Just thank you for sharing your life with Todd and Glamour and Paulie. It lightens up so many lives! And since I've been watching you, I've become much more aware of using consistent word and gestures with my cats. And also am more aware of what they're trying to communicate with me. Thank you so very much!
I'm always so impressed when Todd puts 2 or 3 words together in a new way to express something he doesn't have a single button for. Like when he used "belly" and "mad" to tell Dad that he had a stomachache. I wonder if he'll figure out that putting "noise" and "settle" together would be a way to say "too much noise, quiet down." I'm starting to think like Todd now. 🥰😅
Maybe he thinks Dad is being too loud and smelly for Todd’s fine establishment of upstairs parlor. It takes prim and proper dress code and the right atmosphere, don’t ya know. LOL 😂
Well, after all, Todd is dressed in his finest Tuxedo all of the time. At the very least, Dad should not come in with barn smells on him to foul the atmosphere. Lol !!
I've been watching your channel for a while now, and just realized that I was not subscribed, so I have remedied that. Your videos have helped me better communicate with my cat, though I don't have the buttons. I'm not sure my current cat who is 9 years old wouuld learn the buttons. He doesn't seem to see himself in the mirror or watch anything on any screen when I've tried that. I know he understands most of what I say, and since I retired a year ago, I have become more adept at understanding what he's asking for. We actually understand ech other mostvof the time. Long ago I had a female calico who, I swear, thought she was human. This post is already too long, but the stories I could tell of her! She was certainly smart enough to learn the buttons, but I don't think they were available 35 years ago or I wasn't creative enough to figure out something similar. I love watching your videos of Todd. He is, indeed, a very intelligent cat. You've been so patient with him, teaching him only a couple of new words at a time once he's demonstrated understanding of the ones he has. His use of words describing more abstract concepts (before, later, inside, outside, etc.) and his use of multiple words to communicate a complex thought indicates that his button-pushing is not rndom at all. Well done, sir. ❤
Billi from Billi Speaks (sadly she passed away earlier this year) was an elderly cat when she started the buttons--she was 12 I think. If your cat shows an interest in communicating with you and is particularly vocal, he might be able to learn the buttons. I want to try them with my cat, too, but those buttons are a bit expensive!
Watching Todd and his videos with you his awesome hooman and his beautiful siblings. I remember my Hendery while seeing Todd. They could have been identical twins!! He was one of my feral babies and a bigger tom ct chased my little boy and he wad hit by a car.💔💔💔😿😿😿😿😿He wss as smart as Todd!!! Thank you for al of the videos and for showing and sharing your love for your fur children!! You good sir are an inspiration 😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻
The brushing must feel so good to Todd. He sure likes the ability to request his preferences and is confident of the affection that comes with the interaction. Smart boy!
Todd made me laugh when he pressed that noise button 😂😂😂 He took his job as a noise inspector very seriously!! BTW, I don’t understand why some people still don’t believe cats (& dogs) understand our language & can communicate through buttons. Todd is proof that our furry babies certainly have consciousness & souls just like we noisy hoomans!!
Good evening 💜 I have to be honest, I laughed a lot with Todd's honesty... 😂😂😂 noise... noise... 😅🤣 Todd loves being brushed.. 🤗 and I love it when Gamour shows up with her meows 🐈⬛🙏 happy and so well-treated cats... thank you very much for the wonderful Father you are!!! 🙏🙏 I wish you all the best... 🖤💜🤗☮️😍😻
Yes, I equate it to people when they chew on their pen or play with their hair while thinking. Billi, the cat, would press a button and yhe circle her boars while she was thinking.
You get the brush out, and Todd 'melts' into a black and white Puddle. Glamour is more of a "Catch as Catch Can' sort of Brushing. (And she feels no need for FluentPet buttons, as long as you will respond to her audible 'Commands.')
Todd does not stay grumpy long lol as for Glamur shows been way mode contact seeding and brush and petting seeking then befor so seems her medication helps😊
Well Dad! You woke me up - why!?😂 Noise as Todd knows all too well, is any sounds not made or approved oneself😅 Really Dad? And who smells?!😊 What smells?😂 As I'm awake I may as well get a brushing please - now! And Glamour so loud too, just a quick brush-by please Dad❤❤😂😂❤❤ What a lovely conversation!❤❤❤❤
I think your phone's noise bothered Todd and he's telling you about it. The noise probably woke him up, disturbing his nap and he might be irritated. I know I'm irritated when someone comes into the bedroom and makes a lot of noise when I am sleeping. ❤
Think about this for a second... Todd is multilingual... cat, human (specifically American English)... i wonder if he could learn to communicate in say... Spanish?
Right now Smell is anything good or bad he notices. Cats do use bad smells; there is a cat named Russell who uses the word Litter when his box needs attention. When he's pooped to give everyone a heads up, the smell is coming, and hilariously as a curse word when something happens, he doesn't like it.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalksthat is hilarious, I wonder if the humans say 💩 when something happens happens and also for 💩 in the litter box and he linked the two together and is using litter button because he doesn't have a 💩 button?
Was he saying you smelled like the outside and needed the brush for yourself as a grooming/cleaning suggestion? Since that is how kitties clean themselves?

I'm glad you are here and found the channel. I would not want to apply scent to the buttons. I want Todd to push them because that is what he wants to say not because I have encouraged him to press them.
You are noisy and you smell, but since you woke me up I might as well get brushed. 🐱
Or suggesting dad could use a brushing 😂
Ha Ha
Todd is too cute! 🥰
Oh man, when your cat greets you by complaining that you're loud and you stink! 🤣🤣🤣
That’s why my cats don’t have buttons 😂
@@cjlive5182 Right? If my cats had buttons they'd be bossing me around even more than they do now. LOL
🤣
Cats don’t do unconditional love like dogs do. It’s a given that your cat will always be judging you, with a very high standard.
Cracking up at Todd telling you to stop the noise and then saying you smell. What an intelligent and fun cat.
Glamour prefers a drive-by brushing.
What a true and oh-so sweet comment. :-)

Dad may be noisy and smelly but he's still good for brushes!
Well at least that noise-button works..... Very important thing for the New Year's Eve.
Oh yes, last time there were fireworks Glamour hurt her back. Maybe warn them about *noise *outside *later.
Glamour's "drive thru" brushing made me laugh ... one lap around the buttons is enough brushing for her.😂

He has no problem announcing his opinions. ❤ I hope his paws are better
Todd learns his buttons so quickly and uses them well every time! "Noise" to describe the phone alerts was perfect. And he really enjoys his brushes.

Once again this proves that Todd is expressing his thoughts and doing much more than simply seeking reward.
You're loud Dad and you smell. But you can brush me ❤
Todd totally doesn't mind Glamor getting brushes. He's too sweet!
LMAOOOOOOO
DAD: ***just existing across the room**
Todd: **YOU SMELL**
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's his house; you're just living in it.
I've noticed that (where possible) Todd presses buttons with his left paw. Interesting that it isn't just humans that exhibit "handedness."
Agreed, and most male cats are left pawed and females are right pawed.
Most male cats are lefties. Most females are righties.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalksI had no idea! I will have to watch my two females and one male now!
I've noticed that too. Todd is left-pawed.

The argument is that they only press the buttons for rewards, but Todd doesn't get any reward for commenting on the noise or Dad being smelly.

I want to hug and kiss Todd. I can't wait to use my 2025 calendar. I can see Todd everyday. Love it.
I'm so glad you like it!
He's so precious! I hope you're healing up nicely, Dad.
Thank you Happy New Year’s Eve Eve!!
He ALWAYS stretches before pressing the first button... even pets have habits! 😆
Yes, I equate it to people when they chew on their pen or play with their hair while thinking. Billi, the cat, would press a button and yhe circle her boars while she was thinking.

No, due to requests, I am including Glamour and Paulie more in the videos.
@ oh, good. I love seeing them, too.

It causes increased smiles. :)
😂🤣😂🤣😂 you interrupted my nap dad! 🥺😂🤣💞
Todd is so sweet giving you kisses! Love you Todd😘😘
I had the volume up too loud and startled myself on the last video. I can totally relate to Todd😂🎉😸🤗
Poor Todd the noise woke him up.
I love how Todd woke up n looked at dad,
Glamour wanted her screen time too😾
Lol, while he's yawning and stretching ❤
‘Noise’ then yawns! 😂

Perfect oppertunity for a: "Dad outside smell" response. Come on lazy dad!
Wonderful episode! Thank you all! 😊❤
Aww❤
What a smart boy! ❤
Lol! Todd was going to press "Hello" and "Noise" but then changed his mind.
Dad! You woke Todd up a! Shaaayyyme!
Sheesh! That was noisy even on my side😊
Todd is so smart 😊
"Smell" lol.
I wonder what Todd would do if it was Paulie instead of Glamour getting brushed. 😅 Love his "Noise" that made him get up. ❤
(except that wouldn't happen because Paulie is frightened of brushes, and that hands have to be empty for him to not be afraid.)
Thank you.

Todd: "Hey, I'm sleepin' here!" 😾😂

You can't hide anything from Todd! Lol!

Dad, couldn't you wait to come back in until after OUR mid-morning nap was over.

Heh heh!! Dad, you're making noise and you smell. :)

Hi Dad and Todd. Todd amazes me everytime. I love how Glamour walks and meoes
I wonder what my cat would be telling me if he had buttons??!!0

Todd: Dad, STFU
Dad: Ur so smart
Todd: You stink.
Todd is just working efficiently, 1 he said stfu, 2 you stink, go take a bath, two problems solved.
What do I smell? You tell ME dad!
#Noise
Maybe Todd needs another button "Aroma" for good smells, and save "Smell" for bad smells. Or "Odor"?
I'm not sure cats have a concept of bad smells. Given their grooming methods, I certainly hope not for their sakes.

Hi Todd
Hello!
I'm sick and couldn't remember the name of your channel and today when I opened up YT there you were like a gift! Hope your recovery is going good.Todd is so smart and cute. You should rub some Tuna smells on his button that says yhungry or treat or reward. You could dip a q tip in a Tuna can. There sense of smell is fantastic so it doesn't have to be a lot. If you subscribe, the channel will pop up all the time for you. Change the bell to solid black for all notifications. Get well soon.
I wonder if he said “hello” cause he knew the noise came from the phone and some times you answer the phone by saying “hello” 🤔
I don't think so. He just woke up from a nap and I was there. We often greet each other with hello.
Did Todd reject the new puzzle box?
So sweet.
