You clearly know nothing about mixing. That's just how it works, guitarists rarely know shit about good, mix ready guitar tones. So the mixing engineer has to completely fuck with it for it to work in the mix. Learn to make good sounds that work in a mix, then complain if a mixing engineer fucks with it
