And Caitlin did this from a three point line that is further than when Steph set the single season 3pt record at Davidson. And just remember, Clark isn’t just the nations number one scorer, she also leads the nation in assists. Don’t hold it against Caitlin that she didn’t accomplish anything because she did it against women. The career points record in D1 was set in 1970. That means no player, female or male, touched it for 54 years. And some pretty good players have been through college since then. Add that to the single season 3pt shots made record that Steph set was in the 2007-08 season so that record is sixteen years old. These records have been just sitting there for any player to take a run at them. Well, Caitlin Clark did just that.
There’s nothing wrong with women in sports. There’s nothing wrong with women setting records that better men’s records.
Her low 3pt percentage against PSU was an anomaly. But she did snag ten rebounds and hand out seven assists. Pretty good game it would seem.

@@GeorgeGlass1975 If you look at the men that 3 pointers. They take a much higher percentage of 3 point shots within 3 feet of the line than her. Her percentage of deep 3 point attempts compared to her 3point attempts closer to the line(1-2 feet) are higher than NBA players.
