    As someone who’s still collecting all the materials and track I need to build my n scale layout even though your scale is HO I can’t thank you enough for all this amazing information. And that static electricity trick my man you got a sub from me that’s just absolutely genius❤

    Hella scene, dude! Now you need to paint the ceiling blue so the "water" reflects it like sky

    The straw for the ripples is a great idea! I've seen people use an airbrush but I have never thought about a straw.

    I think you made the right choice to go with a single color. If you were going for more of a river vibe, the depth change would look better. However, with a small creek like what you made, the depth would probably be very similar.

    I think the down hill water has a nice effect. If you level the layout note it will look really cool. Great work

    I've not seen anyone sand the river base as much but your logic is in the proof. Very nice looking river and banks. I'm excited to start my river,too.

    That looks gorgeous! Amazing work, I will be having a similar shallow bridge scene on a part of my layout with a double track truss bridge, inspired by local places I’ve visited growing up. This will help so much!

    Good choice with the plaster. I have heard that sculpt-a-mold can sometimes leak resin. However, if you mix mod podge with the sculpt-a-mold, then it prevents leaks.

      Now I see you put glue on top of the plaster. In which case, you would have been fine with the sculpt-a-mold.

      Thanks man! My river is 2 feet long and about 7 inches wide. Woodland scenics does have a website or app where you can find out how much you need exactly! I think I saw that on there official RUclips channel on Deep Pour Water

      I’ll look into making an official track plan on a track plan software. As for industries it depends on what you like! There are so many industries served by railroads, on my layout I’m going to have a warehouse industry that gets boxcars and a cement company that gets covered hoppers!
      There’s gas, oil, furniture, food, grain, paper, and so many more

    why add grout to the dirt if you are using glue to adhere it? the grout will do nothing if its not mixed with water... its a cement product....

      It actually helps change the color of the dirt to a lighter color, looks much more realistic
