The reason so many people still buy Apple products is because they still believe that iPhones are better than Android phones. 90% of people who currently prefer Apple will probably say they haven't used an Android phone for many years because they're awful. What those dumb asses don't realise is that Android has significantly improved, especially from 2014 onwards. Also, all the hyped-up iOS updates literally do nothing. They literally just remove old features and add some new pointless ones to slow your phone down even more. Also, they still give their phones low-resolution screens, huge bezels, and no fucking headphone jack. They also purposely make their phones unrepairable to smartphone repair companies or users themselves. Instead, you have to take your phone to Apple themselves to be suddenly be charged $500 for a cracked glass repair (Yes, they charge over $500 if you smash the rear glass on an iPhone X). Also, one of the primary excuses an Apple user will give you if you ask them to prove that Apple is better is "Because they are a trillion dollar company". Yes, they may be a trillion dollar company, but they are completely missing the point. Only Apple sell OSX devices... Only Apple sell iOS devices... But there are THOUSANDS of companies selling Android, Linux and Windows devices. If all of those Android, Linux or Windows based companies' profits were combined, Apple would look like an ant compared to them. If you have this mindset, think again, and don't try to prove others wrong. Ok, rant over! :) Edit: Oh yeah, I also used to have an iPhone, but after switching to Android I'm never going back. My current phone is a Sony Xperia Z from February 2013. Yes, it's old and slow, but I'd still prefer it over an iPhone X. Edit 2: I now have a Huawei Honor Play. Bloody amazing phone.
Switched from Apple to OnePlus. I had an Android phone about 3 years and I didn't like it so I decided to try an iPhone and I went with it about 4 years but got bored of it and now I have OnePlus 6 and I feel like a kid in a candy store. I was sceptical moving from iOS to Oxygen because I loved how simple it was to use the iPhone but now this phone feels so good. It's not as simple as the iPhone but I love this. For it's price you get an amazing phone that in my opinion rivals iPhone X (of course iPhone X offers more but does it offer that much that you'd pay over $1000?) . I recommend giving a shot for OnePlus.

It's better having a headphone that is not rechargeable every 3 hrs, and yeah i know it connects to the phone's battery, phones like OnePlus 6 still has very fast charging though. And i can get better audio quality connecting to the jack than having a headohone connected to a USB-C/Bluetooth.

Another reason why OnePlus in general is great: Your warranty doesn't get void when you unlock your bootloader and install custom recoveries and ROM's (or root). I've never seen that in any smartphone company before!

I love my oneplus 6. For some of its features u normally need a different launcher, but oneplus can do without because they listen to the community. The screen's nice, the price, the useful screen capture feature, the dash charging, love it. My only issue is the beauty effect on the back camera which I can't seem to disable even though I have disabled it. For the rest it's a great phone for its price.

I heard the s7 edge is one of the Samsung phones that doesn't get slow after 2 yrs or more but others Samsungs do. My friend's s7 edge is still fast but my other grandpa's s7 is crap.
That flimsy case in the box actually saved me the day after I bought the phone. I dropped my phone face down on the concrete outside BUT the case that you get in the box has small levelers in each corner that prevented the screen from ever touching the ground and absolutely nothing was damaged.

Acer liquid zest plus is pretty = to OnePlus 6, other than the finger scanner. Its modular and has a better battery life as well as having acer game zone, where u put more power and RAM into games while shutting off other applications including notifications unless labeled emergency or critical in settings

As an 8yr iPhone user, I'm really considering getting a OnePlus6 or a Galaxy S9 as my first Android phone. The 3 main reasons are Headphone Jack, Fingerprint scanner, and Software features: like close all apps button, in-app camera settings, app lock, a full-on status bar...I have all these features on my current jailbroken iPhone 6 and therefore improving my user experience but on the newer iPhones they're all missing, so I don't see should buy the new one!
Coolest OnePlus 6 feature. Set an Alarm in the "Clock" app and then turn OFF your phone. Let's say you set the alarm for 6:00AM and you shut off your phone at 2:00AM so that it would charge faster. You fall asleep. The OnePlus 6 will TURN ITSELF ON at 6AM to run the ALARM to wake you. That's is so dang cool. This is not in SLEEP mode; this is in FULL OFF MODE. I have not tested it when not plugged into the DASH charger, but when plugged into the DASH charger while powered off, it will turn itself on to wake you up to give you even FASTER charging and you won't miss your alarm. That is freaking cool.
Tim I found out by accident. I was charging my OnePlus 6 while powered off and fell asleep. The darn thing turned on in the morning and woke me up. Could not believe it. Tested it. Confirmed.

@@maxvandijk2001 S8 gets the colors wrong in almost every photo. Purple becomes too light, yellow becomes too bright yellow, dark brown becomes weird sharp red. BTW get the GCam app (pixel's cam app ported for OP6), it produces amazing results, literally just as good as the Pixel itself, except that the app sometimes underexposes but hopefully the developers at xda will make it better.
Good video. I agree with pretty much all the points you mentioned EXCEPT for the camera. I don't think the iPhone X has a better camera. I'd say the OnePlus 6 camera is on par with the iPhone X and in some cases even better. The iPhone X camera is probably a bit more consistent in various lighting conditions, but the OP6 camera has much better performance in low light and better and more natural color reproduction. The iPhone X camera is still very good, no doubt about it, but it's NOT better than the one on the OnePlus 6. Also, I disagree the iPhone X has a better display. That is on paper only. The OnePlus 6 has a brilliant display and a several customisation modes to suit your liking and preference. The iPhone X has a very good display and it's well calibrated but except for the so-called true tone mode you have to stick to what's been set up for you by the manufacturer.
The iPhone only ever beats it in benchmarks, while in real world tests, the OP6 wins. And as for physical hardware, both phones have front and back glass, and a metal frame. As for software, that's always a personal preference thing. The OP6 is as close to a vanilla Android experience as you can get to the pixel series.

Mateo Penezic I prefer iOS over android. So to answer your question. Yes. The iPhone has less ram, but since the os is so well optimized the phone runs smooth and fast. I remember the iPhone 5s with only 1gb of ram ran circles around an Android phone that had 4gb of ram.
Love the OP6, but loads of these reasons are the same for all OnePlus phones past (and including) the OP3. It just shows that if you do research you can save so much money.
I bought one plus six red 8GB variant together with one plus V2 headphones yesterday at the cost of 41198 Indian rupees that's 600 USdollars. iphone in my country costs 1100-1200 USD. I've never used a smartphone this expensive, so that obviously makes one plus a bit overwhelming for me! 🙂 I'm loving the oxygen os and the fast charging thing. It's been a day but I'm still discovering new features.

I love my oneplus 6. For some of its features u normally need a different launcher, but oneplus can do without because they listen to the community. The screen's nice, the price, the useful screen capture feature, the dash charging, love it.
My only issue is the beauty effect on the back camera which I can't seem to disable even though I have disabled it. For the rest it's a great phone for its price.

Its modular and has a better battery life as well as having acer game zone, where u put more power and RAM into games while shutting off other applications including notifications unless labeled emergency or critical in settings

As an 8yr iPhone user, I'm really considering getting a OnePlus6 or a Galaxy S9 as my first Android phone. The 3 main reasons are Headphone Jack, Fingerprint scanner, and Software features: like close all apps button, in-app camera settings, app lock, a full-on status bar...I have all these features on my current jailbroken iPhone 6 and therefore improving my user experience but on the newer iPhones they're all missing, so I don't see should buy the new one!
Coolest OnePlus 6 feature. Set an Alarm in the "Clock" app and then turn OFF your phone. Let's say you set the alarm for 6:00AM and you shut off your phone at 2:00AM so that it would charge faster. You fall asleep. The OnePlus 6 will TURN ITSELF ON at 6AM to run the ALARM to wake you. That's is so dang cool. This is not in SLEEP mode; this is in FULL OFF MODE. I have not tested it when not plugged into the DASH charger, but when plugged into the DASH charger while powered off, it will turn itself on to wake you up to give you even FASTER charging and you won't miss your alarm. That is freaking cool.

@@maxvandijk2001 S8 gets the colors wrong in almost every photo. Purple becomes too light, yellow becomes too bright yellow, dark brown becomes weird sharp red. BTW get the GCam app (pixel's cam app ported for OP6), it produces amazing results, literally just as good as the Pixel itself, except that the app sometimes underexposes but hopefully the developers at xda will make it better.
Good video. I agree with pretty much all the points you mentioned EXCEPT for the camera. I don't think the iPhone X has a better camera. I'd say the OnePlus 6 camera is on par with the iPhone X and in some cases even better. The iPhone X camera is probably a bit more consistent in various lighting conditions, but the OP6 camera has much better performance in low light and better and more natural color reproduction. The iPhone X camera is still very good, no doubt about it, but it's NOT better than the one on the OnePlus 6.
Also, I disagree the iPhone X has a better display. That is on paper only. The OnePlus 6 has a brilliant display and a several customisation modes to suit your liking and preference. The iPhone X has a very good display and it's well calibrated but except for the so-called true tone mode you have to stick to what's been set up for you by the manufacturer.

And as for physical hardware, both phones have front and back glass, and a metal frame.
As for software, that's always a personal preference thing. The OP6 is as close to a vanilla Android experience as you can get to the pixel series.

Not a fan of their browser, at all. Having said that, their Android interface looks great! I never really looked into this but can you use themes on it like what a jailbreak does on iOS?
