We saw you filming the ending of this as we were coming for our reservation and we couldn’t believe we FINALLY saw you in the “wild”. We said a quick hello and you were so kind and genuine. Keep up the great work Molly!

I loved Skippers Cantine! The noodles were so good, a very light meal you can polish off the whole plate and not feel full and gross walking around in the heat after.
Skipper Canteen is my favorite! I loved the fish but my actual go to is to skip the entrees all together. I order the cheese bread and either the Cachapas or Lost and Found soup depending on what I’m feeling that day along with a glass of wine. Literally a perfect meal for a perfect day when followed up with some coconut dole whip. I dream about this meal all the time, never get sick out it!
Solo traveler tip: You can’t miss their appetizers but the entrees are too big to finish by yourself with a full appetizer so try it out the way I do!
When we visited Skipper Canteen in June 2021, we were seated in the Butterfly Booth. There are lots of butterflies under glass that Walt gifted to Lillian during their marriage (according to our Skipper). I wish one of the Skippers would have shown you that booth!
This video literally blew my mind! I always wondered why Disney never had jungle ride restaurant and there it is!!!!absolutely amazing! Great details! Thank you for taking me there!!😇
We have reservations for here in a couple weeks and I am so excited! One of my best friends, her husband grew up in Brazil and she makes Brazilian cheese bread when she can find the ingredients and it is AMAZING! Will def have to get some here too!
My next trip to the parks isn’t until January, but I already have Skipper Canteen on the list for my MK dinner. The menu options are so interesting and every dish you had looked and sounded AMAZING. Jungle Cruise is one of my favorite attractions, and immersing myself in the same vibes for a meal just sounds perfect.
Jungle Skipper Canteen is a must eat for me at Magic Kingdom if I have the time and appetite for it! Never gets old! Love the food, love the service and love the theme and atmosphere! I wish Disney did more attraction themed restaurants! Imagine a Haunted Mansion restaurant or a Tower of Terror restaurant! Ugh, I can only imagine what these ideas could be like! Love the cheesy bread, this seafood dish they used to have, and their deserts are fine but acceptable. Overall, fun and awesome restaurant!
My 7 and 11 year old LOVED this restaurant and we are already planning to visit again once we go back.

The cheese bread was unlike anything I’ve very had before and I swear I would eat 20 of them if I let myself. The only way I could describe it is if cheese WAS bread and if bread was also cheese 😂 gahhhhh to die for

our fav here is to share the Capachas, falafal and split the Perkins noodles the way they come without meat. Omg so good!!! they even split the noodles/broth in the kitchen comes out in 2 bowls!
We love ❤ this place. We find new "Easter Eggs" everytime we're there, and their food is the best at MK. The Skippers are always fun too.
I didn’t think I would like this place much but it turned out to by my overall favorite for the whole trip!
I am lucky enough to have came of age in a time before The Adventurer's Club and Pleasure Island closed. S.E.A in Japan is on my list to visit just because they have continued with this great idea. The lore is entertaining and draws you in to adventure.
I ate there back in spring break earlier this year, I actually ate at the first table to the left back in past where the bookshelf is in the “secret room”
We proounce queijo as kay-jzho, not key-ho. it is a brazilian staple, but we for sure do not eat with chimichuri.

I had the Thai Noodles with tofu - delish! I asked for the soy chili sauce on the side and they gave me a lot of it so I was able to spice it up to my exact standards. I really loved my experience there ... except the waitstaff was a bit slow. I can't wait to try the cheese bread reviewed here!

And I think the painting of Alberta was done when she was a teenager. Such a difficult stage of life but she obviously out grew it.

I looove Skipper Canteen! The cheese bread is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten lol.
We loved our dinner here, but unfortunately it was after a Tusker House breakfast and we were STILL full from breakfast LOL! So we didn’t order a ton of food but what we got was great and the sangria was delish. I was happy that I could get the Brazilian cheese bread because it’s made with tapioca and not wheat, so it was suitable for gluten free peeps. I want to go back again and get those Thai noodles.

Perkins Thai noodles are the best. I add chicken and steak. Love the Brazilian cheese bread. The butterfly booth is a lot of fun.

We LOVE Skipper's. Our only complaint is that you have to go to MK to eat there... which isn't a bad thing... but it is if you don't have a park ticket and they aren't selling APs right now!

Not sure when this was recorded. When we ate there over spring break 2022 the cheese bread was unavailable due to supply shortages.

This place is awesome, highly recommend for anyone who wants a place to sit down during a long day at MK. When went right after our Jungle Cruise ride and I think I broke my bf with the corny dad jokes cause it never ends

also, I took a girls' trip to WDW in January, my friend loves Skipper Canteen, always goes, but our waitress was so lame!!! she was rushing something fierce, and nothing fun. boo.
Skipper canteen is the only place in WDW where I had a meal that I did not like when I spent a week last December.
I had the "Curried Vegetable Crew Stew" and it was not good.
We eat at this restaurant every trip it's so good! The only thing we would love is if you could choose to get less jokes from the cast members. I know it's part of the experience, but my mom HATES that part about the restaurant. The food is amazing so we go every time, but it would be nice if you could denote when you reserve or at check-in if you want less jokes.
Larry the waiter is the best server in Magic Kingdom. If you eat here - hope you get him. He’s a mad lad.
Me and my wife are there I had the fried chicken quite tasty. The portion was big and so was the chicken.
The only thing I don’t like about the skipper canteen is the inconsistency. My dad went on a solo trip with his friend and went to the skippers canteen and had a hilarious server who was very interactive and had a lot of great jokes. So when we went on our family trip later that year, my dad really wanted us to go and experience what he experienced. However our server was not at all interactive, did not tell any jokes and was just like any other waiter. They were great as a typical server but it was definitely not the experience we were expecting

Why is the cheese bread a secret item. If it’s good, they should put it on the menu. I got some “shumai” one time at Skipper Canteen and it tasted like bait left in a hot car all day. Disgusting. Won’t go back.

The title of this video is a little misleading. I was hoping to hear more about the secret menu. We have eaten here before and loved it.
I love AllEars! Please know this comment/suggestion comes from a kind heart. Please end your videos on a more positive directive as opposed to a demand. “Now go watch…” is not on point with the AllEars I know. Something along the lines of, “Please enjoy…” in reference to a related video is more of a pleasant way to end your video while allowing us to navigate to the related suggestion. Just throwing this out there.
