As someone thats always lived in missouri (stl and suburbs stretching all the way to lincoln county area) i like that all the highways connect in ways that nothing seems to be more than a 45 min drive at most... Even now I've moved to the Illinois side of the river in Edwardsville.... I drive to mid rivers for work and its still barely a 40 minute drive... The highways are clutch
Good job as usual. That was a good idea to talk about the differences between the two zip codes.
Thanks for watching Shonte! Yes the zip codes definitely are a difference to know about!!
Always look forward to your content. Thanks for the videos and keep them coming!
Thanks for watching and giving your feedback! Made my day to read that.
i live in chesterfield i love it
So glad to hear it! I love living here despite being farther from the city life
Thanks for the info. I'm new to the west county (Chesterfield/Ballwin) area... Looking for a local coffee shop, the kind where it's comfortable to sit with a laptop and work, or sit and read. I can only find the kind that are grab and go (e.g. Starbucks, Kaldi's) or the kind that are restaurants/diners. Any suggestions? Or do I have to drive into the city to find one?
I do like Kaldi’s - the one in the valley not the small one in Ellisville. Aside from that I don’t have any go-tos in Chesterfield but there are some cute places on Main Street in St. Charles or upshot in Cottleville if you venture out that way. But there definitely aren’t too many west county coffee shops that match the city vibe that I know of.
The valley has exploded, I lived close to the mall in the early 2000's and it has expanded so much based on the images in the video.
There’s a lot that has changed and the mall redevelopment will add a lot of new growth!
chester king...love it
Hahaha funny right??
Are there plans for high rises and/or 30+ story buildings in Chesterfield?
As far as I know, nothing that tall is planned. All of the latest hotels, apartment & condo buildings are 4-5 stories maximum. The Chesterfield Mall redevelopment will have more plans for mid-rise buildings. I don't know exactly how many floors tall they will be, but based off eyeballing the renderings I'd say 5-10 stories max
If you want anything that looks like a an actual city, go to the actual city or Clayton.
moving there in june!
That's so exciting!!
WHAT ABOUT RENTAL HELP
If you're looking to rent an apartment the best person to contact would be the leasing manager or property manager at apartment complexes you're interested in OR the listing agent for any single family rental listings you see online
chester any cool mid century modern ?
Yes! a few neighborhoods for mid-century homes in Chesterfield are Wyndemere Place, Meadowbrook & country ridge
The fact you guys are touting Chesterfield as a “good suburb” is laughable.
To each their own! :)
No Chesterfield is not the #1 suburb. Wrong. IMO Webster Groves is. I live in neither.
That's fair. The #1 ranking was just from one website based on data, but all the ranking sites have a different "#1 suburb" they recommend
Chesterfield... the very definition of "Generic Suburban Sprawl"
Absolutely *nothing* in this area is unique or historic; filled w/ McMansions, chain restaurants, outlet malls and interchangeable office buildings
I can't argue that haha
