Nice to hear from you again! This video really made me think about if something like this actually happened... What would we as humans do? How would we be able to combat this threat and save ourselves, you know? (Also still asking for the Sunflower Iceberg 👀)
This analog horror is filled to the brim with AH cliches. If I discovered it first, I would have said it's one of the best AH has to offer, but as a seasoned enjoyer of AH, I'd say it's alright, there's nothing here that breaks the mold. That said, it's not bad by any means, I commend the creator for making and sharing this stuff, it definitely has plenty for the newcomers.
My question is what would happen if multiple met at one location? Would they fight in a death match against each other to see who gets the prey? Or would they decide which one gets the prey civilly? Or even worse, would they work together to eliminate their target quicker?
Oh! I actually know the origin of the music accompanying the face from tape 7: it’s from a numbers station! The Lincolnshire Poacher, I believe. If you don’t know, numbers stations are radio stations that identify themselves using codes, phrases, or sounds ( simple musical tunes, for example), before listing off numbers, and then ending the series with a simple “end” or string of zeros. They’re commonly believed to be a method of espionage, sending encrypted messages around containing information.
@@hansvonflammenwerfer2817 do you mean in a James Bond kinda way or the actual horror of the unknown being transported in plain sight? Anyways, I think it doesn’t actually have any real significance or meaning, it’s pretty much a ghost story with little to no merit, and was probably added to make the video a bit creepier.
I think that's the creator not knowing old English. "It looks likeith a human" had me rolling bc of how incorrect it is. "It doth appear as a man" would be closer.
I like to imagine this wasn't what the creature looked like at first before encountering a bunch of stoners and alcoholics that seemed to think it was one of them in some alleyway
The melody you mention at 26:00 is a recording from a numbers station, which is a real life phenomenon where a certain audio loop is transmitted over short-wave radio. We estimate these to be from intelligence communities but we arent sure. The specific melody is from a more famous station named "Lincolnshire Poacher". I don't know how it connects to the ARG but it is equally creepy.
Well we know without a doubt that the Lincolnshire Poacher station was an intelligence station, it was broadcast from the HM Government Communications Centre in Buckinghamshire and later from Cyprus.
@@phenk3294 Yeah, it was run out of that building here but then moved to a military base in Cyprus later. Fun fact, from what I've been told the Poacher got copied by the North Koreans after the original shutdown in 2008, they even used the same frequency.

He touched my ass in a denny's
"and remember, when ur not running im only getting closer" that line goes so hard. like imagine dropping someone's ip then saying that.
Basswood County clearly isn’t in America. Dude would be lit up like a Christmas tree, death by citizen after his fourth break in.
Ok but can he handle getting filled with some good old lead.
everetjwoodward wouldn't let this shit happen for sure
I was watching this off and on at work
26:24 of all songs you could’ve said, I wasn’t at ALL expecting you to say White Acropolis
I do hear it tho, there is some of that in there
@@hansvonflammenwerfer2817 personally I always think of that dumb ass video of heavy from team fortress spinning in a circle
@@syrtekThat's what a ton of people have been saying lmao.
GOD NO NOT WISCONSIN IM EVEN MORE SCARED NOW I LIVE THERE
Haha cope
How to live a happy life?
Shows grass
*And then I took it personally*
22:40 I believe the second [....] says " He is not seen normally, by/my lord, help us"
Around the 26:30 it's the Lincolnshire poacher. Fun fact: it was also used in a number station.
explains the weird face my dad has been making lately...
So it's a spy's theme?
@@hansvonflammenwerfer2817 do you mean in a James Bond kinda way or the actual horror of the unknown being transported in plain sight?
Anyways, I think it doesn’t actually have any real significance or meaning, it’s pretty much a ghost story with little to no merit, and was probably added to make the video a bit creepier.
@@Toolgirl64209 TF2 inside joke.
Fun fact: that slowed music is actually some kind of meme song. I forgot the name, but it's usually used for spinning animals and whatnot.
4:04 I think this was made by the creature itself, as a lot of the grammar isn't actually correct to the middle English it draws from.
I think that's the creator not knowing old English. "It looks likeith a human" had me rolling bc of how incorrect it is.
"It doth appear as a man" would be closer.
@@ScorpioofAutumn He toucheth my willy in uncooth fashion.
the spy has already breached our defenses
those glass breaking background noises scared the shit out of me
13:51 the most clippable and funny line in the series
If i saw that thing I'd call kevin
Nah you got it all wrong. You gotta call Saul.
I don't know how I even watched Basswood... it's less creepy than the "jumpscare" in the mortal kombat krypt
I like to imagine this wasn't what the creature looked like at first before encountering a bunch of stoners and alcoholics that seemed to think it was one of them in some alleyway
Yeah hell no they can catch me on the earliest flight to California i am not staying in that county if i see one and survive the night
Bro, if I saw a warning of this creature on my TV, I’d be driving out of that place immediately.
I couldn't sleep bc of this. Even though I know it isn't real, my brain still had the fight or flight response ready
@@drunkonsuccess779 Oh damn, I didn't know that it was run by Brits. I mean it makes sense but I didnt know it had been confirmed.
@@phenk3294 Yeah, it was run out of that building here but then moved to a military base in Cyprus later. Fun fact, from what I've been told the Poacher got copied by the North Koreans after the original shutdown in 2008, they even used the same frequency.
26:55 wasnt expecting this dance lol
With how many Analog horror series there are, i want an Analog Horror Fighting game
In terms of the non world ending ones, The man in the suit would be a top tier.
13:56 I feel like I heard this song in a meme once
I can't believe the basswood creep was the Manhattan Mangler
Our boi, 🌻 is killing it with these 👏 👏 the silent hill music in the background is 👌🏼
Every analogue horror entity must bow before the true king of horror, the Slash Slinging Slasher
The Detective named after Jerma took me out of it instantly
Yes I am :( unfortunately. Incredibly painful toothache won’t let me sleep.
6:17 the monster gives you enough time to draw him what a nice guy 👍 😊
its 3 freaking am and youtube recommend this vid to me :))
Bruh the creature is literally Adam Sandler
I would keep watching this but it's 12:43 am and now i don't plan on going to sleep so... I'll come back tomorrow
13:56 that looks more goofy than scary. It's like that meme "Hello X from Y". Liebet's delay is just a cherry on top.
19:20 doc censored face, but not shadow
