Listening to him ordering gave me PTSD from being a server. Customers like these are a nightmare. There's meeting a customers needs and then there's being demanding. This video says a lot about his personality.
He's an elite level aging bodybuilder who needed things a certain way based on his ability to digest and motivate his appetite. He was very respectful and polite to everyone he talked to. And paid for it all. I don't think he went about it the wrong way.

Kinda seems like a meal that's completely unnecessary to order for room service. You automatically get charged a service tip. And most people don't know that so they double tip. Hotel I worked at was a medium size place and room service guys were taking home around $1500-2000/wk. Summer conventional season they'd pull around $4-5k. I covered someones shift for a day an made near $400. I didn't even do much.

I know Victor's paying for the hotel and all, but he's really being a pain in the ass for a lot of people. A little bit of understanding that you're at a hotel and people won't read your mind, a lot of that food will go to waste too. Having a little bit less perfect meals for a few days won't kill you. Being a cook is already a horrible fate, dealing with a guy who calls because his oatmeal isn't lumpy enough isn't going to make anyone's day. Extra points if someone had trouble with HR because they added a yolk to your omlet.

Much respect M&S you guys really go above and beyond this sports reality.
I don’t think victors a bad guy or an asshole as some of the comments insinuate. But I do feel he actually has difficulty communicating and isn’t really a people person lol. Aside from that dude has a great physique. He just needs some adjustments in the way he communicates to others. Some of this may be a mental thing, some may be upbringing. People are way too hard on this dude though lol. I think it’s the band wagon effect. One person says something and all the sudden everyone’s outraged about it.
I feel like the better way is to explain to room service that you are an athlete and require a very specific diet, and simply give them a list of ingredients in weights, with flexibility on salt, spices, and water. I think when room service lacks context on why a person is asking for 80 things it lead to resentment.
M&S don't take the comments personally. Being consistent and dedicated to your passion/hobby/career/whatever it may be is rare to find these days. Victor is really "dry" no pun intended, but it is nice to see someone so dedicated and strict to their nutrition. Is it fun to watch? No and that's where the comments come from. I found the cheat day video interesting to see what his definition of cheating is compared to others. It's not the most exciting video ever, but saying you need to take it down is excessive.

@@muscleandstrength i completely understand the level he is competing at and the sacrifice and diligence it takes to monitor all his food intake. with that said... it is probably best to show him prepare his own meals to his level of satisfaction rather than show the viewers that he placed not one not two but 5 calls to hotel services to get his order correct to his standard. the hotel he is staying at is geared to the average customer not elite athelete. the perception of most who watched this video illustrate that victor was portrayed in a less than ideal light. the fact that ms even highlighted the number of phone calls he made even displays ms surprise that victor was going to that level. at the end of the day, an elite athletes following is critical to his success. i think if anything you made the public question their support of victor. at least you did of mine with this video.

*I never order room service! It is way too expensive. I'd rather walk down to the restaurant. Some hotels include free breakfast with your stay. But, if breakfast is not included, then we usually just drive to a Denny's or IHop.* 🍳🥞

Why? He was very polite and respectful to everyone he spoke with. Bodybuilding nutrition is more complicated than "Eat XYZ". Especially at Vic's age. You have to factor in digestibility and appetite.
