Some people's allays are escaping - that's because you left glass on the blocks over the trapdoors. You can't do that unlike the vid or they will squish themselves through. Replace the 4 glass with a solid block, and then keep one solid block on TOP of the cross (so + of 5 solid blocks and 1 on top) and none should be able to escape ever. Great vid and technique otherwise, thanks! I'm definitely using this.

@@moqeyo Since you replied to my comment, I'll jump in - You need the top to be more solid than it is in the video. That's why they get out. You can't have glass or transparent blocks on the blocks that are directly over the trapdoors or the one above the middle so make like a + of solid blocks. Then put one more solid block ABOVE the middle and they can't get out (at least mine haven't yet and I've run this farm multiple times.)
As far as the silverfishes going underground, everything on the inside should be dirt or grass. If you have stone, they can go through one piece and go crazy below it. So just make sure the ENTIRE enclosure is a silverfish proof block - just dirt is fine. If you run into stone, though, replace it.

If your Allays are suffocating and escaping, keep a layer of blocks 3x3 across the level above the trapdoors. I did this and they stopped escaping.

for the bedrock and pe user use 2 or 3 allay to not to get lag. or crash ur World.. i tryed 6 allay and now i cant join my world coz of thare is so many silver fish doing lag. crash 😢😢😢😢
My allays die in the fire. I turn the fire on and then I come back to start the farm and the allays are not there

What edition they die in bedrock
allays cant regenerate if the chunk they are in is unloaded so if you leave with the campfire still on they will die, just stay close to the farm when it is on

My first time ever interacting with an Allay to build this farm.
Feel a bit bad, they're so cute, and I just rescued one just to lock it up for all eternity, crush it with a piston, and then bombard it with toxins, for my own personal gain. lmao
...not bad enough to not use the farm all the time now, though. 😅

I can't get my allays to go in the hole. They keep flying everywhere.😢 found the flaw, it doesn't work on bedrock
for me on java, the allays are able to just fly through the block above the campfires and they keep escaping.

does the potion of infestation get extended with redstone? Allowing for 8 minutes in between each button press?

my allay had despawned. how can you stop them from respawning or can i find another mob to substitute them
You could’ve named it. You could alternatively use a mob that could heal/be healed. Like some iron golems or witches splashed with poison

Why are the silverfish escaping? Used iron blocks for the entire build. Java 1.21.1.
i would recommend a ender man farm 2 but this is great for a quick fix for your gear

Sadly this is not working. But i will try working on one :)
I think it only spawns slimes when a mob with the oozing effect dies

Swords don't deal aoe damage on bedrock so the killing part would probably have to be different

Like at each other Videos u use Allays... But didnt show them in Material-List.... For Beginners like me its not possible to get Allays .
Then dont bother, you need stuff from the nether as well (netherwards for potion, blazerods, nether crystals).
I also have an XP farm, its super easy and all you need is 5 wood.
Step 1: place 5 diamond blocks in a cross
Step 2: place the egg of the ender dragon on top of it
Step 3: ... you catch my drift ...
You should probably mention that it doesnt work on Bedrock.

you have fire aspect entchantment? If so then use a sword without it :)

@@Regund dont worry campfires work on bedrock aswell but wither roses will end up killing the allays on bedrock so I suggest using a campfire connected to a clock system which will throw a bottle of water at the campfire 1 min and a half after it is turned on

Can you use a potion of oozing instead for slimes?
you probably could, but because of the difference between slime and silverfish hitboxes the slimes might end up getting stuck in with the allays and just dying to the campfire.
I tested it, and sadly it doesnt work, because the slimes only spawn when an entity with oozing dies, and the allays never die. You could accomplish a similar thing to spawn slimes by using, like, an enderman farm, and just splashing them before killing them

No, I just tested this in bedrock edition in a creative world. The allays do not heal fast enough and will die to the campfire eventually. I guess in java edition, the allays heal fast enough so that the campfire doesn't kill them.
Good farm, just please include all of your materials beforehand, kind of annoying having to stop building to go get something else frequently.

Can you make like the same video but for bedrock?
Its not realistic to make this in bedrock. Unless you want to create a stupid amount of splash damage II potions witb a dispenser, you cant kill the silverfish fwster than they will spawn.
Java pakuers can kill multiple at once because they have access to the mechanic and enchantment called "sweeping edge". This is not available on bedrock. Youre bettwr of with an end farm.

If its not working check if you have sweeping edge as minority mentioned. And otherwise you can kill them from above as i showed in the video :)

bei dem zweiten schub vom piston sind alle alleys ausgebrochen hätte 100 mal noch das mit dem piston machen können

falls du auch auf bedrock bist werden die alleys nach einer zeit sterben deshalb musst du eine viel kompliziertere farm bauen mit einem redstone system damit du mit knöpfen die alleys anzünden kannst und splashen kannst und dann wieder ausmachen kannst falls du auf bedrock bist dann schau dir sm besten ein anderes video an aber wie gesagt das ist etwas kompliziert habe 2 stunden dafür gebraucht

@@sxda8048 ja ich spiel auf Bedrock. Ich habs jetzt eh schon aufgegeben 😅 es war schon ein Kampf, die Allays auf die richtige Höhe vom Campfire zu bekommen um sie einzusperren. Das mach ich jetzt nicht nochmal 😂
@@not_Tamb0 verständlich das hat mich auch eine menge nerven gekostet am ende habe ich einfach ein alley erst mal eingesperrt und sie dann dort drinnen geduped das war 100 mal einfacher du kannst auch das loch wo du die alleys drinnen haben willst etwas höher machen und etwas besser ausbauen dann war es für mich auch viel einfacher den alley rein zu bekommen musst halt ein zwei mal mehr mit dem piston den block runter drücken aber so das dus halt nicht durchbrichst

You should really make it clear this is a Java build. On Bedrock, the allays can die. Also, that many mobs can create extreme lag and crash a Bedrock world.
