    I really enjoyed the camera from the boat. It is like a ride along with go-pros, but even better because the view is not distorted.

    I will for sure look at the last minute many times for next time on the water; flying the board consistently is not that easy so very thankful for those tips . Wow.

    Great video! That was my biggest problem at my last vacation in Soma Bay. With increased back leg pressure and the sail closing the gap I ended up with a spin-out.. But for me it felt fast as hell 😂

    Nico, you really caught me at the part: keep the load in the harness (lines). In gusts I’m taking the load too much in the arms. Why better keep the load in the harness? Only to be able to windsurf for longer that particular day? Excellent video btw!

    Thank you Nico! Lots of windsurfers have issues with going in the back footstrap on these kinds of boards. Looks like lots of us are doing something fundamentally wrong at the beginning before we start planing. Can you make a video on that also?

    More back foot pressure with the tip only for the the railing and making the board fly. This is what I need to try to make the board fly which I don’t get that feeling around 22-23 knot. Do you thing I get that if I did, and what’s the actual speed for board to make it fly? Thanks

    Hi Nico, could please explain what do you mean with lifting the heel, do you mean pushing with the toes?

    • @JonassTass
      @JonassTass 10 месяцев назад +2

      I think he means that you need to pull up on the heels, if that causes pressure on the toes then yes nut you should think of it like pulling up on the heels not pushing on the toes

    Great video as always. Now I really understand why i hit the limit of speed. But now I have 1 question not related to this video, but to the obe that was about your story of windsurfing. I began to learn faster and my father wants to film me, but at the same time he wants to stop windsurfing and I really dont want that. Any tips how to keep him in the sport?

    • @123loreni
      @123loreni 10 месяцев назад

      Hi wajfarut I think yes it does apply for FSW as well because every board is not flat because of the weight of the sailor....

    Just wondering about board width vs top speed. I can’t get past 38 knots despite being on a 50 wide speed board. Whilst my 50 wide board has higher average speed, my 55 wide slalom board has a similar top speed. Where I max out, others in my sailing team are hitting 40 knots on wider boards than I am using. There are so many variables and I have tried to not change too many things at once. An on water coach is the ideal scenario ..... are you coming to Australia any time soon ? Hope to be in Europe July 2025 but can’t wait that long to crack 40knots 😅

    I struggled to get my slalom gear fast. Until I changed to a seat harness. Night and day. I can hold much bigger sails, put so much more pressure on the fin and let the board fly. I don't know how you guys can do it with a waist harness.
