@@hussainmahmoud7881 the onyx has more features . But I it wasnt that big enough for me to let go the writing experience with the mimas. And is all about and software updates. So mimas could keep adding everything that is missing. Other then that I love reading on it and I could split the screen and read and write at the same time. But you should wait because the likebook lolita is coming out in a few months wich is like the mimas same company but more powerful. If you cant wait go for the mimas

hi there ! I'm a phd student, and looking to buy a e-read. I need to annotate pdf very often, but in none of your videos I saw the option of adding notes to a pdf like I can easily do with my computer and adobe reader. like a sticky note. Is it acheivable in any e-reader ? And I preferably want to type it, not write it by hand. Is it the good way to go with these kind of e-tablets ? (I saw in many of them I could put a notesheet aside and take note with the pencil, but its not exactly what I'm after.) ! thanks for advices ;)

Is there a better option for some one who dosnt need full Android support, but with the same note taking capabilities like the Onyx Note Pro? Basically looking for something in the $500(CAD) range rather then $700(CAD) for Onyx Pro that I can use to edit/ take notes on a PDF file.

There aren't any larger models in that price range. There's the smaller Nova Pro with a 7.8" screen that's basically exactly the same as the Note Pro. The regular Note without a frontlight is the cheapest 10.3" model at $449 USD.

Note pro price is 689 $ in EU (Amazon) ! That's a lot . On alibaba it's 380-410 $ for the same product . That's almost 2x the price , and I don't think it will sell well at this price difference .

Not going to happen. Likebook's software isn't close to the same level as Onyx's. They need to fix their software before releasing new models. Based on using the Mimas, you'd have to be crazy to choose the Alita over the Note Pro.

@The eBook Reader What do you think of rewrite epad and supernote a5, I have tried remarkable for 6 month but I am seeking a good reader with good stylus. I have tried Boox note pro after your review and it’s very good for what I need. But due to big investment I want to make sure if it is right one or I need to wait for eras or supernote

    • @TheeBookReader

The Note Pro is by far the best option, in my opinion. The software is the most well developed because they've been working on it longer. The newer models still need a lot of work in the software department.
