Lots of sand fleas in Honduras so pack steroid cream and i recommend purchasing insect repellent there. The OFF deep wood didn’t even work to repel the sand fleas. It takes weeks to heal from the bites. Despite the sand fleas, Honduras is wonderful country with beautiful water and beaches. You will love it there!

Out of curiosity, at check in do they note if a passenger has a hand carry with them? Also upon boarding, do the workers at the gate check or know if you didn’t show that you have a hand carry at check in?
