Here’s a tip for sensitive ears when wearing costume jewelry: paint the area in direct contact to your skin with a coat of clear nail polish or whatever nail polish color of your choice. Of course, gold or sterling jewelry is always the best for sensitive skin.

I absolutely agree that packing cubes are a game changer! I have just two from Tripped plus their liquid bag, the toiletry bag, and the rectangle sized bag, which I used specifically for flip flops, my swimsuit and swim gear on a Summer trip. I was used to packing folders before the cubes so I still fold clothes as if I was going to use the folders. It works very well but next trip I'll try rolling the clothes instead. I'm also a carryon only type traveler. The last time I checked a bag (2007!), it was delayed, and since then carry on only☆ Funny you mentioned The Housemaid series. The last trip I was on, the person sitting next to me was reading the second book, "The Housemaid's Secret". I've yet to read it but it's on my list once my library gets it on the shelf from another library. I should probably get a Kindle I know! 🤣

Being conscious of safety and security is important. I can't stand when some people are either completely naive about it or dismissive and want to ignore it.
Aside from storage space and backlighting, I think one advantage to having a Kindle is that everyone can not make their judgments about you by what you are reading.
packing cubes are the best, I don't roll up my clothes through I fold them flat and it allows me to put more in them, plus they don't get wrinkled at all

I can relate to being sick in bed, not from a cold, but from extreme leg and rear end pain that lasted a month and then again 2 months later for another 3 weeks or so.
Ther's somethin going around, I just got over a cold. Drink lotsa orange juice and hot beverages.

For your earrings get surgical steel posts. My daughter and I have the same issue. It’s the fake/plated posts that cause your ears to become sore and inflamed.
I have very sensitive ears, I use sterling silver and it really helps.
The one thing that some hotels have (not all) is a library. So when you finish a book, you can put it in their library for someone else to read. If they don't, I leave the book in the drawer for someone else to read.

I travel with compression packing cubes. I bought mine on Amazon also and there two sided, so there great for long trips.
Paint the ears with clear nail polish were it goes inside your ear so it isolates the material from your skin.
Btw. If you pre pay for the parking garage through the airport website it’s considerably cheaper. Not sure if you knew. So, perhaps pre pay for the day that a renter is expected to return the car back to you as the start date. Not sure if they have monthly passes or not…..

Hi Kacey, You look great! Tip for skincare: Lots of water, not too much coffee! Substitute lemon water -- a squeeze of lemon or lime (fresh) in a glass of water. That'll wake you up! Coffee is not unhealthy, but I notice that too much coffee and especially coffee everyday single day (and worse, with creamers, synthetic creamers, etc -- milk, even organic, has hormones and chemicals) does not sit well with my energy levels or with my skin. So now, I drink coffee maybe now twice a week and enjoy it more.I sneak in a tall HOME-MADE latte macchiato once a week with pumpkin spice (bought online -- and I do have actual pumkin in cans for special mornings). Or, an espresso or a cup of good ole carburetor-cleaner set-you-hair-on-fire truck-stop black coffee. Mmmm. But not every day, several times a day.Took about two weeks (of fatigue hell) for my energy levels to even out after cutting down on coffee, but after that I had more energy than ever before and clear skin. God bless! (PS, A friend complained of digestion problems. He was fit -- marathon runner -- ate healthy, he's french and almost a vegetarian. Out of the blue I asked, "How much coffee do you drink?" He paused and said, "Oh, ONLY about 9 or 10 cups a day, mostly from the coffee machine or coffee house...." He stopped doing that and his digestion cleared up in a month...).
I love getting food from Costco food court hot dog 🌭 and a drink for $1.50 you can’t beat that price

Do compression cubes make the weight more than the allowance, since you can pack more? As a flight attendant you may not have the same restrictions as passengers. I don’t know how that works.
It can be as heavy as I can lift 😂 I never check bags but if you’re checking a bag it can be 50 pounds!
I am with you about ground floor rooms in hotels! Not my deal at all. Also the Amazon earrings that affect your ears are probably loaded with nickel. Many people react to it

I have the hardest time with cheaper earrings. I do find if it’s a pair I don’t wear every day, I can put clear nail polish on them and they help some for short periods but if it’s something I wear a lot I have to have the real stuff and that makes my anxiety go through the roof because I’m afraid of losing them. Thanks for always sharing your trips so we can see so many new places for those of us who might never see them in person. ❤

You might be allergic to cheap metal. 14 karat gold is better because it's hypoallergenic.
You could have contact dermatitis from the nickel in your Amazon earrings. Ask a doctor. Stainless steel is the type of material you want in your earrings. Here in CA we had another cold front come through. We have snow on our lower elevation hills. It hailed at sea level yesterday, Friday, and Thursday. It's been an interesting winter, weather wise.

I’d be willing to bet you are allergic to nickel. Most cheap jewelry is nickel based. Wear a cheap ring on any finger for 24 h and see if you get a rash or red line where the ring was. If so, make sure you list that as an allergy on all of your medical files.
Kacey never seems to go swimming? She goes to great beaches, but never any video of her at the beach! If she can’t swim, she should let the fans know! If it is a privacy thing (lots of people don’t like to be filmed in their swimsuits), it OK to let her fans know - although we would be able disappointed!

I used Turo for a trip last year - the prices or the fees for airport pickups were INSANE, so we paid $20 for an Uber to pick up a Turo at a car dealership. Ended up saving $75 that way.
