I love watching this guy lol
As someone who’s still collecting all the materials and track I need to build my n scale layout even though your scale is HO I can’t thank you enough for all this amazing information. And that static electricity trick my man you got a sub from me that’s just absolutely genius❤
That looks fantastic! Thanks for showing your process.
Thank you!
Hella scene, dude! Now you need to paint the ceiling blue so the "water" reflects it like sky
That would be cool!
Awesome ! Good inspiration and instruction for my own layout process :)
The straw for the ripples is a great idea! I've seen people use an airbrush but I have never thought about a straw.
Airbrush would save your breath haha
@@charlessapp1835 even a small air compressor might be good
I think you made the right choice to go with a single color. If you were going for more of a river vibe, the depth change would look better. However, with a small creek like what you made, the depth would probably be very similar.
I think the down hill water has a nice effect. If you level the layout note it will look really cool. Great work
Great job kid!! Everything we do can be a learning experience. Don't be afraid to try anything when building scenery, that's the fun part!
Thank you and I agree! You gotta try new stuff or you’ll never grow as a modeler
Nice video mate. That river came out great! Nice to see the resin pour went well with no leaks.
Thanks man! I’m really glad there were no leaks haha
Outstanding job !!! Looks fantastic and very well explained 😍
Thank you 😁
Good job my friend, a river in the train layout.
Swamp in my layout with muddy water.
Gators.
Frogs.
Thank you! That sounds awesome
Wow, I was more impressed with this then I thought I'd be..well done..well done..
That looked super nice and Detailed nice job 👍
Thank you!
I actually started yawning before your cat. I hope you keep this layout for a couple weeks before you decide to change it again.
You do great tutorials and I appreciate you actually showing the process. Everything turned out fantastic!
My pleasure! Thank you for watching
Thanks for showing your build process. Always enjoy your videos.
Thank you!
I've not seen anyone sand the river base as much but your logic is in the proof. Very nice looking river and banks. I'm excited to start my river, too.
Really well done, love the efforts you went to with the grass.
Thank you!
Great job. Looks fantastic and very realistic. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
This was an awesome video! First time I’ve seen a river pour start to finish. Now I want to do one even though I have no space 😂
Thank you! Do it you can always make a little stream or something haha
Nicely done. Your workmanship is outstanding.
Thank you!
That's Fantastic! Excellent work on river and details!
Thank you!
Excellent. Very impressive work.
Great scene! Thank you for showing the process, especially the water. Hoping to tackle water sometime in the future
Thank you!
Wow! That turned out amazing 👍🏼
What an excellent tutorial! It gives me lots of inspiration that, with patience and preplanning,
I too can do this. Glad I subscribed.
Thank you very much!
River looks incredible! Well done!
Thank you!
That looks gorgeous! Amazing work, I will be having a similar shallow bridge scene on a part of my layout with a double track truss bridge, inspired by local places I’ve visited growing up. This will help so much!
Thank you very much! That’s awesome though! Having inspiration from places in real life helps a lot
Your videos always blow me away. Great job man.
Thanks dude!
Great job! Looks very nice.
Looks great. Ty for showing the process
Thank you for watching!
This looks outstanding! definitely going to steal this idea for inspiration when I do mine!
Thank you! I hope to see the your video on your layout doing this in the future!
Well done, sir.
....it looks fantastic!!!!
Wow, looks fantastic.
Thank you man!
That looks awesome! You did a fantastic job!
Thank you!
Looks amazing! Great job!
That turned out great. A fish or two would have looked neat in the water at the edge of the layout.
That would have been cool! I should probably pick up a 3D printer sometime
Great work! Looks really good.
Subtle, subtle, subtle.
That looks fantastic! Job well done.
I did say subtle and river a lot in this video lol but thank you!
Sorry if you thought I was implying you said subtle too much.
I was trying to say that the whole river scene was very subtle.
Great video, your scene turned out amazing!
Good choice with the plaster. I have heard that sculpt-a-mold can sometimes leak resin. However, if you mix mod podge with the sculpt-a-mold, then it prevents leaks.
Now I see you put glue on top of the plaster. In which case, you would have been fine with the sculpt-a-mold.
Well done. Quite impressive.
Thank you 😁
Perfect video! I'm saving this for future reference! Thanks!
Thank you!
top notch for sure
Wow, it turned out purrfect! Good job!
Thank you 🐱😁

Very good length and pace to the video.

11:07 you 🐱 in the train layout.
Scooby Doo is a good dog.
Scrappy Doo is a nice pup.
My dog Scooby Dum.
😁😁😁
Very Nice !!!
The tilt I’d say worked in ur favor. Gives a lil bit of a down slope river
True, good way too look at it
Love your videos!
Thank you 😁
Another great video!
Thanks man!
Looks good! 😊
Thank you 😁
looks fire. i am doing one myself lol
Heck yeah!
Awesome
thanks great job
Wow!
Its finally here let’s gooo
Heel gaaf weer👌
I personally thought that the trees looked nice
Finally I been waiting
love the vids dude:D
Thanks man!
Just a note for later if you mix shredded tissue paper 2:1. with your hydrocal you'll have your sculptomold
Good tip!
You should make a intermodal yard
If I had a bigger layout I definitely would!
Great video!! Just one question, what are the measurements of your river? I am doing a similar one but I don’t know how much resin I will be needing. Thank you!!
Thanks man! My river is 2 feet long and about 7 inches wide. Woodland scenics does have a website or app where you can find out how much you need exactly! I think I saw that on there official RUclips channel on Deep Pour Water
Just wondering if you have considered putting signals on your layout
Eventually I will! I just need to learn more about the wiring and prototypes
Can you make a track plan of
this layout?
Do you think you could make a track plan and what are some good industries
I’ll look into making an official track plan on a track plan software. As for industries it depends on what you like! There are so many industries served by railroads, on my layout I’m going to have a warehouse industry that gets boxcars and a cement company that gets covered hoppers!
There’s gas, oil, furniture, food, grain, paper, and so many more
@@TopRailroad thank you. When will your next video be posted?
Were the grass tuff actually 89.99 that's what it says on the package
No no 😂 it was 9 dollars not 89! I wouldn’t buy them for that price haha
How did you find the smell of the resin?
It wasn’t bad at all, couldn’t really smell it unless you were up close to it
What camera do you use?
I use a Sony ZV1
Ok thanks so much! 😊
where is EP3? Couldn't find it.
Should be on my channel!
Why don’t you use cork rod bed
It’s not always necessary and I prefer to not use it. If I had a lot of mainline stretches I would though
The rolling stock needs some dirt.
I can agree, they need a good weathering soon
Can you please just make a quick track plan?
I will! I’m a bit busy now but I’ll find some time to do it soon
Can you please keep this layout
😂 I will I’ve got too much into this plus I like it a lot haha
Yay thank you 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hello
Hi
why add grout to the dirt if you are using glue to adhere it? the grout will do nothing if its not mixed with water... its a cement product....
Does it matter? It’s his layout.
It actually helps change the color of the dirt to a lighter color, looks much more realistic
Where is cork roadbed
I won’t be using it on this layout. It’s not always necessary especially where there’s lots of track
@@TopRailroad the track is missing elevation factor, then again have at it as you wish, that s end looks great!
