I Eat when I'm hungry, and that has made me less stressed and helped me to give all I can give to my workout,instead of being hungry. And personally for me i feel better and get better results. Thanks for your inspirational video's!! Love them! ❤

I haven’t been able to go to the gym in a few years and it’s was something I was very committed to back then, and my Mum just bought me a gym membership for my birthday this week and she is actually (for the first time ever) going as well so it’s awesome to be able to share my knowledge and watch her fall in love with it like I have!! You inspire me so much on my self care/wellness journey I began at the beginning of the year… thank you!!!!

Thank you for sharing this truth from your experience. Trying to adhere to all the "rules" -- especially around food -- has been robbing me of the joy of lifting lately. And, I've been wondering why I've been in such a funk. A lightbulb went off for me when you shared. I'm remembering that the core of all of this movement should be joy, fun, and the gratification that comes with hard work and expanding our limits. Great video.

From a nutrition student... Having a light carb snack is actually very good during a hard training session. If you are working hard, then you might need to restore your energy in the form of a carbohydrate snack!!!

Update, I started training for a half marathon. Increased my water intake. Taking sleep more seriously. And made more time for friends and less for social media. This has been so transformative

If you train and everything doesn't work, you still have to be proud of yourself because you decided to go to the gym. Every training makes you a little stronger and better, no matter how "bad" it was…(e.g.)💛

Your physique and overall state of health is excellent and speaks for itself. If you want to eat (what looked like a harmless snack) halfway to give you more of a boost or energy, then hey. More power to you! You could get away with eating a greasy burger and be fine lol. I’ve eaten a snack literally right before walking into the gym and had amazing workout sessions.
Besides….the science is gonna shift in a couple years anyway and then it’ll be the popular thing to do 😂

Thank you for talking about not getting caught up in rigid structures. I am currently in that mindset and it’s so … hard and ends up being discouraging. Getting caught up in the number on the scale when I have been so diligent about my workouts (been doing your emailed ones since you started sending them out!) . I have been watching your previous bulk/cut videos for direction but I have to ask - have you found that in your last 6 month journey your number on the scale has grown in conjunction with your muscle growth? How do you deal with that? Is it a positive feeling, does it harbor negative feelings for you (it does for me) or do you not even account for the scale and just go by how you feel and how your clothes fit?
I know I have gained muscles over my exercise journey but I feel like I have the same stubborn 10 lbs that don’t seem to budge.
Honestly it sounds to me like you would benefit from taking a break from the scale for a while, or at the very least weighing less often. If it only serves as a point of stress, then it's not the right tool for you right now. How your workouts feel, how your clothes fit, and how you look in the mirror would all be better progress indicators than the scale.
I don’t weigh myself or focus on numbers in general. Very liberating and can recommend!!!❤️❤️❤️

I live with my boyfriend & I never enjoyed going out too much so I don’t. I wouldn’t skip it because I want to stay on track, live your life according to your values and boundaries and be free within those

i eat a rice cake in between my workout....then again some people dont train to lose weight, like me, i train to build muscle and because i like to feel strong and eating a rice cake or rice crispy treat give me a lil boost of energy so i can push harder!
