Watching Aegon destroy Viserys' lego was very satisfying. He should spend more time with the kids and less time building this crap.
Truth. I feel like Aegon's time last episode and trying to having Jaehaerys sit on his council to learn(even if the boy was a little too young)was his attempt to do what Viserys never did with him.

1) there is age difference between show and books
2) he spends HUGE amount of time with all his kids in books , show just cut it out as boring empty scenes
3) he was extremely ill for years before his death, rarely leaving bed
4) he had very close relationship with halaena .. but bad with sons despite spending time with them, simply because Alicent brainwashed them into hating Rhaenyra 24/7 and constantly incited conflicts
and king hated when someone attacked Rhaenyra same as any quarrels in family
5)Its Alicent and her propaganda that made aemond unstable mess with murderous rage attacks toward innocents and aegon into childish psychopath obsessed by blood
show barely scratched it but all princes are raised by her to be worse than good old joffrey and 2/3 useless + stupid and completely unfit to lrad anything
Aemond is atleast somewhat capable and smart despite his flaws ( he actually respect and idolize Daemon trying to be same as him = you could say they are both little bit insane in same way )
Royals raise children vis proxy. Rhaenrya was raised mostly before her father became king so he was able to spend more time with her.
I want a son for a son. Is the exact logic that fueled the "I want an eye for an eye" sentiment, just compounded. Resentment and justice can take twisted forms(if left unaddressed) and often turns the victim into another perpetrator.

Daemon isn't obsessed by power , he constantly tries to prove self to boost his ego and never have enought
book show this way better because
1) Daemon was orphan raised by older brother since 3y old
2) Rhanyra was as heir when he was 15
Matt Smith portrayed him well .... but he is way older missing the point of young arrogant prince obsessed by proving his worth to older brother who in practice acted as his father
Daemon is not obsessed with power like you say. He was ready to go back to pentos and live in exile after Leana's funeral. He stayed cause Rhae asked him to.
You asked for "Aemond Targ" without any discussion as a queen and grieving wife... He went and did what he thought was right. Now you can't put all the blame on him

Aegon is not empathetic to the people, he wants to be *liked* by the people. That is a big difference. His actions are for show only. Which is a horrible start to a rule.
I am team black and Helaena is the only green I feel empathy for she felt so bad for Helaena loosing her child.
I wouldn't be so bad on Daemon, as ruthless as he is, he love his family in his own twisted way, and he would win Harrenhall for the blacks in the next episode, a key strategic location, for Rhaenyra.
i like team black but they are making them very boring this season. team green, being the villains are more interesting and compelling to watch.
Tbh this is the precise reason I’m very strongly Team Green. I don’t exactly wanna align myself with Team Black when they bore me half to death. Even the characters there that I do like, I only do so mildly. I have no strong feelings towards them, and don’t particularly look forward to their scenes.
By contrast, Team Green is just way more fascinating and complex to watch. Watching their dynamics unfold, their relationships to one another and even to their own selves, how they navigate their way through this dysfunctional, broken family, each one more alone than the other… way too juicy. I can’t help but be captivated xD
I want to see more character from Team Black, truly… but the show is so obsessed with making them morally superior that it becomes stale. I hope that improves though. There is potential on both sides, and so much talent all around.
I still have questions about Aemon. Why is he still angry after he & Vhagar killed Luke & what revenge is he after before Aegon's heir is killed? He has his revenge already. Anybody?
Yes, the show is painting team black (not red) as the protagonists vs the antagonist greens. The greens aren't fit to rule (in the show) at all. None of them. The blacks are better suited at this point (Daemon aside) despite some inherent issues (women as ruler-inworld-acceptability, etc.).
Daemon isn't after power for sake of it. He just wants his own way on everything regardless of who's in charge.
Only one problem: Rhaenyra needs Daemon more than he needs her.
Daemon’s life may not have been perfect, but he can go off and do whatever he pleases.
Rhaenyra, on the other hand, is heir to the throne and therefore, she can’t escape the struggle and is likely to die without him.

Can I make a suggestion Trixy? It's kinda frustrating watching your video when you "join in" the dialogue, answering every line that the actors say with three of your own, especially when most of the questions you ask get answered 10 seconds later. It would be better to let each scene play out, then pause the video and discuss it once you've seen what "journey" the scnee takes you on. Then do a recap at the end with your thoughts on the whole episode.

you completly miss understood Daemon... He is literally the reason why the blacks have a chance for the throne... If he really wanted the throne, he would not have raised an Army for his brother ready to usurp Rhaneys if she became queen. he could've easily killed his older brother or rheanyera if he really cared for power... He knows Rhaneyra is weak just as her dead was and. you said it your self you want vengeance if someone took one off your own. Thats literally what he dead, he didn't care it was baby even though his command was Aemond. once War started for him , his nature is to wipe out the the WHOLE bloodline of the enemy.. Im with him.

rhanerya is a hypocrite and terrible queen making daemon leave his family from pentos to bring them to dragonstone to come protect you than you get mad at him for preparing to take back your throne he even asked to take out vhagar with melys which would have won them the war instead rhanerya just lets the greens build strength and dismissed her strongest asset daemon. Than she sends rhaenys to die and doesnt even care for baela since she sends her out while having jacerys stay back.

Daemon is 15y old when is Rhaenyra born ... arrogant prince raised as orphan by older brother obsessed 24/7 in proving himself to his brother and himself . later to Rhaenyra doing all kinds of rushed and reckless deeds along the way
he also constantly cheat on her but never question her as heir
keep in mind that book version of Daemon also directly order assasins to kill kid and repeatedly sleep with underage Rhaenyra
and lets not even remind Laenor slaughtered on public with no tricks and escapes as we see in show
show tries to avoid avoid most of controverse topics around him
you can say book version of Daemon by constant chase for approval from someone he respect
