My take its a story of becoming a monster: Map 1: Just trying do what you think you should do, go for a race around the map but you never get ahead, so you go off the beaten path and end up lost and confused. So in life you do what your told and think you should but never get anywhere so you decide to to try something else and end up leaving society. Map 2: You are sinking and want to return to normal life. You reach out for help but nobody will help you. Map 3: The world around you doesnt make sense anymore, almost like its glitching out, then it finally just gives away. Map 4: You have visions of anger and begin to wish the worst on people (hense the tormented bodies). Map 5: You cant seperate good from evil, hense some balloons are full of confetti and some are full of blood. Map 6: You realize theres your in a state of mind that only goes down. Helpful or friendly people have no impact on you and you dont even realize they're not trying to be mean or harm you. Map 7: You finally become a monster and are faced with what you are.
In Kitty's death scene٫ you'll notice that her teeth are actually falling out so I think he was actually aiming for the teeth to why we found the sheep's teeth٫ laying in a puddle of the sheep's blood
I initially kinda thought that the Congrats stage implied that a massacre happened, since the balloons are all bloody and the background music consists of people screaming in fear it made me think the game could be a story about some masochist who killed and tortured people but idk how it related to the game other than it possibly being a purgatorial hell for the killer so yeah
I think you meant sadist A masochist is someone who enjoys pain upon themselves (ex: someone enjoys being slapped) A sadist is someone who likes causing others pain (ex: someone enjoys slapping others)
22:09 I think they were made in the balloons. And that's why there is a drawling of him or her in the balloon because she looks inside the balloons and saw them.
@@CooperDooper38 So it is a balloon egg thing but what if it is like cloning vats to make more and more to torment so the man in the Garage could have some fun.
@@MilohTannenmaybe that explains why that sheep was on the first track, its balloon went up there and eventually popped, explaining why there were only things from that particular sheep. It wasn't supposed to happen that way and that's the reason of why the man put those marks and spikes, they're a measure in case it happens again. Maybe all those sheeps inside the balloons are related to the Test Room, maybe something negative, and that's why one of those bodies helped that sheep.
sounds like another "dead persons soul got put in the game to relive actions and death trough revenge of person related to carcrash victim oh and it's a metaphor for mental illnis and suicide danger." game. but looks good.
I mean, the aesthetics are way better than most retro style games, horror or not. Fix the resolution and you could totally gaslight some 90s kids with a title screen loop.
My dark theory for discussion: I believe Sheep was probably a pregnant woman and Kitty is a friend of her trying to find her and became a victim of whoever also hurt Sheep. Hell, Sheep is probably the baby and Kitty is the pregnant woman. The first few levels could be seen as your standard racing levels and what the game would be if nothing haunted was involved. Your grass course, your desert course and your Wario Stadium kind of course LOL. But after that, we get to see the story the developer wants you to know. The Psy level could be interpreted as the realization of the mother getting pregnant as it has the blocks look like the ones a baby would have to play with. If i want to take it further, maybe the dark person is the father (?) as they get shown in this specific level. They were probably a couple ready to become parents. For this i'd put into question whether the character in the drawing and the monster in the parking lot are the same, or two different entitities. The balloon level could be seen as a baby shower with even a gender reveal. The balloons are Pink, Yellow and Blue, which are the common colors for that kind of themed party. With the ones filled with blood being essentially wombs (the texture inside the balloon did look like a fetus to me). Sadly one night, she was being chased while driving in the highway and got attacked outside the parking lot, with someone busting her tires and well...the rest is there on full display.
well if we assume that youre right about ththe shadow guy being the soon to be father, what if all the shadow guys are the same entity? what if its a story of him finding out kitty is pregnant, and going to any measure to stop the child from existing? the reason youre encouraged to pop the balloons with embryos in them is a metaphor for abortion or otherwise killing the child, and when it didnt work, the man took it upon himself to just straight up kill the host- the mother herself, and the child with her. the glitched bodies in that one level further up could be him stressed about hearing the big news, contemplating how to stop it from happening, or hell even his regret for killing the mother of his child. if you wanna get really sad about it, maybe the child lived, and thats why sheep was up at the top level. the timer of life ticking endlessly, unable to be stopped. the march of time, the loss of the memories of her mother, the torment she knows was endured for her all those years ago. it gets to her, she jumps off the edge, falling deeper and deeper into her memories of the horrible incident, and taking herself out the same way her mother was killed, which would explain the pile of blood and teeth that already exists on the floor in the parking lot.

ever since the sm64 classified video, you really stood out to me on youtube. i can tell you put your heart and soul into these videos! i hope you grow your channel even more and keep making amazing videos like this
something about the cars engine sound when going off the track reminds me of this old car based PC game I barely remember playing as a child. I had completely forgotten about it until now but I used to spend ages playing it. It had a lot of depth to it from what I remember, with different maps and objectives and features like exploding if you revved too much. I wish I could remember what it was called
@@popshoppacks sadly no (got my hopes up for a sec) from what I remember you played as a car, not being driven by anything just like a sentient car or whatever, and it wasn't a racing game as far as I can recall or if it was I just only played minigames instead. thank you though I appreciate the attempt
like others have said, the balloons look to be filled with embryos, so maybe the misspelled congratulations everywhere is what the embryos are hearing? they can hear language, people congratulating their parents, but not understand it
Castrophe Crow Shipwrecked 64 And now this game. Cursed "unreased" Nintendo 64 based indie horror games definitely my new favorite niche of indie horror games now.
Maybe it's because I actually grew up with an N64 and PS1 but whenever I see these fake Creepypasta games I can't help but think that they're just corny as hell
the internet has just gone full circle back to video game creepypastas, but with a new genre name so they dont get made fun of for enjoying them. so many horror ARGs boil down to “look at the scary face” or “theres a ghost in my video game”
This isn't really directed toward the video and whatnot, but I've got an idea for a possibly new horror genre, *Analog Horror Games* and the idea I've got for this game is; you play as a Eltrich deer being, with millions of antlers forming into two antlers and at first, you play as a *soon to be* victim, you're armed with a camcorder. and at the first glance of the monster, POV's switch, and then you play as the monster you get to name the monster as well, you *COULD* name it George :), or a more fitting name for a deer monster, like *"Doplsash"* or something like that and you get to name the County you're in, and the surrounding Counties aswell, as more people YOU failed to *consume* the more *prey* come into YOUR *territory* what ya'll think of this wall of text tho
I think you severely misunderstood the story as being fiction as opposed to reality based. The crying sheep, the unknown man and heart, teeth and implications of suicide. The embryo balloons. These all look like a grieving mother after the loss of an unborn child.
Has anyone ever tried to do the "OOOO SPOOKY OBSCURE OLD GAME" type of horror game, but with, like. idk. Source Mods? I think a full-ass modern indie horror project made in GoldSrc would be pretty epic :/
Nice video I really love the creepy pasta old games Sadly its easier to notice fake games nowdays looking how much HD some textures looks and how some objects have 3d models in a time where was almost imposible formsabe memory Also N64 games doesn't have loading screens (that was the specially of have a cartridge) This is not a complain irto ruin the fun It was just to point the usuall errors that developers do nowdays when they do this kind of games, its like try to reproduce a VHS nowdays
To give SOME benefit of the doubt to the quit option on the main menu, so you can have the option to go back to the title screen, which was a common thing at least starting with the SNES days. I'm not sure why that was the case, but a myth i would be told by owners of arcades with console sections, is that appearently you could affect the disc or console if you just turned off your console, it would somehow affect both the system and the game. Again. it was probably something he believed and told us to be careful with his systems, but it was a logical headcanon reason for why some games let you go all the way to the title screen again.
There was a real thing in the NES age like that. See, when a CPU's not running with full voltage it can get confused, and for some reason it's easier to keep those bad instructions at bay as it's _gaining_ power in the fraction of a second after you switch a system on than it is to do so as the system is _losing_ power in the fraction of a second after it's switched off. In both cases this is accomplished by continuously resetting the CPU until it's fully powered or fully drained of power so that it literally can't do anything else in the meantime. However, the NES only had the circuitry to handle the powering-up period. This only risked games with saves, though, since the save could be erroneously rewritten with garbage by the low-power-bugging CPU as it was losing its power, hence why early such games would tell you to hold RESET as you switched the thing off. Later such games did come with power-off protection circuitry built onto the cartridge, finally allowing the NES to do automatically what the earlier savable games asked you to do manually.
My heart was honestly pounding, throughout the gameplay, and seeing that sp!ke strip at the end just made my heart sink, until that *_UNNECESSARY_* jump scare hits, and made my heart leap into my throat. This is one sick joke, and it reminds me a lot of the "Call Of Charon" Pokémon Creepypasta/PokéPasta. It's clearly intentional for a scare, but it's either too well made, too elaborate to make sense, or both! My mind is blown, by this video. This'd be perfect for Halloween, to show to my brother. Great job, Sunflower!
Kitty Kart 64 was so fun. I was born 2004, and always played with my sister when I was younger on 2 player! We had an N64 even then! I played the singleplayer mode for the first time at night back then. It really messed me up for a while. Honestly, no wonder the game didn't sell well when it first came out...

Neat this reminds me quite a bit of the Teeny Toys series. Lotta potential although I think I like the other series better (more mystery and deeper, more unique, lore)
This whole game somehow in some way reminds me of how, in some ROM hacks for Super Mario 64, if the level is big enough, and you’re close enough to the edge (or something like that, I dunno what causes it exactly), the camera will detach from Mario and the polygons will turn into silly putty.
It's 2024. I don't think the game designer would deliver the full game. We will never know if this would come back to reality. They probably had to give up on the project and move on with their life. I'm just saying that because it's been over a year now, there are no updates/information on the game designer.

The last location where you meet the entity reminds me of the violence district in LSD dream emulator where in the level there is s lot of lamp lights everywhere
some of it looks to be faux 3d models or at least fake pixellized which makes it look more like early GBA games that mimicked 3d movement before they actually figured out how to do that
Some of these levels remind me of circles of hell, it's just they are mostly out of order Basic kart ride - Limbo, 1st circle Congratulations level - Lust, 2nd layer (in there they are being tortured by furious winds on top of the mountains) Desert Level - most likely 7th circle, since one of the punishments is rotting away in the desert, or if you're ultrakill fan then it's 4th Test level - ? ? ? (Didn't find anything that may match) Mud level - 8th or 7th Highway level - 5th Parking level - 8th Perhaps the devs got it accidentally or just got inspired by Dante's Inferno, also the "Christmas" level may or mayn't remind me of 9th, the last layer of hell, where sinners are neck deep in ice, while having their faces *face* downwards
I hope this game doesn’t go like Crow or Shipwrecked and retains all of the charm and gameplay of the original instead of making a game with less normal game in it and is mostly just horror or mystery or whatever. Like, don’t get me wrong, they aren’t BAD, but also they don’t sell me on the world of the game because there is no game, just a maze of horror. I feel like a good example of something like this happening more broadly is B3313, which over 2 updates went from a maze of corridors and madness that you can learn to solve over time to a game that is random, changes player to player, and can force you to play a LITERAL creepypasta level when entering the castle for the first time. It’s more of what SOME people want, but less of the actual GAME you promised.
Is this going for a 98XX vibe? Because that's what I'm getting from the visuals. We could be playing as the one responsible for a car accident (presumably the cat we play as and the same one we see later on in the game, along with the multiple instances of a cart without its driver), killing a mother who was going to have a baby (the sheep in the balloon, along with the sounds and visuals of the glitched bodies possibly representing the mother and the pain they had went through, including a drawing of the same red kart in karpet along with sheep standing near the edge of a cliff, maybe imposing that they drowned, followed by the cat saying "the waters are soothing"). Not only that, but the fact that the 1st track map is shaped like an infinity symbol and a drawing of a timer reaching impossible time (possibly representing neverending torment of the events of that fateful day), and at the end of the game, the guy who kills kitty could be a representation of the person who killed the people in the car, along with indietheorist stating that these tracks represent the 9 circles of hell, maybe presuming that the character we play as is trapped in a DIGITAL PURGATORY, encountering the monster this person has become at the end, doomed for eternal suffering, never allowing this person to be forgiven for the deaths they caused that day.
From me, it seems to be some sort of psych-involved game like symbolism and telling a story of a game with a creepy underbelly. Like how VR games sometimes have a theme of soul ported into game

He'd be right, honestly. Tho I'd like to see his take on real horror stuff
I mean, Conker was made under their supervision, and that game was...
Well, like it wss
My take its a story of becoming a monster:
Map 1: Just trying do what you think you should do, go for a race around the map but you never get ahead, so you go off the beaten path and end up lost and confused.
9:00 Don't scare me like that, man! I thought my notebook was frying
Nothing compared to 14:56
In Kitty's death scene٫ you'll notice that her teeth are actually falling out so I think he was actually aiming for the teeth to why we found the sheep's teeth٫ laying in a puddle of the sheep's blood
I initially kinda thought that the Congrats stage implied that a massacre happened, since the balloons are all bloody and the background music consists of people screaming in fear
it made me think the game could be a story about some masochist who killed and tortured people but idk how it related to the game other than it possibly being a purgatorial hell for the killer so yeah
I think you meant sadist
A masochist is someone who enjoys pain upon themselves (ex: someone enjoys being slapped)
A sadist is someone who likes causing others pain (ex: someone enjoys slapping others)
22:09 I think they were made in the balloons. And that's why there is a drawling of him or her in the balloon because she looks inside the balloons and saw them.
I was about to comment that it looks more like a fetus in the balloon, the red line being the umbilical cord
@@CooperDooper38 So where do the umbilical cord go to then? it might be the string at the bottom of the balloon that Leds to some thing?🤔
@@MilohTannen like an egg, it connects to the inner membrane of the balloon, I'd imagine.
Yeah I’m sick of that trope
It doesn't really look like a "haunted game"? There's really no references to it being haunted..just disturbing..

@@Birdsflight44I mean... just the fact the title screen leads to Twitter and Discord betrays it
The game studio is named "Skrunklesoft."
this script is honestly so corny and gets harder to listen to the further the video goes on
My dark theory for discussion:
I believe Sheep was probably a pregnant woman and Kitty is a friend of her trying to find her and became a victim of whoever also hurt Sheep.

If what you say happens to be sorta real, then, i would say that i find the story rather cliche-ish, but the way of telling it is really creative 💖✨
well if we assume that youre right about ththe shadow guy being the soon to be father, what if all the shadow guys are the same entity? what if its a story of him finding out kitty is pregnant, and going to any measure to stop the child from existing? the reason youre encouraged to pop the balloons with embryos in them is a metaphor for abortion or otherwise killing the child, and when it didnt work, the man took it upon himself to just straight up kill the host- the mother herself, and the child with her. the glitched bodies in that one level further up could be him stressed about hearing the big news, contemplating how to stop it from happening, or hell even his regret for killing the mother of his child.
if you wanna get really sad about it, maybe the child lived, and thats why sheep was up at the top level. the timer of life ticking endlessly, unable to be stopped. the march of time, the loss of the memories of her mother, the torment she knows was endured for her all those years ago. it gets to her, she jumps off the edge, falling deeper and deeper into her memories of the horrible incident, and taking herself out the same way her mother was killed, which would explain the pile of blood and teeth that already exists on the floor in the parking lot.

but I've got an idea for a possibly new horror genre, *Analog Horror Games*
and the idea I've got for this game is; you play as a Eltrich deer being, with millions of antlers forming into two antlers
and at first, you play as a *soon to be* victim, you're armed with a camcorder. and at the first glance of the monster, POV's switch, and then you play as the monster
you get to name the monster as well, you *COULD* name it George :), or a more fitting name for a deer monster, like *"Doplsash"* or something like that
and you get to name the County you're in, and the surrounding Counties aswell, as more people YOU failed to *consume* the more *prey* come into YOUR *territory*
what ya'll think of this wall of text tho

This whole game somehow in some way reminds me of how, in some ROM hacks for Super Mario 64, if the level is big enough, and you’re close enough to the edge (or something like that, I dunno what causes it exactly), the camera will detach from Mario and the polygons will turn into silly putty.
What if the jumbled letters may be an alphabet cipher and we cross reference the actual congratulations at the end?
It's 2024. I don't think the game designer would deliver the full game. We will never know if this would come back to reality. They probably had to give up on the project and move on with their life. when i think of the games we got to play as a group, when we were allowed to use our abilities to win the games, rather than using our abilities in boring target practice in a sterile environment with those crusty old men in labcoats watching our every move from over our shoulders, theres definitely a sense of nostalgia, for me at least.

This game gives me more GBA vibes, idk why.
some of it looks to be faux 3d models or at least fake pixellized which makes it look more like early GBA games that mimicked 3d movement before they actually figured out how to do that
Some of these levels remind me of circles of hell, it's just they are mostly out of order
Basic kart ride - Limbo, 1st circle
Congratulations level - Lust, 2nd layer (in there they are being tortured by furious winds on top of the mountains)
Desert Level - most likely 7th circle, since one of the punishments is rotting away in the desert, or if you're ultrakill fan then it's 4th
Test level - ? ? ? (Didn't find anything that may match)
Mud level - 8th or 7th
Highway level - 5th
Parking level - 8th
Perhaps the devs got it accidentally or just got inspired by Dante's Inferno, also the "Christmas" level may or mayn't remind me of 9th, the last layer of hell, where sinners are neck deep in ice, while having their faces *face* downwards
