  • 'A Bond for Life' traces back 20 years of my life as a James Bond fan - from the first encounter with Bond in 1996 to the world premiere of 'SPECTRE' in 2015.
Shot in seven European countries, including at original James Bond locations, the film takes the viewer on a colorful journey through the narrator's fateful and challenging times.
In addition to Bond experts and fans from all over the world, guest stars such as film composer David Arnold, actresses Nikki van der Zyl, Luciana Paluzzi and Martine Beswick as well as songwriter and Oscar winner Don Black, production designer and Oscar winner Sir Ken Adam and actors Mads Mikkelsen and Götz Otto will share their experiences with James Bond.
The result is an entertaining fan documentary with an important message: You can achieve a lot if you believe in yourself and learn to stand on your own two feet.
The proceeds from screenings in Germany, Spain and Switzerland benefited UNICEF emergency aid in Syria. “A Bond For Life” is the first feature documentary of its kind made by a James Bond fan.

Mr Broccoli really would be proud his movies have that much ( positive ) impact, be it for millions of people or the one individual ! This especially since he himself lost his beloved ( second ) wife Nedra Clark in 1958 to cancer, and he also had that click to make Bond SPECIAL. The magic of movies is the magic of people.
    Greetings, Tom, Belgium.

    Excellent job on this documentary!
Perfect combination of your own really interesting personal story with classic Bond locations, cast members and moments.
    Beautifully directed and produced too!
I think most of us fans can relate to a lot of what made you a fan because we all have very similar stories.
In my case my first exposure to Bond that I remember was a big one that they just never do anymore
a 007 TRIPLE feature - Goldfinger Thunderball and (I think) Dr No.
Yes - back then they would actually do that kind of stuff!!
It’s also pretty interesting that at the age of 16 you made your own Bond fan film because when I was 16 I wrote and drew a bunch of Bond style comics featuring me and my friends as a Team of Spies! lol
I bet all of us fans celebrate our Bond fandom in our own unique ways.
It’s easy to see that you obviously worked very hard on this film -
and it really felt like your own personal tribute to what James Bond has meant to you and the enormous impact the character has made on your life.
    Terrific work!!

What a lovely and endearing documentary. Very well paced and edited. So much fun seeing clips of your fan film from the teenage years...very similar to my own effort I called "Ace of Spades" (1992) I made with friends when I was 16...although without the benefit of glamorous European locales :) Bravo, sir!

Oh yes...I converted the film to DVD in 2011 because the original VHS copy was falling apart. :) God, I'm old ;)@@TheBondBulletin

Congratulations about your Bond's work!. It's amazing to see others Bond fans, geeks like me. In 1985 I 'd filmed a Bond's Tribute called: "I hit your lips only"
    A Super8 hobby film
Mixed with a Betamax sound track video tape.
Greatings from Spain and remember: Practice makes perfect!
May the 4th be with you... Bye😊👍👌👋👋👋👋

Finally got round to watching the whole thing. Thats really brave of you to share your life like that from your early history to now as that does take a certain maturity and confidence so thanks very much . I loved the effort of the song put together and the music video too at the begining aswell as going to all the locations where Bond has been.
Its defintatley a step fro what you did last year on the anniversary documentary . all the best and keep it up :)
