- My first ever NLS race at the Nurburgring Nordschliefe. A very tough double header of two six hour races. It would prove to be a very difficult weekend from start to finish.

We’re all proud of you Steve!!!
Congrats Super GT! You killed it out there, super impressive
in this case i allow you to speak for me :D
imagine getting sent out into your first NLS race with no mirror a rubbing tire, and GT3s all around you. what a drive from jimmy to keep his shit together and put those laps in. id be freaking out.
The start was outrageous up until the hit too
Its very special to see this video. Years of watching you drive this same track in Gran Turismo, and suddenly you’re driving a real racing car in Nurburgring, overtaking cars, pushing to the limit, what a treat!
Awesome to see you all having fun despite the difficulties. Lots of big shunts but the falcon team and everyone worked hard to keep it on the track!
Your racecraft is amazing, that move at around 16:20 was epic. Can't wait to see how you guys do in the next race.
Clean respectful driving as expected.
Congratulations on your team's P3 win (with a flat tyre to boot)! Here's to winning more races in the future. Cheers! 👏🍕🍾🚗🥉🏁
despite all the setbacks you guys had, y'all manage to still power through and make it to the end
a big congrats to everyone!
Well done steve!! Well deserved p3. Were all proud of you
16:23 Serious stuff! The stamp was licked!
1:21
Oh boy the Bilstein ladies didn't look very pleased.
Man you pulled off some killer moves Browny
From Xbox to Playstation to Real Racing. Enjoyed the journey of watching you grow in your career. Very inspiring. All the best to you brother. And thank you for all the amazibg content. Hands down my favourite RUclipsr.
Hey Steve,
Been watching you since the Pandemic.
Thank you. Thanks to your expertise, I’m consistently in top 4-6%. On leaderboards on GT, without much practice.
I hope to share the track with you one day.
Much love from Miami.
-John
That was awesome even though some inconveniences happened, you guys did really well. The overtake with that aston martin was beautiful.
Im a big f1 fan and im learning every day something new, ive been following hamilton and verstapen for a long time but to see this happening is on a whole different level. A huge thank you to the pit crew aswell
I was cheering you guys on from the marshalpostst, Saturday from the GP strecke, and Sunday from MP 61 and 71 later on. Wonderful to see how far you came!
All three of you guys were great, you keept it together despite all the incidents, great race!!! This was actually more interesting than the movie Gran Turismo I watched last night 😁😁😁
Amazing overtake on the white bm. Loved that one
Great Race!
AC on low costs you at least 5hp.
All 3 of you would be a perfect fit for the Bathurst 6hr.
Incredible stuff, get in there Lewis. All the GT experience helped pull off that overtake
Congratulations on your first nls race!!! Also just something I thought of. Whenever you pass someone especially on a straight seeing the rear view camera of them might be a nice touch. Congrats again love ur vids.
Yesss the NLS videos are here!! Amazing work Steve, Jimmy and Misha! great racing and congratulations on your first NLS finish :D
Seems like the practice from the 200 laps of Nurburgring paid off!
I watched this stint of your live on YT and you were on it Steve. Apexing spot on in almost all corners, it was precise and fast, impressive. (From the MX5 Supercup grid). Nice work.
Overtake at one of the sketchiest places, that fast left kink uphill.. Eep! .. James Hunt would be proud. :)
Excellent job and great race! You are a true race car driver now and great job bringing up the sponsors frequently. 😊
Love your cool head and consistency
Its a miracle mischa didn’t bin it like usual .. congrats
Laying on my belly kicking my feet smiling
Nice racing, props for not sending anyone into the shadow realm 4 money! and thanks for the 60FPS video.
Steve is living the freaking dream!! Great work and congratulations to you!
This is just a guess but it looks like as Misha was coming up to the corner while going over the crest of the hill the rear end of the car got light and locked the breaks up causing the car to go around.
Amazing stuff Steve !
Congratulations ! Which position did you take?
You have come far! Im so happy for you. Great content, and unique comented pov vids. Awesome.
Substantial hit, but odd for a mirror to come off.
Solid driving from you!
By far the most handsome of the three. Great driving Steve, super proud of you.
Wish you best in races ! :)
It's like a Grp4 race with Grp3 players on same race. Amazing graphics though.😅
Great effort for a first time out. What position did you finish in?
Great drive, keep it up!
Looks like Meischa lifted at the crest of that rise, transferring weight forward off the rear tires.
In his video he said it could be coolent spill
Their car is a heavy 4 door front engine sedan, i think a lift off couldnt make that sudden snap oversteer. I strongly believe there was an oil or coolant on the track since that particular surface didnt look so dry
@@muzammil5240anyone who destroys a car racing by themselves will say the same thing lol.
You won't see this Super GT, but, you have to play F1 23 again, there's a mode in F1 World where you have to beat Max Verstappen's lap time at Suzuka.
It's limited edition so be quick 👍
I always wondered was traction allowed? I wanna know more about what allowed and what’s not
Just wondering why are you using your right foot to break instead of your left like you usually do on the sim?
So what's the strenght difference in ff compared to simrig? :)
Congrats! 👍👍
So what happened to the car at the beginning with Misha's spin??
im so happy for you
Does anyone know if Steve still livestreams? I’m new to the channel and have been watching some of the old streams from like a year ago, curious if/why those stoppes
In what place did you finish in your class?
i might be the only one but he looks so much like alex albon
So what was the final placement?
8:30, is that manon from gcn?
My Millennial Hero. 🎉
blur speedometer?
Nice one Guys
Misha loves crashing cars
Crazy how realistic graphics looks in those modern games
Raytracing is really showing off
Graphics on modern games these days are scarily realistic, it's literally like real life. Back when I was a kid in the late 80s early 90's we'd be lucky to get a Microsoft computer or a Sinclair/ZX Spectrum (a little 8-bit computer that was released in the UK in the 80s, tonnes of fun with a lot of games on it). I would love to play on it again someday to see if lives up to the memory I had at the time as a kid. I'm honestly gobsmacked on how technology has advanced so quickly since the 80's and 90's and the kids of today don't appreciate how good it actually is now because we live in the digital-age lol.
@@paparoach007 woooosh
@@paparoach007 comparative: yes, but they are partially quite far from real.
Especially lighting, and simulations (like from water) are lacking, and due to the computation power needed for better lighting and simulating stuff, it will be for quite a while.
But yes, stuff like textures and with things like Parallax and Raytracing, it gets better and better.
@@paparoach007 > I would love to play on it again someday to see if lives up to the memory I had at the time as a kid
I tried this recently with Street Fighter II, and let me tell you that the answer was a resounding "no".
crazy to see a sim racer racing around something as crazy as the nurburgring, great job man.
He’s not just a Sim Racer anymore.
He’s kinda been an irl racer
Karting helps
Its normal nowadays, 2 of the sim racers are racing in F1
@@CROWNZI
Max, Albon, Norris, LeClerc, Sargent Yuki, etc etc...
Sims nowadays are good enough to practice real world skills. So most drivers use and race on them too
Scott Egg going P6 on track was one of the Gran Turismo moments of all time.
for real!!! I thought that was hilarious
Is it odd to feel great affection and pride for three guys I've never met? You all deserve every victory that comes your way.
Yes, actually a mental illness. Its called parasocial/- parasocial relationships
@@L4ftyOne hahaha. I wondered why they didn’t thank me for the bouquet and chocolates I sent them on Valentine’s Day.
We all did our part as community members by liking, and commenting, working the algorhytm. Of course it's not because of us they got the chance, but they couldn't do the same without having this recepy, without these numbers in subs etc.
Of course there is affection since this is giving more insight than even 'Drive to Survive'. We know where they all started.
It's crazy I wanted to cry.... so proud of these 3 guys
Why did this feel like seeing my son go to school for the first time?
Congratulations for the black falcon team for this awesome work on the car throughout the whole race
That overtake into bravery corner was something else! Congrats for the whole team!
Dude what is it with you and 6th place😂
😂
It’s kinda crazy that the 2 pros are the ones who wrecked but not you. Great job Steve!
I thought Jimmy and Steve were on similar footing when it came to experience in real racing
@@somberyu though steve has much more experience on karting, jimmy has far more experience on racing cars
Jimmy was hit by a car that spun directly in front of him with not much space to the left or time to react. Misha on the other hand.. I’m pretty sure that first wreck was driver error, braking while turning is my guess + the bumpy undulating part of the track.
@@chrissorreda4982 I can not imagine that being a mistake by Misha. It was crazy how quick the back of the car went with no chance to save it. Misha drives this track the whole year round, he wouldnt misjudge a corner/breaking point like that. Pretty sure it was confirmed that there was oil on track.
@ElCuedo that's why he's always binning it. No care and thinks he's Verstappen. 😂
Just watched gran turismo and spotted you in a scene driving the nurburgring haha :P
Also, the number of times the team caught up with other cars in braking sections was really cool. Sim racing helping with knowing car feel and limits perhaps?
13:55- think it’s understated how scary that looked/could have been 😬😬 fastest part of the track coming into a tight closed off chicane. Was sweating watching that safe 😂
I know right? Instant core memory for Steve, I reckon.
Damn. It sucked that it started that way but you guys and especially the mechanics, pulled off an amazing result despite all the unfortunate events.
GG's all around! 👏
Hear! Hear! Well said!
12:23 I'm shocked they left the a/c system installed instead of saving the weight and adding an air duct or something
A/c is probably required
@@jorhop4005
Page 44 of the technical regulations (unless there are specific changes per class that I didnt catch):
"The original air conditioning may be removed.#"
AC is running by using parts of the power of the engine, so disabling it would allow for more power to be used on speed.
Removing it alltogether can save between 10kg to 20kg, which is around 1% of the weight propably.
@@jorhop4005 maybe, though i saw some drivers with their windows rolled down on jimmy's video
@@groundloss well I know at least the SP9 cars require a/c. Idk about the other classes
ac i think is not even properly working if you drive it hard on the ring if i remember from driving touristenfarten and that was not even fast with my road car 😂
Hey Steve, although the other guys may upload their clips sooner. Not all of us are subscribed to them. They might vlog a lot but yours being longer vids just talking through your drive is amazing :)
Well done, wish I could have been there to watch. Nice commentary style too!
13:30 what a beautiful moment, it's really like watching you on sim
You're driving is genuinely worthy of appraisal Sir 👏🏾
16:00 you absolute animal 😆💪
It's awesome seeing the three of you together doing this having been a fan of the three of you for a while now
Keep that fire burning 🔥
it's rarely ever Misha's fault entirely but man does that guy have bad luck with crashing cars
16:17 It doesn't get much better than this! Precision, Timing, Cool, Commitment and the best narration in the business!
Should the telemetry data be up? I'm not sure if it matters anyway if the race is over, but I thought Black Falcon had asked for it to be blurred. Just a heads up. I'll be drowned by other comments anyway lol
Seeing Steve surrounded by adoring fans made me smile!
The fact he ended his stint p6 is Awesome
Just imagine the carnage, if there were multiclass races in GT7 😅
Great job, guys! You did the best you could, given the circumstances!
Simply amazing watch you race now IRL! 😀
The A/C, I would venture to guess, was your big downfall when it comes to power.
The engine was already running hard because it was just a hot day, but hey….gotta do what ya gotta do! 😂😂❤❤❤
This makes me happy beyond words. I've been a subscriber for over 4 years and to see what you've done with your career is just incredible. This is just the beginning of so many special things to come.
Steve should replicate their IRL race in the Sim when he plays GT7 so we can see the differences in how the car feels in RL vs Sim
Have you heard about GT Sport shutting online services on 31st January 2024?
Seems I lost a bit, what was the final position after the second race? Liked the overall format of the video, but lacked a bit more information at the end about Misha and Jimmy stints
So you went P10 to P6 in your stint then Jimmy took it to Top 5? If so… legendary IRL P6
The stamina and skill required to do this is definitely no joke awesome race guys
The black falcon guys are incredible that the car can get fixed so quickly to continue the race
Steve me and your mom are so proud of what you've achieved!
Racecar rule number 1; Turn off the AC.
with A/C :) great race!
Do you know all the mods list for the 330i? Interesting they chose a normal model.
Why do you keep calling me Black Falcon...I'm Green Falcon!
I noticed that the Key FOB is glued to the center console. Quite a smart move if you don't mind me saying.
It did better than the mirror heyooo
Amazing footage from the Knew-Ren-Burg Ring 😉
16:20 Holy shit. Stick it in there mate! Show'em who's boss.
Like gran turismo movie from simulator racing to real do you remeber maybe 2 or 3 year ago 24h in gran turismo for philepin kids
How it is in cockpit can haha maybe put a gopro on hood to get hood cam
omg that last move was an absolute masterclass. that youtuber was so right about your driving in his analysis. you’re so comfortable putting the car in the smallest pocket and it’s amazing to see you doing it in real life now as well
So this all started with Charodin being a hero and dumping the car straight off the track on cold tires. What a driver...
Misha is a legend, can’t believe this combination
probably your most anticipated video yet, waiting for it was painful
