible to tuning. It’ll actually boost sales and brand image. Like Audis are crushing it with the tuners and aftermarket following. Those cars are fast as heck with tunes!!!! For less than $699
Toyota probably makes it harder to unlock ECUs to keep their reliability metrics up. Any turbo cars will definitely be able to produce more tuning options/following as naturally aspirated engines generally are already tuned for optimal performance.
I'm sorry for my ignorance but lc500 can run E85 if tuned, can it run E85 without a tune. So much cheaper vs premium gas. Is there other things that need to be done to have it accept E85
it cannot run e85 without a tune. You need new fuel lines, ethanol sensor, and ECA.
What tuning software did you use?
VF tuner software and TunedByLoi for calibration

That's great, I am keen to buy a supercharger kit for the lc500 man am I waiting when are they gonna come out/ecu unlocked
ECU has been unlocked by OV Tune / VF Tuner. You can send in your ECU for unlocking like I did. BostLogic S/C kit is till in the works, I believe.

What we need is for the software that Loi uses just to be able to tune the dual fuel injection system that RR Racing implemented on their tune for their supercharger kit.
Their supercharger has been proven reliable over tens of thousands of miles now. I will say that Loi seems to be a better tuner, if he has the option to tune he could tune the RR Supercharger kit and incorporate the transmission tune into it would be the best of both worlds IMO

What’s the mpg with e85
laughable - about 15mpg regularly lol. It's much cheaper than 91 oct, better for the environment, and gives more power so it's worth it to me!

Its stock HP is 472...WHY SO LOW.
It's measuring at the wheels not crank so it's making over 500hp
is that 427 to the wheels, cause if it is than thats 500 to the crank with the tune. It might be to the 427 to the crank i have no idea, i doubt ,thats way to low it should make like 470 to the crank stock, thats definitley 500 plus to the crank nice bump for sure

That boost logic intake design is poor. Look at where it is drawing air vs stock.

Take her to another shop, the redline on a basic lc is approximately 7300 rpm he's way to conservative on the throttle and not getting good pulls. Your engine bay is filthy and the car is starving for air. The car is capable of much much more. The chick in the uggs playing mario kart tells me everything I need to know about this shop. Find anothet tuner!
