I have the same rifle. Really like it. I have reloaded several loads for it to try out. That being said, hornady whitetail ammo shoots good through it too.
Curious if you have shot any deer with that ammo? I picked up a box of this ammo at Family farm & Home and have used it for target shooting but I'm wondering what kind of penetration it will have?
@@931livin8 you can't go wrong with the 127gr lrx. I'm getting 2800fps plus and 1/2 moa from my handloads. They like Hodgdon Superformance powder in my 6.5 Wby Vanguard. Just be sure to take a direct shoulder shot if possible for best results. Barnes lrx, TTSX and TSX are constructed to penetrate heavy bone and hold together.
Sweet group for 150 yards. Really enjoyed the ending. :)
Thank you sir.....thanks for watching
Beautiful land.
Thank you
my kind of video. 2 minutes. gets the point across and leaves me with a laugh. 10/10.
Thank you

Thanks for the info. I'll have to try them sometime.
That S&B is good, I have used their 6.5 140gr soft point and it performs well; MOA or better @ 100 meters
Yes, I'm a big fan of it.

No I actually picked mine up a few months back. I think it would be fine for the deer as long as the placement was good.
that is a target round. not recommended for deer. good for coyotes and other varmints.
@@robertlandrum1876 you are correct would not be my first choice. I just rezeroed the Barnes 127gr lrx for deer season.

you can literally see the table move every time you bump it... lmfao
Yeah, definitely not the most solid rest. Makes me think how much better it would do on a solid bench.
