I have Note Pro for one year and I'm quite happy with it.
Tablet has it's issues, but still I find it great help for taking notes
    at work and for learning.
For technical and scientific papers is to small though. I already bought
Max Lumi and waiting for delivery. For me game changer is light. I
study at night or in the early mornings and don't want to bother my wife
with light. It is a shame that Lumi is black, not white.
Back to Note Pro, I bought straight ahead case with a convenient handle
on the back and a magnet, protective foil and pen (original is so small
and crappy, I use Wacom UP-817E which works fine, little less precise
but bigger, Intuos pens do not work).
    Biggest disadvantages are:
    * they promised Android 9, but after one year still android 6. No split
screen for apps, which is huge disadvantage if you eg want to do notes
from e-learning paltform app or website,
    * in split screen pdf + side notes you need to tap on the left or right
side before you start writing (!). It seem that only one side has a
focus for writing. It is so annoying. Plus unprecise pen and literally
    side notes are unusable.
    * pen is not precise (even if you put a lot of effort to calibration
with original one). Taking notes for pdf's is painful,
    * it weights a lot, it is hard to lay on back and read with hands above,
    * surface is more like on smartphone not paper (but still better),
    * drains battery fast with wi-fi on (which is always at home),
    * it is black, which distracts from a text.

Awesome! But it's glass, which is good, but whats the best way to protect a reader like this if you where to drop it on the ground?
Im just thinking some good cover, but might read up on protection for glass screens. You would not want to drop one of these or let they slip out of your hand by accident. ;) I can imagine the screen breaking easily but not sure. I have dropped my phone a few times but it's still working and the glass screen, but that's like gorilla glass, not sure what kind of glass this one has.

Guys this devices get cheaper in the future if more and more people buy these things. Some politics in different countrys already think about using them in schools :)
    My question to EBook Reader:
How heavy is the batter drain while standby and especially while taking notes?
Normal Ebookreader have high battery times but with the acreen refreshing everytime i write Something i habe doubt about that. Can you give information on that?

OneNote is not designed to work with E Ink screens so there's a lot of lag, but apparently you can sync notes with OneNote.

just got mine, and the writing experience is not as good, all the lines are glittered like pixelated, there's no smoothness. Am I missing a functionality? Or is there an app I should be using?

    • @evolve101
      @evolve101 5 лет назад

You must be missing something.. Does it work good now? If you export a document though bluetooth that might happen though, not fully sure, i have not tested more then once. Do you mean when you use notes? It should be smooth..

What are the horizontal lines on the screen? They don't seem drawn by the pen. ruclips.net/video/ASYlLCROscw/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/ASYlLCROscw/видео.html? I wish he mentioned about the lines on the screen.

I don't think it matters, Google Play apps don't work well on this device. I have the Boox Max 3 which is supposedly an octocore and it fails completely running anything apart from its out of the box original apps, well, apart from the Kindle app.
