Huge respect for coming to Abu Dhabi to support your good friend Max! I had goosebumps when you screamed into his radio when he crossed the line to win
I'm really happy you've gotten the opportunity to do cool things like this recently. Seeing you and Jimmy Broadbent taking things out of the sim and onto the track, and sharing the experience with the community is greatly appreciated.
They open the circuit to the public during the week (or used to), I rented a bicycle and rode around it, I was surprised by the elevation changes, they're not apparent on film.
Commentary on the race aside, the changes they made to this circuit have made it so much better. Getting rid of those stupid chicanes make this track far more entertaining.
Also I don't know if anyone else noticed but a lot of the corners especially in the last sector are off camber and it seems like it makes it harder to race side by side, I'm not exactly sure though
I get to live through you vicariously. Being 6'5 245lb... I can't fit in cars like this nor could I ever be a competitive cart driver. You keep being awesome and letting guys like me experience what we could never in person through you.
Gotta be honest, when your GoPro turned sideways I was like, "Oh, shit, he's binned it on the straight!" In all seriousness, that was a super fun vid and I can only imagine how much you must've been enjoying yourself. Cheers!
I wouldn't be able to hold back the excitement. Driving around the track, karting, jet skiing, and quad biking in the desert, then a drive to Dubai in a McLaren. Crazy.
Dude! I’ve been watching you for like 2 or so years and it’s crazy to see how far you’ve come! I love seeing you play gt and then seen you go cart and now to see you drive on f1 track is crazy!!! Keep it up man! If you ever make it into F1 one man you will be the driver I’ll be rooting for! Thank you for all the great content!!! Keep being freaking awesome!
Man does this look like an absolute blast. Proud of you fellow sim racers getting chances most can dream of. This is about as close as Ill ever get (ok maybe a pitpass) but this is something else. Excellent video and thanks for this journey
I'd like to put some stock down on Super GT. I've watched way too many videos to not know he's going places. He's come a long way from playing Forza to the Gran Turismo tournament, racing Lewis Hamilton, McClaren GT3, pro karting; I mean come on. I want to invest in this man.
Steve, that was awesome to watch! We live vicariously through you mate, what an experience! Thanks for all the great content you put out there, your success is well deserved. 👍
Thank you for your service Alex! Donating your time to rubber in the circuit in preparation of the final lap so that max would have the extra grip he needed to pull off the dive into the hairpin. Also getting into the radio to congratulate him, your a true hero
The driving of that formula car was amazing and looked like you had fun testing the brakes. However i think the highlight was the lunging attempts in the karting.
I haven't commented in a while, just wanna say, Steve, you've been putting out banger after banger with the videos! Good shit bro, thank you for the top quality content!
Stuff like this always reminds me how insane F1 actually is. Not just the speed they go at, but their mental capacity to listen and chat on the radio whilst battling hard against each other. Great video!
Looked like a great experience! As somebody who has driven an open-wheeler in Zandvoort...it feels so much faster on track than going in a "normal" Sportscar (Porsche, Mclaren, etc.).
What a holiday for Steve, supercars, f3000, karting, jetsking, quad biking and the rest! Your so luck but loved the video as always Steve. Lots of love
This is pretty insane, and I am glad you got to do this! Aside from f3000 and its crazy growling V8 engine around a cool track, that cart racing looked hella fun. GG Man GG
High rollers for a weekend! Congrats Steve, looks like big fun and well deserved. My heart stopped for a second when your camera came loose on the Yas circuit. Thought someone Mazepinned you.
This is absolutely surreal just watching it (edit: This guy is out here living his best life, karting, jet ski-ing, quad biking. Looked like you had a blast out there.)
Ha! There were more lunges in that “race” than in all of the Gold’s gyms in the year 2021 🤣. So good to see my favorite sim racers get out of the office and enjoying some epic adventures irl.
Congratulations man ! I love your videos and I thing that I actually learnt more than a couple of things about driving from you :) This must have been an awesome experience, boy those cars. And of course the karting race was going to be balls to the wall literally.
Love this for you Steve! Must have been a great time, the F3000 experience that is. The multitude of Jaegers, well I think we know where you stand on that subject… 😂
Freaking sick you got to ride the track!! I know that nostalgic feeling all too well.. reminds me of the time I got to take my bike around Laguna Seca for the first time here in California... ohhh man!! And experiencing that corkscrew for the first time.. 😬😬😬
From a Busy with work 48 year old Aussie that's green with envy, of both your good self, and Young Jimmy lispy boy Broadbent, well done and Kudos. Keep it up you guys.
Huge respect for coming to Abu Dhabi to support your good friend Max! I had goosebumps when you screamed into his radio when he crossed the line to win
and he'll be back in f1 next season as well! youtube takes you places
Yeah it was aboslutely unreal seeing him there!
next year Steve in Williams 💯
did he really do that? did he scream in the radio? I'm gullible like that
@@naikjoy alex albon did🤣 its a joke

Get in there Mate. That’s sick!!!! Also been loving the consistent content lately Steve! Thank your for that!
Thanks mate! It was an amazing experience and glad to hear you're enjoying the content! Cheers.
Cool to see Max Fewtrell. Never saw something from him again. He had speed and talent. Cool dude.
They open the circuit to the public during the week (or used to), I rented a bicycle and rode around it, I was surprised by the elevation changes, they're not apparent on film.
Can we drive our car there
Would love to try one of the new ariel atoms there.
“Wow, mega lap. Where did that come from?” - Michael Masi, probably.
It came from the special FIA magic rulebook
@@GTRlove7 yeah it only appears when Micheal masi is alone 😂

@@GTRlove7 There’s no other explanation, I can’t wait to see what else Michael “The Magician” Masi pulls out of his sleeve next year

I wish that I could watch you guys pushing each other and cutting corners like a madman.

Must be a new update or something
Except apart from the championship winning overtake, racing was pretty poor this weekend
@@ey7290 that was because of dirty air™ lmao, but this weekend's race was way better than barcelona lol
@@okamileek006 Hopefully with the new cars it will be 100% deserving to be the last race on the calendar.
Most likely not but let's hope.

Kart race was clean by Forza standards.
I found that portion of the video so hilarious

Oh wow Yas Marina in a F3000! I can't wait to watch the rest, this is gonna be awesome.
Mate its so nice to see how much your channel has grown huge respect!
Can't imagine what it must have felt like to experience that, only a matter of time until you get to drive a modern spec F1 car
