Hello Sagar, i'm just an amateur chess player, but i love this game. I usually enjoy your channel. Thank you for this summary...Maybe, Pragg could be the winner: let's say Pragg and Firouzja. Young chess grandmaster are so impressive today...Among the women, i guess the chinese players should have the best chances. Surely, it will be a great event. Greetings from Italy

I am really excited about this event. Will be following your coverage, if available. I recently started following live chess events and discovered that they are much fun. And this is one of the major events in the chess calender. The candidates. And ofcourse having three Indians is also one of the major attractions. My only complaint or grievance is that there will be no Nodirbek in the tournament. I really wanted to see him battling others, including Pragg and Gukesh.

Gukesh and Pragg are very exciting to watch! I expect them to take surprising wins but overall to finish in the bottom half due to lack of candidates experience. Fabi, Nepo, and Hikaru are the top 3. Alireza/Vidit/Prag preforming in the middle. And Gukesh and Abasov near the bottom.

I would love to see The St. Louis Chess Club host an American vs India Tournament, a serious tournament, but maybe more about building camaraderie between the two groups of players. Maybe have a double round robin with 6 top American guys playing two games each against the top 6 Indian guys. Same for the ladies. Lots of great talent and good people on both sides.
