I find myself lying. It was Mother’s Day and this girl was talking about her mom. She asked me about mine. I didn’t have the heart to tell her she was passed. Sometimes you just don’t want to explain. Take care of yourself. You are strong, and beautiful. Safe travels ✈️❤

It's called jumpseat therapy. Sometimes it's welcomed and sometimes, like your situation can be difficult. I hope that you're doing better. I lost my mom just over a year and a half ago and some days can still be hard. Thank you for putting up your last video of Pup's graduation. Kacey I can't tell you what an inspiration you are to me. I hope what you have been through is by far the hardest challenge you will face. I did not know your wonderful sister except what was shared here on your vlogs but I feel as though I did. Her effervescence filled the screen. I'm so grateful you have chosen to push on and live your life as best as possible. Hang in there young lady the best is yet to come and you deserve the very best.

Some advice regarding small talk with the flight attendants: Have a pre-planned response to common questions for small talk so you don’t feel as flustered on the spot when bringing up topics about your family, husband etc. For example if someone asks if you have siblings.
I know it can be so tough when losing someone and bringing it up in small talk (if at all!).
Do not be worried about bringing up the topic of your sister though. It might actually be nice to share a bit about her to strangers. It’s a reminder we never know what someone is going through ❤❤❤

One day after putting new flowers on my sister's grave, I was in line and a lady ducked behind me and said "I don't want my sister to see me". Couldn't help it but blurted out, just visited my sister at the cemetery. It just comes out sometimes. I'm sure I made her feel terrible!

Kacey, are you able to claim hotel points for the nights you spend away, or does the airline’s contract with the hotel / hotel group prohibit that? I just imagine that you’d get some pretty decent perks for the number of nights you typically stay away…
Some hotels do let us get points but most of the time no. It’s nice when we can though!! If we got points for every hotel stay I’d have so many by now😂😂

My brother died unexpectedly three days after my birthday this year. My birthday will never be the same. My parents has apologize because I didn’t have a birthday and my birthday will never be the same. I am a teacher and I went on emergency leave for three weeks during my brother illness and funeral. I never told my students why I left so sudden and they are sweet kids and they ask about my brother.
You should prepare a backstory for such moments. That way you aren’t triggered by such memories. I have a very rare medical condition and when people ask anything I say I can’t tell them. Then their imaginations go into overdrive. They think I have been in prison or am under cover. It’s all more interesting than the reality.
Hi, David. Good advice for her. It can't be easy. I too have a rare medical condition, EDS, along with a LONG list of others that come along with that. However, in my case, because I look and act 💯 percent healthy, people think I'm either lying, or lazy. That's tough, because I have no intention of advertising anything!
@@donnabaardsen5372 Mine is super rare, in fact the specialists say I am the only one in the world with my particular solution to my condition. Statistically a doctor unless a specialist will not come across any similar cases more than once in 120 years, and mine is even rarer. Still fun to watch people try and work it out. The basic idea of a back story is so that you aren’t blindsided by such questions. Just work out a plan long before needed, so that Josh is aware of it, and doesn’t spill the beans.
