This was so helpful! I am thinking of switching from an all in one to something like this. I would love to hear more! Also, previous math teacher who loves books but yes, LA is overwhelming for me. 😂
I completely understand!! I’m so math-minded. LA is tricky for me but I just have to give myself grace. It also helps me realize that I don’t have to put so much pressure on covering everything. I’m an adult and I struggle with this! when I don’t know something I look it up and learn about it. I’m just hoping to teach her that same desire to learn and the ability to find what she’s looking for ❤️ We are learning together!!
This is great! As I’m here planing my daughter’s language arts for the next school year I’m definitely trying to put it together myself and trying not to get overwhelmed. Any additional tips or even a walkthrough of a lesson would be great! Thanks for sharing!
I’m so glad this can be helpful. I shared more details about one of our weeks/daily lessons on my Instagram account recently and saved it in a highlight. I couldn’t really put it here because it was mostly photos. But definitely check that out! It’s a closer look for sure!
✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼 this was so helpful. Adding to my rewatch list. We recently dropped our AIO LA as well and want to do more of what you so wonderfully put together. Love it!
What grades are your kids in ? This is so helpful, my oldest didnt need the early stages of a LA program and is very asynchronous learning in LA so this approach looks like a better fit. Would you do a video on how you do lessons on the carious aspects of LA?
Yes! I’m hoping to share more about our lessons soon. I’m so glad you’re interested! My oldest is 9 and she is the only one I do this with right now. Once my second daughter is reading more fluently I hope to do something similar!
@@shelby5623 I think you mean this one. Let me know if I’m incorrect and I’ll check again. goodsensorylearning.com/blogs/news/literary-devices-free-handout-and-link

Love this and would love to hear more!
Yay! I’ll be sharing more! So glad you’re following along ❤️
Another really nice resource for this is the reading journal from Not Consumed. We are combining that with Fix It! Grammar this year.
@@ChristyLile oh thank you! I love hearing about new resources! Can’t wait to check that out.
@@simplylearningtogether651 They have Elementary, Middle School and High School levels. We are using the Elementary and High School levels this year.
This was so good for a Math loving momma. I want to do this but wasn't sure how to organize it. Thanks for sharing the break down.
Oh I’m so glad it was helpful!! Hope you’re able to try it out! I’d love to know what book you read! ❤️

I’m so glad this was helpful!! We have enjoyed this so much more and I hope you do too!
I really enjoyed RAR podcast on teaching LA without a curriculum!
Yes! I’ve heard that one and love it! It definitely inspired me in my planning!
Do remember what episode? Was #196?
@@breynolds7196 yes! I just checked. That’s the one.
