You seriously need to consider putting in the commerce industry on your colonies. That is how you will pump the colony profit beyond what any other industry can do. Also, as a general rule, I only put story points into improving my commerce and patrol hq/military hq, and only use Alpha cores in those two industries and to run the colony.
At least you now have a reason to end a faction Timo ;) Also you really have to raise relations with the queen up to 50 or more to allow you to give the ice cream to her, you have to hand in green cards and keep doing her bounties to help raise the relationship bar high, just keep doing her tasks, and lastly you need more planets to give you vredits because the Royal November ships are atleast 600K+ to a million credits

you should try out the Modern Carriers mod, there's a bunch of carrier specific unique thing like making you only have one wing per fight but it's super powerful, or having extra bays, or changing bombing tactics etc etc... seems perfect for this playthrough!

I go away for a few days and our good Admiral has managed to acquire another Fleet Command Carrier, numerous Alpha A.I. Cores, and has colonised a secondary Capital World for the Union. Marvellous. Now, to business. It would seem as though our Industry World is still in need of a proper and more permanent name, and though my absence has prevented me from doing my advisory duties until now, here I am nonetheless to fulfil those duties. For one, we should note that this Irradiated World is serving as the cold furnace heart of our Union, a great cauldron within which a cryocomputer is constantly optimising the manufacturing of Union Fleets, the very same fleets protecting Shian. But that's not quite enough for a great name, so, in recognition of our original flagship, long since lost in the days following that first tragic excursion into Remnant Space, I propose that this world be called "Kalt Edel". Though, of course, I would be remiss not to offer alternatives. To that end, I set before you two more names that would make a fine fit for our Industrial World. "Borealis". A name synonymous with Aurora, once more showing our ties to our sister faction, the UAF, while still reinforcing the idea of a frigid world upon which wonderous things are produced. "Steel Harbour". Fitting for a world whose primary concern is the production of starships and machinery, overseen by advanced A.I. and bolstered by a technological marvel in the form of the cryocomputer. As always, the final choice is, ultimately, in the hands of our good Admiral, and the hands of those of us who seek to advise him on matters of the state. I wish you fine starfaring ladies and gentlemen.
I'm wondering why you have yet to use a Transverse Jump to escape a warning beacon system from it's outskirts, instead of trying to dodge certain doom to escape through a jump point at the last possible second. Now don't get me wrong it makes for some tense watching, but the risk is insane!
I told you to watch out for the frickin' Remnants :). I am not sure if there are good strike crafts that have a lot of shield pressure, but if there aren't the best solution (w/o losing a lot of your fleet) would be probably to go with some fast and furious destroyers with TONS of shield weaponry. And then some finishers.
He could have simply micro-managed his way through that battle and had no losses, but @Timo has made it clear he *enjoys* letting the AI handle it and just sitting back to watch the spectacle. Damn fine spectacle it was too. Remember, if you never lose a ship then there's no challenge, and if there's no challenge then where's the gameplay, right? Timo's already setting himself extra challenges for this series, and I'm loving it, just sitting back and watching, much as I suspect Timo himself is.
About the queen's gambit item (the ice cream :D), it requires a special conversation with Aeria about november's fleet access, just keep asking her about the access and you will get the option to give her the ice cream as distraction :D I'm not sure what the requirements are for the access, but its probably just high affinity with her and some chance....
Time to roll. Big ships And more dakka, aircraft only won't make it nomore if it goes wrong in certain fights, sinced you'll kinda need alot of fighters to accommodate this game style
It was evenly matched, and with no fleet contesting the invasion ground force probably got space support, may have turned different if you made it back & removed the space fleet out before the invasion finished
Oh, and one more thing, Timo. You said before that the series is finished when you *build* the Novaeria dreadnought yourself, on your planet, not buy it from the queen!
Instead of selling off all of your metal and ship parts for a pittance you should've just given it to your irradiated world's stock pile to help with the demand and boost rebuilding speed as they are waiting for supplys.
Are you planning on getting... the novaeria cause it might take you some time? Also its not a coincidence that all carries end with *nia* its intentional.
Lots of creators massively misunderstand the stats on how many of their audience are subscribed, etc, etc. It is understandable, given most people are not professional statisticians. The unaware look at something like only 20% of views being from subscribers and think as you do "Oh gosh, 80% of the people watching my vids aren't subscribed. I need to nag them, (even though I already ask them to subscribe in every episode so if they were going to be persuaded, they'd have been persuaded)..." This is simplistic, and misses what is really happening. What is really happening is that your viewers, just like you, make up their minds pretty quickly about whether or not they want to subscribe. But RUclips's algorithms are working to help you grow by showing you to many, many, many more people than your subscribers, such that for every one of your earned, loyal subscribers, RUclips are showing one or more of your videos to 4 times as many other folks. It's extra exposure and a real opportunity for growth. If you ever find your percentage of views by people not subscribed is dropping, this is a worrying sign of stagnation, of growth opportunity slowing. I mean, if it were the other way around, where 80% of your views were from those already subscribed, that would mean hardly anyone new was being introduced to your stuff to maybe become a subscriber. High percentage of views from non-subscribers is great, it is what you absolutely *want* to be happening. It means RUclips and its algorithms are loving you, actively pushing growth and exposure for you.
No I completely agree with you, you're right, and I'm not worried about it, but my stats are also showing me that I have people who have watched every single UAF video so far and not subscribed, and that's fine, they're obviously getting fed it anyway. But more often than not, according to what I've been told from inside creator circles and the like, when people keep getting fed content from a creator they forget that they aren't subscribed, as it almost feels like they are. Those are the people who the 20% Call to action was targetted at, just those who hadn't realised :D Appreciate your input though! CTA's are proven to work across all forms of media with a huge increase over the lack of :D
