  • Dr. Peter Corkeron, a former National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) scientist and, also formerly, a Senior Scientist at the New England Aquarium. Dr. Corkeron faced enormous pressure during his time at NOAA, to not document and generally suppress concerns over the population management of North Atlantic Right Whales.

He is one of countless scientists who have come to PEER to help us push the government to do a better job saving species, habitats and ecosystems, and to recognize the seriousness of the extinction crisis and to act accordingly.
