The metal roof has saved this house. It has repair and upgrading potential. It would be a money pit however the end result would be stunning if the right person bought it to bring those old bones back to life.
I think that room was added later based on the windows near the staircase and the front of the house. Probably added so the person in the wheelchair could look outside there.
What an amazing home, such a waste I wish I could have such a home! The wheelchair is custom built for someone with a need for head supports and leg side supports. Very unusual, probably about 1900. It has the wire wheels but wood/wicker seating. I collect old wheelchairs, I am a quadriplegic and find our history especially equipment totally interesting. I have an 1860s chair with wood wheels and hand pounded frame. Thanks for being able to see such a home especially since I cannot get to your area due to my disability, be safe!

Beautiful. Friends of mine rented a horse farm house. It had so many pockets, the children loved it. The house was big, loved the big stone fireplace in the main living room. Hi Kappy 😁It’s a tough job just getting into these places, this one’s a work out 🏋️♀️, But even though it has lots of areas to cover, thanks for going through it! Because having a cold, many empty abandons are chilly sometimes, good socks make the difference, and having a hot thermos with choice of soup, tea, coffee, hot cocoa, will spur you on a long visit to sites when it’s cold 🥶 My family had horses some were ours, but we had other people’s horses 🐎 there too. And the stalls weren’t too far from our house, plus we raised Irish Setters, and had turkeys and chickens, ducks 🦆. In Europe some farms had their cows 🐄 and other animals in stalls below their homes. This home is perfect, one wall needs attention. But it was funny to see your reflection reaction ha! Ha! One spooky house I lived in had a mirror on the stair landing, and I got my scare on a stormy night there 😱Thanks for the fun!
I paused it @ 12:30 in to come say there is something mysteriously fascinating about this one, idk what it is but just wow….. back to the video!! Finished the vid, that place is really something else! Kappy was there no large horse barn in close proximity to the house? I figured there had to be!

What a great house
Very interesting floor plan huge kitchen area and the attic is incredible hope it gets a new life
I feel like this house could be saved. It looked like someone was redoing the electrical and then stopped. It would take a lot of money, but I feel like it would be worth it.
What an amazing house and it is still standing there too, and proudly. Lots of space to move around in. The furniture is still beautiful even with the hardware falling off and askew. Thanks for sharing and you have a wonderful day and safe travels
Love this one..the stove..I have actually cooked on one of those when I was 17 years old (am 54 now) and do remember that the food tasted amazing….thank you for the tour of this amazing home ❤
This is an amazing house!! This house was surely loved and treasured. If any spirits came back to visit I could certainly understand why! Im really curious, being a horse lover, what was the name of the Kentucky Derby winner? Id love to know.
Great explore Kappy, thank you 😊
Me & my siblings use to ride our Fisher Big Wheels around the basement! There's absolutely nothing "creepy" about the foundations of a house! Seriously, dude 😂! Its all in your head! #thinklove ❤
This place is amazing! Great find.

Thanks for sharing this with me kappy about The Completely Breathtaking Abandoned Thoroughbred Horse Mansion in the Mountains of Kentucky it was a really nice old home and i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out on my community tab and God Bless.
Amazing old home. Love it. Thanks for taking us along.
Wow, what a kitchen!
10:57 My Favorite room. Warm and cozy.
WOW 😲 ANOTHER AWSOME COOL 😎🆒 OLD HOUSE 🏠🏡.KAPPY.JUST WHEN I THINK YOU CAN'T FIND ANOTHER ONE LIKE THAT YOU BRING US THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE
I paused it @ 12:30 in to come say there is something mysteriously fascinating about this one, idk what it is but just wow….. back to the video!!
Finished the vid, that place is really something else! Kappy was there no large horse barn in close proximity to the house? I figured there had to be!
