I'm about 10 hours into the game so far and I've been loving every second of it. There were several moments that happened between the characters that really made me smile. I even teared up a bit already because of how much I love these characters. Hamaguchi is definitely the right man for the job because he gets it.

The Barret and Red dates were so good. Don’t get me wrong, I love both the Tifa and Aerith options and all the feels that come with them, but there’s something about the connections in this game. Briana White said it in an interview I watched recently, and she hit the nail on the head; seeing Cloud have genuine connections with his bros is equally if not more important than with the women in his life, and this Remake series does a great job of getting the player to connect with their teammates in every moment of downtime you can

The right man for the job, Japanese sure make the best things. Love they’re inventions and games. This game has been a massive success and so far only very few hate it heard but as long as many people enjoyed the game and it scored really high its a success

Giving Remake a 10 and Rebirth an 8 is absolute madness, that should be reversed if anything
The game's great, just wish the tech side was more polished, the performance mode, which was fine in remake, is so blurry here I needed to switch to quality, and the patch made it even worse as it became pixelated.

Most egregious move of all in journalism… then he spoils the Aerith moment for and all newcomers in the first 3 mins of this interview… no respect at all for this clown 🤡🤡🤡

Imagine wanting to make a FF game only to be stuck with a remake - or worse, your only idea for a new game was a remake.
better than making a blizzard game.
Imagine growing up with a specific FF game, and being granted to chance to put your mark on that very game, by being made co-director of a from-the-ground-up remake with a AAA budget.
