imagine getting sent out into your first NLS race with no mirror a rubbing tire, and GT3s all around you. what a drive from jimmy to keep his shit together and put those laps in. id be freaking out.
Graphics on modern games these days are scarily realistic, it's literally like real life. Back when I was a kid in the late 80s early 90's we'd be lucky to get a Microsoft computer or a Sinclair/ZX Spectrum (a little 8-bit computer that was released in the UK in the 80s, tonnes of fun with a lot of games on it). I would love to play on it again someday to see if lives up to the memory I had at the time as a kid. I'm honestly gobsmacked on how technology has advanced so quickly since the 80's and 90's and the kids of today don't appreciate how good it actually is now because we live in the digital-age lol.

Especially lighting, and simulations (like from water) are lacking, and due to the computation power needed for better lighting and simulating stuff, it will be for quite a while. But yes, stuff like textures and with things like Parallax and Raytracing, it gets better and better.

We know where they all started.

Years of watching you drive this same track in Gran Turismo, and suddenly you’re driving a real racing car in Nurburgring, overtaking cars, pushing to the limit, what a treat! Awesome to see you all having fun despite the difficulties. Lots of big shunts but the falcon team and everyone worked hard to keep it on the track!
This makes me happy beyond words. I've been a subscriber for over 4 years and to see what you've done with your career is just incredible. This is just the beginning of so many special things to come.

Jimmy was hit by a car that spun directly in front of him with not much space to the left or time to react. Misha on the other hand.. I’m pretty sure that first wreck was driver error, braking while turning is my guess + the bumpy undulating part of the track.
@@chrissorreda4982 I can not imagine that being a mistake by Misha. It was crazy how quick the back of the car went with no chance to save it. Misha drives this track the whole year round, he wouldnt misjudge a corner/breaking point like that. Pretty sure it was confirmed that there was oil on track.
The stamina and skill required to do this is definitely no joke awesome race guys The black falcon guys are incredible that the car can get fixed so quickly to continue the race

@@jorhop4005 Page 44 of the technical regulations (unless there are specific changes per class that I didnt catch): "The original air conditioning may be removed.#" AC is running by using parts of the power of the engine, so disabling it would allow for more power to be used on speed. Removing it alltogether can save between 10kg to 20kg, which is around 1% of the weight propably.
ac i think is not even properly working if you drive it hard on the ring if i remember from driving touristenfarten and that was not even fast with my road car 😂

I thought Jimmy was the underdog driver here - Misha with all his experience on the track, you in carting and 200 laps on GTSport. But he did bloody well in difficult conditions, as did Misha overcoming the grief of his disaster on day 1. Pleased for you all.
No he's not really. Jimmy back in the days did hundreds of different cars around the nordschleife into his leaderboard. He has PLENTY of experience driving around the Nurburgring in the sim
