I even suspect she may be a fan of FF7. It would be so hard to translate all the questions and answers like she did otherwise. She is that good. Big appreciation

Give him brand new moves and limit breaks. And it's not against the law to create brand new powers and fighting moves exclusive to Cloud, to make him more distinct like Noct. Flesh out your combat system. Going from offense to defense needs to be seemless like when boxers slip punches and counter-- intuitive as breathing
One day it will be good enough to just put the directors name in the title as opposed to the ambiguous title of "FF7 director". I get its a language barrier thing but it always surprises me that people dont even know who the Japanese staff behind their favorite works.
The director and team seem so passionate! I can't wait to play the game. I hope they stick around for part 3 like the 70-80% that stuck around for Rebirrth

As should be expected, he makes an excellent point about Sephiroth being overall more prominent in the story (which is a thing I've seen many people take issue with). In the world of FF7 Sephiroth should be famous, he was basically Emo-Captain America prior to Nibelheim and nobody eleven knows about that except Cloud & Tifa. Not only would it not make sense for him to not be talked about, he could totally just walk around wherever he wants because 99% of people don't even know he's a villain.
SPOILER for OG FF7 . . . But isn’t just about every appearance of sephiroth outside of the Nibelheim incident flashback just a projection of Sephiroth by sephiroth/jenova? Because his actual body is encased in materia crystal in the North Cave during the present day
Mr. Hamaguchi's responses are incredibly satisfying to hear. It is clear he really understands players and also respects the original IP. What a contrast to devs who are out of touch and focus on things no one asked for or wanted!
Its looking more and more like FF6 will be remade after the 7 trilogy they're talking about it thinking about it internally devs want to do it... I'm so happy 😊
