- The Thrustmaster TH8A is not really known as a cheap shifter and that is something Thrustmaster wanted to change. The TH8S was released as a more budget friendly solution.

What pc specs are you using ti run beamng and also what wheek were you using? And does the thrustmaster tmx work with the shifter?
1080gtx 8, 16gb ram and an i5. Nothing special. Yes it will work.
Hi, nice video really great reviews one question i was thinking of buying thurstmaster t300 rs gt with a H-pattern shifter and a handbrake. Do u have any suggestion? And i did saw the shh newt2 review. It's not avaliable in my country
On what platform would you play? The Thrustmaster T300 RS GT is a good start base, but under certain conditions. One of them is platform. For PC for example new, budget-wise, the Cammus C5 is the best bang/buck out there. The T8HS is a lovely shifter and I still use this myself despite having had a few other more expensive shifters.
@SimulatedDrivingResource Hey don't get me wrong im new to simracing and I saw the review on Cammus C5 It's just that there's only 2 foot pedals and I don't know about there quality but hey I'm willing to give it a try same for TH8s shifter and I mainly play on PC but i was hoping getting into drifting games by any chance do you have any suggestion for good hand brake?
No, for pedals the basic Cammus pedal plate is not remarkable and I would more advise their LC100 pedals or any other pedalset with load cell and adjustable brake like Thrustmaster T-LCM or Fanatec CSL Elite v2. For handbrake unfortunately I have not much knowledge or experience.
Later in the video you say you have the choise of two TM shifters. I think there's also a sequential/handbrake lever but that's quite expensive.
Btw you can remove the knob: you can lift the cap and then there's a Torx bold below it.
Absolutely. The TSS Sparco is quite nice but as you say sequential shifting only. Thanks. I am happy with the knob for now but good to know it is replaceable should i need it
@@SimulatedDrivingResource Idk if there are already alternative knobs.
Btw do you know if there are instructions to get additional spring tension when pushing from 5+6 further to the right to 7+R?
So far it works best as 4 gears or 4+R.
@@jochenkraus7016 unfortunately I dont get too much involved in the after-market so I have no idea but a quick Search on google shows already quite some mods available for it. Problem is that I wouldnt know which are good and which are not 😅
Good morning
With its "home" sequential mode, this selector will be perfect for assisting a bare wheel.
Not sure what you mean with the home sequential mode 🤔
@@SimulatedDrivingResource DIY 😉
The translator was a little to the west
@@SimulatedDrivingResource There are videos explaining how to create a sequential mode very simply.
@@THESHADOW97139 ahhh ok. Yeah I am sure, but if you want a sequential shifter, buy a sequential shifter, not this 😁
@@SimulatedDrivingResource
To start a configuration, it will be perfect
Hi Bro, What is the game in the video?
Your video arrived in Brazil!!!! Nice video!!
Hello friend. It's BeamNG. A very chill simulator with many free additions. Thank you for the kind words :)
@@SimulatedDrivingResource And what's the name of this track? Thanx
@@PauliusVaiciukevičius its just the Italy track
Ok but how do I get it to work on games I don't care about the design or gameplay I want to make it work
1:39 there you go
@@SimulatedDrivingResource ye I know how to plug it in I play on xbox and I'm trying to get it to work in a game but it won't work
@@MustyVR101 connect it directly to your Thrustmaster wheelbase. It will not work when plugged in via USB to the xbox. Your game (almost all games) and car need to support the use of the shifter.
@@SimulatedDrivingResource I've tried everything I've gone into settings and more and nothing has worked
