Hello, is beginning a yoga teaching class today as we speak LOL. I was very interested in what type of work your therapist offered. That is something I want to do with my certification and I didn’t know anything like that existed 🙏🏼
Thank you for the video! You mentioned that yoga instructor courses tend to be more academic. I was wondering what i should learn before I go on my course. Should i learn bones and muscle names? Is it helpful to know the Sanskrit names of yoga poses? Is there anything else you could think of that would give me a head start on the course. I’d be very grateful for your help because my course starts on the 15th 🥳 so excited!
I did the same! I did my yttc and did not teach because Im not flexible and I cant even touch my toes. Its the philosophy that Im good at since I was born in India but I wasn't sure about teaching people who already have been doing full on yoga and they can do better than me and they had been learning before me doing vinyassa flow and Im only teaching hatha. Well I love your podcast however disagree with "start teaching right now" even without training because I have seen so many yoga teachers not leading correctly with wrong sequencing e.t.c. and nobody was able to tell them. At the end of the day those teachers end up with empty room and question in their mind "why nobody is coming to my class?".
