I don't really have a set price for it bro.. it's more of whatever you think it's worth. Your supporting the channel so I will be grateful no matter what.
Man I got a story for you... hahaha one guy sent me like 5 bucks and asked for two songs back to back that totaled in like 29 minutes... I was flabbergasted
Haken has slowly worked themselves up my list of favorite bands - now there is no doubt they are no.1. Haken just does it all so well. Amazing, underrated band that just delivers and delivers more than anyone has the right to ask of them.
I loved this song from the very first listen and also teared up on the final chorus. The way he sings “I remember” is just so incredible and really makes me think of nostalgic, fond memories with old friends and family members who aren’t here anymore. Great vid man👍
This song is based off of The Elephant Man Joseph Merick. He was part of a "Freak Show" as they were called to make a living in the 1800s. Which is also a theme of Haken's first album Aquarius. Which "I remember" the quirkiness of the album in this song. So it is a bunch of homages to past influences and saying never forget while also remembering who you are.
Man what a concept. I can't imagine the life that poor man lived. This track was drop dead gorgeous. I laughed, I cried, I wrote a dream journal.... I did everything with this track. They are masters of the genre of epic yet heartwrenching
Great react! Arguably the best song on the album, definitely the most epic! Favorite part for me is the sequence of tracks 4 through 6. Or maybe just the whole thing from start to finish🫠
This song was a slow burner on the album.. I immediately fell in love with Nightingale, from the first listen, but now Elephants is also among my favorite Haken songs! I love the journey of this song and how it connects with our reality. This is a quick video of the band talking about it : ruclips.net/video/wQRI68oYPwI/видео.html ( they did it for the entire album) "If I should fail in pleasing you Could I create myself anew? Would I be measured by my soul? Could I be treasured in your home? Take me!" This is heavy shit...
Hey bro!! Very fun, funky, elephant song!! I can see that Opeth vibe on the guitar for sure, this reminds me of a mix between Australian band Toehider especially the song called what kind of creature am i, and some Opeth after listening.yes i cant help but think they got some inspiration from Toehider for this one.
Dude this album is a must listen. Geez.. Had a few tracks written down for you but heck, there's so much more you have to hear haha! How can people choose? Hope things are better friend, or at least not worse? I have so much i need to tell you really - waiting patiently for this one though!
I am very pleased with their direction. Imagine them going FULL prog and leaving their old style behind except for the riffs 🤣 it would be glorious. I'll have to listen some more for the Haken inspired parts though 👌
@@stevecampbell8152 I think it's the janky piano driven verses musically that is reminiscent of The Ectopic Stroll but the atonal vocals it's Gentle Giant through and through. Honestly, I think you're both kinda right :)
We feel something similar in music and emotional language. Props to you for sharing your response to the world. Peace to you, bud. Now do a reaction to Devin Townsend. Specifically, Deep Peace.
Hey Greg! Thanks for watching. I'm glad you can relate. Not many can or do anymore. I have heard a couple things from Devin but not that. I'll add it to the list :)

But obviously don't set me up either... 3 bucks for a 20 minute song ain't happening.🤣🤣🤣

Very Gentle Giant-ish. Glad you're enjoying the kind of music. You should really look at Three Frends ou Free hand from Gentle Giant. Masterpieces...
You are so right! I love Haken because I love Gentle Giant.

I know man there are so many choices and such little time... I feel your pain! 🤣 yes, not worse. I'm doing OK at the moment. I needed it lol.
Phenomenal song dude. Absolutely. Phenomenal!! 🥵
110% agree my friend. This was just flat out spectacular. It moved me to tears by the end. They are too good...
@@L33Reacts Think I’ve been listening to these since like 2008/9 bro, still coming back 7 albums deep like 🥵
I'm preaching to the converted, but I honestly think Haken are the best band on the planet right now. Nobody touches them.
Imo them and BTBAM are tied at the top
Bro casually with 2 of my favourite albums ever in his background
Great song, great reaction
queen, gentle giant, tool-- i hear all three in this song
I wonder have A7X been listening to Haken, I know they're very different but then, ....there are moments.
I am very pleased with their direction. Imagine them going FULL prog and leaving their old style behind except for the riffs 🤣 it would be glorious. I'll have to listen some more for the Haken inspired parts though 👌
Bro I get that you're a btbam fan, I am too but not everything sounds like them lol. They actually take great influence from gentle giant.
🤣 that part literally sounds just "the ectopic stroll" by btbam. Just a comparison to that certain section. The song overall is very much GG and Queen
Gentle Giant written all over this!!

2:10 samus aran, Metroid vibes?

Don’t sleep on Taurus or Sempiternal Beings.
Haken is love. Haken is life.
Check this out, it's Elephants Never Forget guitar playthrough, soooo gooooood!
